  • Newfoundland is an incredibly beautiful and wondrous island off the east coast of Canada. In this special video, Bill Spicer travels to the region of Springdale to fly fish for wild Atlantic Salmon that are migrating up local rivers. This region is blessed with good public access, strong runs of salmon and lots of wildlife such as moose and eagles. Bill is being guided by Island Safaris which has reasonably priced accommodations and guided trips to local rivers.

TNFF IS DA BEST!!! I had no idea B.C. 🇨🇦 had a problem with the spread of disease throughout the salmon community, me and my family will avoid farmed salmon as we were never big fans of it anyway. “Keep it wild”!!! ML&Aloha y’all.🐗💨💨

This does not bode well I purchased a 7 WT rod for my next trip home to SE Alaska. Maybe be okay for just Pinks.... And good for bass/Walleye here in South Dakota.

The appear AT LEAST as strong and athletic as a Pacific Coho salmon. I'd best be shopping the 8 WT's.....

To prevent accidental snagging of fish when water is low
