Forgot to say. Yes it's going to have the XCR 800 triple triple. Bought Wahl Brothers hard motor mounts and the billit engine stabilizer that bolts to the left crankcase where a starter would bolt to and then to tunnel
Had an '03, last year they made them. All the little quirks and bugs were totally worked out by then, except the carb slides needed updating for reliability. But I'm here to tell you that thing hauled ass big time. I was amazed at the acceleration from roughly 55mph up. At 50mph, and a good grip, it would lift the skis. The speedo flew by 80mph like it did at 60mph. At around 90 100mph, acceleration started dropping off, but it was still pulling at 110mph. I was radared at 121mph on Houghton Lake Michigan in 2005. The day before was warmer, and snow conditions were worse. A trail ported SRX and I both registered 109mph. So you can see how much temps and snow conditions affected top speed. Sure wish I still had it. But when I start missing it, I see how bad the Winters have gotten, so much warmer now than then. No snow in the lower peninsula as I send this. Hard to believe.......
I wish we had the snow that we did in 05. Had to justify buying a trail permit when we don't get any snow. I have a little over an inch here in Houghton lake.

Southern Wisconsin has been absolutely abysmal, that was my only day out with it last year 😞. Hasn’t had the track touch the ground yet since…

I had the same combo but with the baby brother xcr700 power valve motor with full dynoport pipes.Thing was fast!
Love them triples, sound sooo good, and man do they pull.
Thanks for memories ! back in '97 I built a 1000cc HTG from my '94 Storm, 119.7 in 1000'. pretty good for a N/A back then !
Polaris really cooked something up with those valved 800 xcrs
Really impressive! Beautiful sled!
Greatly appreciated Jon, couldn’t have done it without all of Madcow’s knowledge!
@GarcBomber ha that 🤡 clown, every one today is faster than me and it makes me proud! Many guys took what I had and brought it to the next level.

Always gotta hush the twin guys up! Those have a pretty firm hold on 500' grass, but they seem to run out of steam shortly after that
That orange cone was getting pretty close....
Great run!!
Had to let off on 2 of 4 runs, 30mph wind left to right and the ice was naturally sloped that way 😂
Yea I saw that too.
Pulls to right.
Needs an alignment adjusted to over 110 mph. 😅😅😅
Awsome sled, had the stock 800 twin and was a snappy trail sled. Didn't have the arm stretching torque my triples had.
It’s the 120degree firing order and sound for me, the modern twins definitely make similar power!

There was a 20-30mph left to right breeze and the ice was naturally sloped that way also. 2 other runs I did have to let off due to the skis danglin’
DId you had traction or it spinned a lot?
On the radar run it spun at least 330’ according to GPS. It hooked well on the initial test 0-60mph

I had a 2004 Blair Morgan 800 skidoo had it on GPS 117 miles an hour that was a fast 800

Obviously custom but that Red/white/blue scheme has to go. Anything in the sports world that color is horrible looking

looks like plowed snow on a lake
I did 125 on my 2000 xcr stock pipes
Maybe on the dream’ o meter 👌

Al of that was track spin
Dragy is accurate within .01
If this stock no way
