What a genius. Track structure, fingers picking and chords.. made a mix unique. It's a shame he has not big visibility! I think he gave a huge contribution to alternative music !
Cyrus... weird seeing your old comments float around Elliott Smith UA-cam videos. Miss you homie. This dude here was a great musician. Used to collaborate with him, but he's gone now. Haha it was a tough tune bro, I can't get the solo down for the life of me. I thought he recorded it with like 3 guitars in the studio. I always think about when we covered eachothers songs. You were really nice to me, and inspired me to write better music. I didn't know you long, but I love you Cyrus. Hope your jammin' with Elliott right now in Nashville tuning.
@@XLR8Gaming8RLX I believe it was cancer. I never spoke to his family or anything, but you can find his obituary online. I forgot I wrote this. I was hammered that night lol. Anyway, he was a super friendly person... we collaborated musically for a year or two around 2012ish... Nicest guy ever.

Some top shelf video FX 😎
love this track. Imagine playing this live. Elliott was a lunatic!
He only played this one less than a handful of times live.
great, thanks for sharing. He could do it live! Such a tough tune in Nashville Tuning.

Lyny.
Cyrus Sink, he plays it in standard tuning live. That being said his guitar is usually tuned a whole step down though.
