Bento is a work of love. As many Asians typically don't say "I love you!", but show it by cooking, Japanese show their love to their children by making Bento boxes.

Omg it’s so cool! I really like Japan and I was wondering how Japanese’s people do their bento. And I go to UA-cam but all videos that I saw was American or something and it wasn’t like with tipical rice and vegies but it was sandwiches and cookies. So I was disappointed but then I found your channel and I’m so happy that yours bento are like kind of traditionals Japanese bentos. Besides that I have to be sooooo delicious. Looks great, for sure I’m going to try these.
    Great video, and Recipes!

Lots of fun new recipes to try here! It'll be fun to have something new to pack for lunch. Your method for making Onigiri seems a lot easier than others I've seen.

Also, how many days in advance would you make each of these items? For the Sandos, I'm guessing you make them the same morning? Oh, and one more question? How do you keep cut out veggie flowers from drying out in your Bento?

I personally didn’t like the carrots! I enjoyed everything else though!! As a pescetarian, I bought veggie southern fried (not)chicken for the karaage and for the soboro I just used mushroom instead!

Yes! After cooking Korean, Chinese, Thai food and Khmer food. I feel that Japanese food is very minimalist. Since the food I cook are very diverse I. Flavor and difficult to gain it's right texture.

    $3 main ingredients
    $50+ seasoning/extra stuff (sake/mirin etc)
    Huhuhuhu
But absolutely useful to add prep!! And nice short Japanese lesson at the end. ❤❤❤

Ive been eating enough Japanese food that I have all of those in stock. Since they're used as seasoning they last a good while.

Japanese food always looks stunning. I've tried different foods from Japan numerous times, and I simply do not enjoy the taste of anything I've tried yet, but I keep coming back because it looks so damn good!
