You didn't show how you got the gold onto the beads of glue.
thank you...I have yet to do any crafting yet...I guess I'm trying to watch all the tutorials so I can learn some techniques...and to brace myself...
I can imagine using this texturing technique to make dew drops on grass or something. This is a neat idea.
thanks, will try that.,sometimes I use wood glue to get that crackle effect
Hi..This is amazing..Which acrylics colors you used for this painting? Also is this gel effect possible with school glue also?
love it...just 1 question..what prevents the glue from peeling off?? does the paint adhere it to the canvas??
Hello Amy
Did you have used metallic gold on the lines and bubbles at the end of your work
Thanks Amy
This is what I'm wondering too!!!
Wonderful... MAY I try this myself?
I'm stunned.
WOW i mean. But i don't have that equipment that you used. So what do i use as an alternative ?
I love this, Amy. Absolutely LOVE it! Thank you so much for sharing your gift!
I hadn't thought to use my glue gun as a medium. Thanks for the great idea!
I love this! What kind of acrylic paint did you use on top? so irradiance!!
Debra Powell It looks like metallic paint. Or maybe some iridescent fluid added
will you ever add a list in the description of the things needed to make the paintings?
Beautiful!! New subbie by the way!!!
nice I like it thank u .please can u tell me which colare I have to use If I want make it gold thank u
Thanks for the amazing video. I gave you a happy thumbs up :) I don't have hot glue, is there any sort of gel or medium that I can use instead?
Did she say how long you keep the shoe polish on for?
Love all your videos. Please do some more. Thx
Thanks a lot!!!!! Your instructions gave me new energy an ideas for our upcoming "projectweek" at the school. :-)
Keep on going, you do it very well.
Beside if you dare, an Instructionvideo how to make Nail Pictures could be interesting. ;-)
best regards from germany and thank you again
Nico
Amy i love your work, you have inspired me to try this art technique thanks for sharing
Hi Amy, love this technique. Can you let me know if its possible to used a different type of glue other than a hot glue gun? I'm thinking of teaching a class this, but the guns would be expensive for the whole class - thanks Emma
Just stumbled across your video (saw it on Pinterest first) and absolutely love this idea! And the shoe polish trick is inspired! Can't wait to try these myself! You have a new subscriber :-)
Hey, maybe you can put what your using as a shoe polish liquid or paste and black or brown? and color paint for those who are beginners? I subscribed to another artist page and he in his info puts everything he uses and it really helps. That blue looks metallic, is it?
Hi Amy, what colors hv u used to paint? And do you paint one color and wipe it away( so that it shows on crevices) or you let the paint stay and just add another layer on to? Do u hv any order like going from light to dark colors? Thanks!
How did u give golden colour on dots and lines
why did you paint a layer of green if you are going to paint over it?
CeCeluv01 AJ I think it is because the dried glue still is slightly translucent and could add depth.
I believe you always want a base for any techniques.
because layering paint is...painting. :)
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS !!! did you use a metallic paint ?
What a fab idea for texture. Thanks, Amy. What brand of glue gun you are using?
Hi Amy I love your videos! Did you use an iridescent or pearl like paint on this?
Hi Amy! I love texture too and Im so happy to have found your channel! I dont know if ur active anymore, but I want a hot glue gun now :)
Any tips on what to get? Or what not to get lol
Thank you for the inspiration , cheers from sweden
Beautiful and easy to do. I am new to acrylics so this has been very helpful. Thank you.
im going to make my son a painting like this. with yellow and orange and reds. I don't have shoe polish, what else can I use?

Hi Amy, your videos are awesome. Keep such videos coming!
What colors did you use on this?
I did a hot glue painting a while back. I just sold it for 100$!!
Why is your video have such loud background noise, but thank you for the video.
Hot glue COOLS.... IT DOESN'T DRY people.
Wow that looks like a cool water background for a water fairy or even a cool way to make texture for a dragon. Good job.
which colors do u use
Hi Amy. First off, I LOVE your videos! I have a question. The lines and dots look silver and I am wondering what you did to create that look. Did you use silver paint or did the shoe polish turn it that color? I am so in love with this project. I have ugly tiles around my fireplace and I've been searching for something that I can do myself since having it done professionally is to costly. I am thinking this would look awesome around the fireplace!
You use a small crafting sponge (small wedge sponge works perfectly) and then dab it in the color paint you wish to use and run it, and/or dob along the glue lines and dots.
Also, a few small pieces of light grade sand paper can also be used beforehand to remove some of the existing paint and provide a bit of 'tooth' which also helps adhesion when applying the gold paint with the sponge
Cheers,
wow... wow ... your works are just tooo beautiful and amazing . i really appreciate all your arts😍 . God bless you 😊
really great and easy to make idea
I cannot find the shoe polish thing in the description...is it somewhere else?
Jlou Cha Thanks! I've updated the description with the links.
that is so mega cool.......thanks!!! and simple...thanks again i'll try it!!!
It seems that this is on wood. Can you use this same design on texture? Or maybe even glass?
Love this...I have wondered how to get texture without using expensive gesso/texture medium.
Does the hot glue eventually crack if moved on the canvas?
Did you have to thin the paint, or use directly from the bottle?
Really like this medium. Great thanks for sharing.
Your videos are always awesome!! Short and to the point!! Perfect
What effect does hot glue on canvas have - still enjoyed technique, clever.
I like it. very much. tell colors r amazing!
I want to PLAY, your ideas are so inspirational!!
how do you keep the glue from rubbing off when you put the paint on?
Thanks, I love your easy demonstration and the easy listening music in the background.
Love this technique, I will be trying this very soon! Thank you for sharing!
I love all your ideas!!!! Thanks for sharing!
Looking at the long time effect, will the Hot Glue stay on the canvas as long as forever? Will it not remove?
Olufunmi Ayo Odunsi try putting a seal on it. It should archive pretty well
Can u please show me the company name of Colours u Use plzzzzz
Nice colors - I'd like to see some of that green come through
Very nice,I will try!
You have given me some great ideas to incorporate my Tangle art
Something so simple turns into something beautiful x

Thanks, John! I'd love to see how it turns out!
Love it! Thank you so much.
Looks so easy.I all the stuff that I need for this!
Hi I try the painting both times. It seems if I do the first layer in my choice of color then do the glue gun. then my other color it looks nice but if I apply the shoe polish everything is a mess I can rub the glue then I see my background color but the shoe polish can not get off with water, what kind do u use please. do you get a shoe polish with a water base.
Natasha Struwig it looks like some kind of liquid shoe polish
I LOVE THIS, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE WARM PLACES AS MIAMI, THE GLUE WILL BE MELT????
+dayline19 Heat won't melt glue from a heat glue gun.
thanks sweety for your answer : )
This is an unique art technic. I really like it
Do you have to use hot glue or can I use any kind for the texture because I can't afford a hot glue gun?
It won't turn out exactly the same, but you can definitely use other types of glue. One of my favorite things about art is that there are no right answers and there are always other ways to get creative and make something awesome with whatever we have on hand.
@soulrift I got my glue gun and the glue at a dollar store ! works good
At the end of the video the glue spots appear to glow of a golden color, how was that that done...it looks nice like that...
