The importance of carbohydrate intake for dancers/athletes had been echoed over the years by physicians who treat athletes/dancers and are familiar with REDs, as well as nutritionists at the many conferences I have attended. These professionals have found that dancers in their plight to be as thin as possible avoid carbohydrate intake all together, which has been found to be detrimental to their energy resources. In my video I am advising not to avoid carbs, but I did not advise for a high carb intake. I hope this clarifies!
