You explain so clearly and demonstrate what you are doing so your videos are always great!
the most realistic designs in hot glue I've seen so far on youtube. great job. great control. thanks
I seriously LOVE everything you do!
i love your techniques... so simple yet totally effective
That is an awesome idea! Can't wait to try it.
I always admire - and am a bit envious of - artists as creative as you are. It is wonderful and so generous when an artist shares their knowledge and their creativity with others. I look at that artist as being a part of every creation done via their teaching. Your art is really beautiful. Thank you so much!
that turned out beautiful yes I love it.
Absolutely Awesome! I love it!
Fantastic video, thank you very much. It looked equally beautiful with the stencil.

Hi, Amy is a nice way to see it and do it. Thank you for sharing. From Mexico city Hola Amy
This is GENUIS!!! TFS luv! ♥ dig
Love your work 👍x
Wow muy hermoso
Hi Amy ! I love this ! I'm doing something similar only with cold pva glue and using wax paper to set it on. When you peel it back carefully from the paper it leaves a lovely ghostly image of whatever design I've done. Got me to thinking this byproduct of the process creates even more opportunity to create using the wax paper afterwards. I'll have to get a vid up about that to show some of the fences, trees and spider webs I've made to use as embellishments. Thanks for another great video Amy ! Cheers ! Janis
i like it..great
It's like the branches are reaching for each other.
I like the simplicity of arranging the branches first. My mind is just in overdrive on ideas stemming from this. Thankyou. :)
Please share some of those ideas!
i like this too. Would like to see more.

Amy Pearce your welcome we are always willing to try new stuff
This is a very nice idea!
Maybe I can apply it to my paintings in some way.
Hi thay are fab great idea i will give it a go thank you .xx
Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love it... 'Hmm, making a piece of art...doesn't come off...*WHACK*!' :D :)
Very nice
Wow... so cool! I tried to make a couple stencils with glue gun... but think I have too large of gun. I think the smaller one would probably work better. I guess it also takes practice.
Gorgeous! I actually liked it better with the hot glue still on it.
great wunderbar
Great idea! Letting the spray paint dry completely will allow the shapes left behind not to have a hazg look and come out cleaner.
Thanks for the tip! The hazed look actually came from the blossoms being raised off of the surface (up onto the branches) and not laying completely flat on the canvas, when I sprayed. this was a conscious choice. I was going for more of a cyanotype look.
Fantastic
Thanks!
I do enjoy your tuts Amy, TFS. Hugs Tibby xxx
I'm totally going to start calling them "tuts" Love it! haha, thanks Tibby! xxx
thanks
Wow, that is awesome. Tfs!
Are you going to try it? I'd love to see what you come up with!
I'll definitely be making some hot glue stencils of some description. I will try something like this when I have a better mastery of the glue gun (and I should probably wait until I have something better then my ultra cheap and very small glue gun, too. The sticks of glue are so tiny!). But if I do manage to do something this lovely, I will certainly let you know and share my project with you (and, of course, credit you with the idea). Hugs, Fiona
cool
Wauw. Dat is gaaf. Cool.
HI Amy love love your work, i made a new discovery today. question , is it possible to use the glue on glass bottles to decorate them and them spray them afterwards.
Can you use these painting out doors?
that's really waoooo
won der ful idea
Where do you purchase a silicone baking liner?
I would suggest a different background color. for the glue mat
👌👌👌
This is wonderful! Do you or can you glue down the "branches" you made and have 3D textured branches and then paint them? I'd like to see how this would be done PLEEEEAAAASE Amy :-)

This Looks Great wounder if I could mount a Poem on some distressed hand made paper than use your tech on the back drop. Gonna have to mess with that a lil
#1 Could u adhere/decoupage the stencils onto canvas now? #2 I would like to use your stencil idea to write out part of a poem for an acrylic triptych and then maybe decoupage the words upon a canvas. ??????
can you use wax paper to create the branches? Otherwise I have plastic cutting boards?
Can the tree branch stencil be used again after painting? Have you tried this with any homemade sprays? What works? I tried with watered down acrylic, but it was too watery. Don't know if I should change my paint/water ratio, or if acrylic is a bad idea. I'm going to try making my own alcohol spray next. I want to use this on wood and on paper and on inexpensive canvases. Input welcomed!
how can you recycle the hot glue you painted?
Iam so jealous of your skills
Oh, man! No need to be jealous. :-)
Of course i do, that is a stunning piece! :)
Can you use anyother material to make these beautiful stencils on besides the silicone mats?
Parchment / baking paper not wax paper.
Nice but it is easier to paint it with a brush with colored grease or oil paint around and over if you like let paint dry and then wipe grease off ., give it a shot you might like the results 😉
😍😍😍😍😍
Amazing, my glue gun arrives tomorrow, will try this
Why not keeping the hot glue? That would make an awesome effect to! Definitely will try it soon :) (Great fan from Montreal, Canada! Love your art!!)
**too
I totally agree! I was actually watching this with my husband and we talked about how pretty it was with the glue. That will be a video soon. stay tuned! :-)
I'm looking for a decent glue gun. Are you satisfied with the Arrow TR550 glue gun? Thanks
I honestly have just been using whatever glue gun was laying around. So far I haven't felt a need to look for anything fancy.
Would wax paper work instead?
Or maybe parchment?
It will melt the wax paper and stick to it. Parchment will work because it is silicone.
I love your channel :)

very effective. guess you'd use a face mask in a well ventilated room
I couldn't really see what you were doing because the background design was distracting. Could you do a few in a solid color background?
