Sweet build! I picked up a non running 92 Indy 650 and trying to get it running. I noticed there's a line on the fuel pump that broke off. It was a capped/plugged line but not sure what it's for.... fuel return thats been bypassed maybe? There are 5 other lines on the pump, 3 to the carbs, one to the tank line in, and the pulse line. Since the fuel return (I'm guessing) line broke off and is no longer plugged/bypassed, could that be the cause of the sled not running. The guy I got it from said it just died on them one day while riding.

Well there it is in all its glory, and it looks mighty fine indeed Todd! Sounds great too! The dash plaques look great really set off the red accents on the sled. I had an '83 600 triple and this sled reminds me of it, and it was the fastest sled I owned at up to that point in my life, so it brings back some fond memories. Question though, why is your tach turned sideways?
snowking55 - looks like 9100 rpm is straight up, and that’s max rpm for him. so when you are flying down the trail or across the lake at wide open, and only have a fraction of a second to look down, the tach needle should be pointing straight up. This way you can see you are at peak power very quickly. It’s an old drag racing trick.
