Other than Brett Favre, Peyton Manning had the longest Iron Man streak --
Favre - 297 Games Straight as starter
Manning -- 208 Games as starter straight.
People make the argument that Tom Brady is better than Peyton
Tom Brady -- 5 for 8 in SB games --- Billecheck as Coach --- super genius
Supreme Defenses behind him; Very solid Running game backing him up. HOF kicker and defenders
Handicaps -- No HOF and very few Pro bowl receivers
Peyton -- 2 for 4 in SB games -- average coaching except for Tony Dungey (only great coach he ever had)
HOF receivers -- 2: Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne
Running support -- 6 years or so of Edgerin James -- Pro bowler
Handicaps --- 1. No consistent Coach or system 2. Crappy Defenses that were below average
    3. No great Running game after James left 4. In Denver -- only 1 probowl receiver -- he made the
other receivers there into pro bowlers
When Tom Brady gets great pro-bowl receivers like Randy Moss, he can't win -- must have been more on the defense and kicker huh ?
When Peyton Manning Loses great run support like Edgerin James -- SUPERBOWL!!! When he gets any kind of good defense at all like 2015 Denver --SUPERBOWL. Defense wins championships -- Denver learned that the hard way from Seattle. Then they taught that lesson to Cam Newton.

@@babyjay2932 that's a joke Tom Brady is way better and a lot more clutch in big games there is no comparison anymore they both played the same amount of games and seasons but Tom Brady has 3 times the wins in the superbowls and two times the superbowls twice as many playoff wins with less losses 1 4th the one and dones in the playoffs and he has 237 wins all together to p manning 200 in that same time frame that's 3 more seasons of wins and he has 80 plus less interceptions then p manning with almost the same amount of touchdowns and yards and he didnt play half his games in a dome when p manning plays outta the dome his yards and touchdowns go down quite a bit and post season and playoff combined he is way ahead of him with yards and touchdowns and still adding to this day

While for nascar and indycar yeah indy 500 is the biggest race but the winners does not represent indy so i would say indy WAS NOT on the sport map before peyton come. Peyton Manning is the GOAT
We're not talking about team accomplishments here we're talking about greatness
I just can't stand people saying Tom Brady is better just because he has more rings
Of course it's important to evaluate your team but Peyton evaluated the Colts more than Brady the Pats
Greatness means how good they were individually and prime Peyton beats out prime Tom in every category
He could throw the ball more accurate and longer than Tom Brady, he could read defenses better than Tom (even though that was what Brady could do best too), he had about the same pocket awareness as Brady I'd say and he was even a little bit more mobile.
If someone comes and says that Brady has more passing yards and TDs then Peyton you're not looking at the facts. Brady played more seasons than Peyton of course he's going to have better career stats. If you take Mitch Trubisky's stats from the 3 years he played he's going to have more yards and TDs than Pat Mahomes in the 2 years he played in does that make him better? Of course not! The only thing you can take from that is that Brady was able to play longer. Manning holds the record for most yards and TDs in a season that is more important than the entire career if you're not looking at the length of the career
Now if you're saying Tom Brady is better than Peyton because he's more clutch then stfu. When we're not counting the first three of Brady's SBs (because let's be real he was a game manager back there that was carried by an amazing defense) he's 3:3 in the SB. That's not that good. When we count everything after 2004 the two of them have a record of 7:6 overall for Brady but 3:1 for Manning in the playoffs against each other (who is so clutch now)
If we're talking about leadership I think we can agree on a tie because both were great leaders
Also I think Manning was more valuable to his teams than Brady to the Pats. Think about it! The Colts were terrible without Peyton Manning in 2011 they went 2:14 (the year before 10:6) that's a drop of of 0.4821428571 winning pct. The Pats went 11:5 missing Brady in 2009 (the year before 16:0) that's a drop of of 0.3125 so a lot less.
If you want to factor in pro bowls and all pros fine: 14:14 pro bowls but 10:5 all pros for Manning
Also Peyton had success with two diffrent teams and a lot of diffrent systems. I'm not saying Bray is a producr of the system but it helped him at least
Another thing is that Peyton had probably the highest football iq ever. He picked defenses apart and called his own plays. While Brady was good in that regard he wasn't close to beeing on Peyton's level
But maybe the biggest point is Manning won 5 MVPs with less to work with then Brady
So looking at everything I just listed Peyton was better individually on the field, he had better stats, had success in diffent systems, was his own offensive cordinator, was more valuable to his team, is the record holder for MVPs and was just as clutch as Brady) that's pretty much all the should factor into greatness (if I forgot sth please let me know). So what could Brady possibly have done better then Peyton except for having a longer career and having more rings because he played on a better team (running back better, oline better, pass catchers about even, defense better except for a few years in which Mannings team could match, coaching way better)?
But I also want to say thay Brady is a really great QB in his own right and everything I said was not meant to trash him.
Also if someone says Drew Brees is better than I think I don't have to break it down because if you just look at the facts you see Peyton had a much better career (career stats only go to Brees cause he's played longer, MVP 5:0, 14:13 pro bowls (but they're a fan voting so nothing really meaningful) , 10:5 all pros, 2:1 SB, ...)
I don't think any other QB has a shot at the GOAT title but if you think it's any other QB (I don't think we should compare diffrent positions because it's hard to tell who's more dominant if you can't directly compare the two players) let me know and if you want to argue anything I said go ahead I'm all yours☺

Brady couldn't beat the Giants to save his life, but Peyton always annihilated his little brother's team. Peyton also would finish 3-1 against Brady in AFC Championship games. If the Colts defenses could get off the field, the line could have blocked, and the coaches didn't make stupid decisions, Peyton would have gotten 8 rings.
