BROOOOO! I just wanna thank you for this video ❤️, my 03 S500 had this issue for 4 years and I gave up but saw this video and followed your steps. I almost cried when I saw that AC off light switch. I’ve had to drive in 108 degree California weather without my AC. Thank you a thousand times man . Defiantly following your channel
Thanks a bunch for watching my video and taking the time to comment. Glad you were able to have your AC kick on. It is possible you need some freon in the system depending on what code you had, stay cool and enjoy the car!
Thank you so much for this! My EC light was stuck on which caused warm air to constantly come through my 2000 s430. I followed your instructions and erased the error code within a couple minutes. Air is cold flowing now that the EC button light isn’t stuck on any more!
Thanks a bunch for watching my video and taking the time to comment. Glad the code reset helped. You want to keep in mind that the car did have a fault code so you may want to check want the code was related too, such as low refrigerant. Please share an update, thanks a bunch.
You’re welcome and thanks for watching my video and taking the time to comment. It’s possible you need to recharge the freon in the AC system as well. Please share an update, thanks.
Very good video and easy to understand. My Dad has a 2004 s430 and he's saying the AC red light remains on, which means the AC is off. And he says the AC won't turn on, red light remains solid on. I'm going to follow your instructions to get the error codes and maybe try clearing them too. I suspect it might be running low on AC fluid and need recharging, but he says if that were it then the red light is supposed to flash meaning it is low, but it's not flashing it is solid, the red light just won't turn off.
It is working! Awesome! My Dad's s430 had one error code 1256 which means "Evaporator Core Temperature Sensor Front Compartment (B10/6)". I cleared the code and his AC started working again immediately. Thank you sir.
Hey Benny T thanks for watching my video and for sharing the update on your diagnostics. Glad to hear that your AC is working again, it is always good to check the Freon levels when the system is operating. Thanks again for taking the time to update in the comment section it is greatly appreciated and inspiring, enjoy the cool air, thanks again.

hello. my ac is blowing hot air and it was fine last night. i did what you said and i have no errors. my ac doesn’t seem to be powering on but i don’t know bc the ac off button is still off
Thanks a bunch for watching my video and taking the time to comment. Are you getting no air blowing inside whatsoever? If so you may want to check your blower motor, along with the blower motor resistor and any associate fuses. Please share an update, thanks.
Hi on my S350, when on auto, A/C on there is cool air blowing from central vents but right hand side (driver side as is UK model) blows hot air? Also how to adjust temperature that blow on down side of car Thank you
Hey ALIN ZAHARIE thanks for watching my video and for the great question. I personally in a hot and cold issue on these Mercedes-Benz would always Google search, (year) Mercedes S350 duo valve. This in my experience tends to be the first solution, followed by checking if the actual climate control unit was the issue by swapping from a donor to temporarily see if the same exact issue was present. Also what trouble codes do you have stored on the climate control module? Thanks for any updates.
@ALIN ZAHARIE Also try giving the duo valve a tap with the top of a screw driver the, the plastic end while the system is active to see if you can get it to work for a few as the plunger tends to be stuck inside or malfunction. Thanks again looking forward to and update, also make sure to check your Freon levels.
Have a 2001 s500 mercedes benz a/c runs for a while then just stops blowing but buttons remains on . just doesn't blow then i wait a little with a/c off then it starts again after. While shuts off again blowing..What could be the issue everything else points to a blower regulator?
Hey bladimirbetancur327 thanks for watching my video. Did you run the diagnostics, were there any codes stored? If you run the heat does it stop blowing like with the a/c? If so then I personally would look into the regulator. Please update with new diagnostics.
Did you try the hot air blowing and seeing if it turns off? Take a look at Nr. 07 on the ACC diagnostic and see what your should be around 14 please share your value with the car running not moving.
Thanks a bunch for watching my video and taking the time to comment. I am not sure what model MB you have, but you may want to Google search, Check DUO valve heat Mercedes W220. Please share an update, thanks.
Hey Jesse R thanks for watching my video and for the great question. To the best of my knowledge if the climate control unit looks the same the diagnostics will be the same. The W211 does not have the same buttons if I recall, you would most likely need a scanner to get the codes, one with advance diagnostics to read all modules. Please share an update what is the issue with your W211 ACC climate control unit? Thanks a bunch for any update.
@@WheelsTips will do. I tried clearing the codes and I think I'm a have to reset the memory.. I was recommended not to reset the system by disconnecting the battery because of how many electrical stuff that is hooked up. Clutch is spinning but the refrigerant doesnt get sucked in. It had a low refrigerant code.
@@kraze888 I would try to clear the codes in the ACC module when you are ready to add to the system. After clearing the codes I would set up to receive the refill and activate accordingly. Looking forward to an update, thanks.

My 2002 S500 is having this strange problem where the air will randomly cut on by itself intermittently and then cut off; out the rear vents. While my car is turned off.
Hey Fillywardo thanks for watching my video. In my opinion I have experienced the actual climate control unit needing repair. In my opinion, intermittent issues most often were related to failing electronics. Please share your diagnostics with us.

Hey francesca mcgeorge thanks for watching my video. In my opinion you may have an issue with the freon levels, compressor itself or the climate control unit itself. There's too parts there's something called a resistent and the blower is connected to that so since both parts are connected we just replaced the whole thing instead off separating them.
