People have a better time in person because of more social cues they can pick up on. Obviously they enjoy each other’s company and it’s stimulating the conversation.
I love how Dana laughs at David’s sound effects. Also, love the new favorite sound effect echo in mountain range.

It’s probably fine to have politics if you’re respectful and fair in your views, the left just never is so it’s heated stuff up a lot. It’s I think the attitude behind it, the smug elites it leftist attitude towards anyone not in their group. Dana has defended Trump a bit in terms of some of the stuff he did in office not saying he’s this or that as that gets people attacked by the very powerful cancel obsessed left but clearly neither of them have derangement syndrome and perspective wise to at least some degree do come from poor white families not elitist New York or LA heritage.
Same somewhat with Nate bergatze. He comes from the south and said he faced nothing but hatred and bigotry in liberal areas. They are by far the most bigoted people on planet earth and yet they act like they’re the tolerant ones. It’s crazy. They will to your face discriminate against you and call you horrible things you and everyone you know is and grew up with and then be shocked you don’t like them.
I think it’s fine if what seem like none extreme leftists show their views for once, far leftists get to scream it nonstop. The chick from that one big sitcom Sabrina tried to even slightly say she was conservative and got ripped for it, she has to secretly be conservative and other secret conservatives had to tell her that. That’s stupid. Only when it’s a middle right or fully conservative view is it suddenly hey let’s all be non political here. I listened to Conan’s show which was very funny but the slipping in of leftist dogma just got too much between the aren’t booster shots so fun and awesome and the hey any right wing Supreme Court members don’t they suck am I right and then of course eventual isn’t orange man bad rhetoric in little bits. That one is a shame too as Conan is very funny and I think his staff is actually worse with it then he is but he’s not great really particularly on the vax front they all act like oh I’m gonna just make an innocent joke that is clearly advocating for getting a vax burr did the same thing and it’s so forced and awkward and extremely horrible to push. There’s a clear motive there.

I look forward to each episode of Superfly! I enjoy how the format varies to fit the guest and or current subject matter. You are both so relatable and down to earth. I’ve told my husband I can easily imagine sitting down to diner with both David and Dana and having the easiest, delightful conversation about anything.

Our theatre closed during covid, but we just started hauling my outdoor projector gear to show movies in random awesome spots. This weekend for the full moon, we're showing american werewolf in london on top of mt. Roosevelt. No previews!

My kid brother passed last year, when i found him his 2 kitties were snuggled up to his body, i always heard that cats eat their owners thing and i was worried about what id see,, but they were out of food for a whole weekend and never touched em. A little dark, but it actually made me feel better.

@@DankDragon62 yeah, he just had a big smile, looked like he was sleepin with his kitty cats on his chest like he always did., his TV was still on, he was watching a season of that 70s show on DVD, just looked like he'd fallen asleep and the menu screen popped up in the night. Nothing gruesome. His cats had a whole weekend with him, it looked like they were snuggling and waiting for him to wake up
I like to think my babies would wonder what was wrong and why I hadn't gotten up to feed them. Then find I'd passed and stayed with me in their grief. ❤ but probably only waiting for food.

David, I won’t forget meeting you at The Grove in 2009, while you were looking at the giant Christmas tree and the imitation snow falling everywhere. The fact that I could tell you how much I enjoyed “And you are?” was just the best. You chuckling with me made me smile for a long time!

I just discovered this channel 2 hours ago, though I'm not adding this tidbit to the example, but I am floored. It's not their fault, not blasting anybody, every channel is just doing what they have been taught or told or follow the flow. Though 98% of the channels my team & I review are in the same boat, this channel's numbers in particular is astonishing.

I've always said Spade is like a human cartoon, with his incredible understated sound effects. One of the funniest things he does, and you either have that gift or ya dont.

David...I watched the rally live, too, and my reaction and impressions were the same as yours exactly. People wonder why Trump did the "fight" gesture. Yes, it was very possible he was fatally injured and didn't even know it yet and he knew that. Happens more than we know. Love the podcast so much! So interesting every time. Great guests. Funny that the secret service agent that was interviewed suggested there would be over 100 agents. I have seen an alternate interview with another secret service agent that claims they would be lucky to have above 30. His reasoning is heavy budget constraints, and a Severe lack of resources provided. That's the Secret Service would ask for over 100 men, and they would be denied that request.
When my daughter was little she was creeped out by E.T. She said he looked sweaty. He's not totally dry.
When he's all pale and almost dead by the water he's very very creepy. And moist.

My niece (when she was little) and I used to watch 'Master of Disguise' a lot. She particularly enjoyed the 'Turtle Man.' She's now 22, in love & working as a phlebotomist. So proud of this kid! 😀

I know it’s cliche, but I really do love listening to both of you! I laugh out loud and enjoy the topics, the banter, the impressions and sometimes the sarcasm. David, I’m crazy about your side mouth comments….i.e. ‘let’s go to a clip’, let’s go to the phones’ and the sound effects are the best. Timing is so key and you guys have down pat! Dana, love, love the impressions and your thoughtfulness and how you present alternative scenarios to situations or stories. I look forward to Friday for Superfly on the Wall! The dog would definitely eat your face first. The dog would panic why you're not waking up, get super emotional and then claw your face off. Thats Based on actual news story. The woman took too many muscle relaxers and her dog clawed her face off. The cat wouldnt give a shyt. Cat would wait atleast a few days and then when shes desperately hungry, then they'll take a taste of your toes. Guaranteed those toes are going first. Like the chicken nuggets of the human body

2:38 DANA. this is my first time watching the pod, love you both. 2:38 I tripped on acid once and the idea youre describing for "A Loud Place 2" was my reality for about 6 hours. I thought I was in hell and I had to yell/scream/make noise or the devil could get close to me if I was quiet. I screamed at my friends to play my favorite 69 songs, I rapped, cried, and yelled until I could see again.
These guys always make me actually laugh out loud (i.e., LOL), which I rarely do----supernaturally funny. : - )
