If one just started his own company, and the first costs presumably 150.000€, for what so ever need to be paid, would you recommend going directly to angel investors and present them your idea, for which you by the time have no number in place, and for which you can only come up with estimations, or would you start by collecting this money by crowdfunding, start selling and contact those investors the moment you need more capital to expand? Good to remember that VC's specialize in different stages. Some prefer pre-seed in small amounts, others prefer the seed stage. Other VCs have a sweet spot of $5MM to $20MM in existing annual revenue before they will look at a project. Know the VC funding sweet spot.
Would love a video about getting an idea. I understand idea's are meaningless without execution but you can't begin executing without an idea to start with. I also understand that you could do something small and common (e.g car washing, selling lemonade, etc.) but I would love to start something new and improved - a product I actually believe in - and begin selling, branding, marketing and doing everything from there. I hope you get around to it! :)

Thanks for this! I'm currently saving my own money for my English school, but I'm realizing that this would take forever. So I'm looking around for a) a business partner b) investment.
Sending you lots of love from Ghana...God richly Bless you....
Wait I thought he quit UA-cam!? But still I'm happy to see him 💯
Good to remember that VC's specialize in different stages. Some prefer pre-seed in small amounts, others prefer the seed stage. Other VCs have a sweet spot of $5MM to $20MM in existing annual revenue before they will look at a project. Know the VC funding sweet spot.
Shoutout to Patrick for constantly providing HUGE value! ✌🏼😏🔥
GOLD ideas starts at 01:25, thanks a lot
Would love a video about getting an idea. I understand idea's are meaningless without execution but you can't begin executing without an idea to start with. I also understand that you could do something small and common (e.g car washing, selling lemonade, etc.) but I would love to start something new and improved - a product I actually believe in - and begin selling, branding, marketing and doing everything from there. I hope you get around to it! :)
he has already made a video about it.
You are very talented, I saw your interview with Woz and you know how to communicate with people, keep up the good work man...
Hey Pat! There's too much love in this video for us and I cannot thank you enough, I just hope I'm able to give back to the community someday!.. Cheers from São Paulo - BRAZIL!
Hey Patrick! I'm glad you started the podcast back up. You had a really creative and hilarious welcome back video. Thanks for sharing your experiences, and entrepreneurship with the whole world! You've really got me thinking.

The I Am Part Is Helpful/Highlighting Too
Thank you for coming back!
This is great stuff , as an entrepreneur my self I’m using my own capital , but it’s very interesting to know other options available great job
Hey Patrick you got my like and subscribe! UA-cam pushed me your video and I'm so happy it's did.
I'm 25y.o and I learned so much from this video, I just got the opportunity to work with a big company that searching investors in my country and they took me as representative for them and like I said before this video teach me allot. So thanks again!
This guy makes me wanna fly to the US and work for him.
And they are back in full force! Always such great questions to ponder, no wonder it's called Valuetainment! Long live this channel!
Hey Pat Welcome back! Could not have a better start to the new year, I got so excited seeing you back that I got up my seat in office and called for a celebration. But one thing mate, I really miss your black board. The writings there grabbed the focus and helped in keeping track through out the video. Can anything be done regarding this? and once again Welcome Back!! Cheers and much love
5 minutes into the video, I decided I do not want to raise capital. I’d rather trade my time and become a slave of my business than become a slave of an investor
Which is why not everyone is cut to be a successful millionaire/ businessperson
@@Diego.Talks. Agreed. Except I think you mean billionaires? Because most people can have net Worth's of $5M to $10M USD Without investors from running their own businesses
Imagine trading your time to be a slave to your manager 😅
I believe prospective is everything. At a certain point to scale you will need collaboration.
Thinking too small?
Thanks Pat. This is EXACTLY what I needed to start this year.
Hey pat can you do a video on self talk and asking yourself the right questions! Love you man 🏆
One of the best video`s you`ve done Patrick! Took a lot of notes. Liked especially the end message - I`m all for people being more self sufficient, even if it is still a big challenge for me, having just survived the first year building a buisness from scratch, - I realize from your video what I can do to get hold of investors, and what to do. Great!.
it` s what I beleive in.
