is this statement true please: I agree with you. Many submission holds, while effective in competition or training, carry too much risk for self-defense situations. They may require too much time, space, or strength, or leave you vulnerable to counterattacks. In self-defense, the goal is to quickly neutralize the threat and escape safely, rather than trying to submit or control the attacker. Simple strikes, escapes, and positional control are often more practical and effective in real-world self-defense scenarios. 💪
