Suggestion: Call drone company and tell them about what happened to your drone. Maybe their was a recall, or defect they know about. Also tell them about your channel and how much you use, like and advertise there product in each vedio. You can be there spokesman. An idea......can't hurt. What company manufacturered the drone? What model did you have? And which one have you dreamed about? LOL How do you get anything shipped to you while your on the road?
Hi guys, re your drone, this is more for next time really... The likelihood is the battery wasn't quite locked in 100% & even if there's a disconnect through vibration for 0.1secs it takes too long to reboot & crashes. Either that or did you do the DJI dance and calibrate it prior to flight? It could've been rebar in the concrete that messed with the internal compass. Only way to avoid in future is to calibrate with the DJI dance and hand launch at arms length from concrete. Whatever it was, gutted for you, hopefully your insurance covers you.

What is fair to the purchaser and the manufacturer that both, can be pleased or happy with. Both need a voice, both need an opportunity to resolve the issues. It can be a win, win situation if dialogue is openned and honest. The manufacturer doesn't want a bad reputation for reproducing a bad product. That hurts future business. Yet, doesn't want to lose money either. Trent made an honest purchase were his expectation of the product didn't measure up. He didn't abuse the product. It didn't crash into anything. The product simply failed in someway. Perhaps Trent can actually test the products in the future for durablity under normal use for the manufacturer. This is part of my faith. I'm Jewish.

Perhaps if you send the drone to the manufacturer they could diagnose a software problem and improve their software. It might even be something they consider their fault and give you a replacement...

The loss of the drone is unfortunate but love the way you closed on a positive … if DJI don't send you a new Mavic 2 for free they're missing an opportunity as you guys have raised the bar in drone video … tremendous work!

So I would think about getting the same drone too! I wonder if they had the DJI care refresh or insurance on the drone.

try contacting dji to see if there are more people with the same problem, maybe there is an RMA(recall on the battery maybe?)

Longest tunnel I drove through was the St Gottard Tunnel, 10.5 miles(16.9km) in Switzerland - an amazing engineering feat!

It might be the same stuff but IMO Trent and Allie bring such a different spin to it that I don’t mind. Some of the others just aren’t as enjoyable to watch.

There are laser guns that disable/disconnect drones. That's a dense populated area. Someone shot your drone down mates.
