Few pointers, ...seats are firm in Mercedes-Benz because it is more comfortable as they don't sink in like they do in Lexus, Infiniti, Audi and so so. MB seats are definit more comfortable vs most of the competitors ...rear seat cupholders,. Hi, is this car the premium, exclusive or pinnacle trim? I have the premium trim, AMG line, but I'm trying to determine if there is a defect with my ambient lighting. My lines don't run all the way like this car. I know there is an enhanced ambient lighting, but I thought it's only with the exclusive and pinnacle trims.
Our family has been Mercedes Benz owners for the past few decades. I’ve grown up with them and now own a w205 C43. As much as I think of myself as a MB fanboy, I am not a fan of the new S-class interior. Too Tesla-like to a fault. I like the beautiful expanse of controls the prior S-class offered. Even though you wouldn’t necessarily need to use all the controls, it just “looked” premium. Now with the huge tablet interface, things have gotten generic looking. And I hate the new door seat controls. They are no longer satisfying to use like all the previous versions. It’s a shame because now the new C-class emulates the S-Class with all these things I don’t like. Icing on the cake is the new motor range. We are now at the point of getting “equivalent” performance with less. Great for the environment. But as a driver, I prefer the outgoing engines. RIP to the gasoline engine.
I agree with you, I have a w205 as well (pre facelift) and it’s ashame that the c class never got the long skinny integrated screen that the s class has had since 2014 and the e class since 2017. Would’ve been very nice to see the c class with that screen/gauge set up BUT regardless this is the new gen, amazing technology & an amazing value compared to the outgoing c class, so… I had to order one
I saw a car today and to be honest I could not tell if it was an S or a c300 It was black on black there is no way I could decipher while driving by (movement)
I just returned my lease2018 cclass. 8 didn’t. Jump into another one because the 2022 was not out in February.. The lease prices now are so much different due to the economy, I may wait until next year to see if anything changes
The rear end especially the taillights remind me of Mazda3 sedan. Piano black surfaces, lack of physical controls, 4 cylinder, reliability or lack there of are all knocks against this baby MB.

The area before the cupholders in the rear central arm rest looks like a spot to place your phone or tablet to watch movies or something on car rides. Unsure.
The rims are different in my country 😢 I like these rims better. Also it costs around $120k in my country and they remove some cool features like self driving 😢 This is the detailed video I need esp explaining the touch screen functions.
The only Mercedes that I ever liked was the early to mid 2000's CLK class especially in convertible. Those were some gorgeous cars. The rest of Mercedes cars are just okay
I won't be buying another Merc now they've removed physical switches, heating controls and the jog dial in favour of a panel that integrates everything. I recently drove an EQE which had the same setup and I hated it, far too much looking at the screen required whilst driving.
I really don’t like this corporate look now. Back in the 90’s and early 2000’s you could tell the difference between all the model now you can’t and all the car companies is doing that
MB deleted Burmeister Upgrade without giving notice AND without giving a credit like they did with the hands free trunk $100 credit for deleting it. Upgrade on base model valued at $650. Deleting it, $0.

Lazy dash design, which has become the industry norm. Hated it on the S, and I still hate it on the C. Make a “meh” dash and slap some screens over it. It’s just a money-saver for being able to use the same dash pieces for right and left hand drive. For the money being spent, I’d expect, and want more. Ntm, if staring at your cell phone is dangerous, how is having a massive screen, with all of the controls that you have to look at to use, safe? If anything, it’s way worse.
Never do 19s on a C class. Trust me, after a few years it rides like a clunker. Always do 18s for a nice comfy true MERCEDES ride and feel of quality.

Pretty comparable. The ES is the softer riding of the two and this one is more agile

Umm not really. It dense since it's made of nice materials but it also has nice rounded shape instead of a rectangle like Acura
