Guys I would just like to add that they do have independent gain, volume and EQ settings for each channel. They will automatically save your settings
Big love

Can you tell us which bass preamps Mooer is coming out with?
Hi Lee
The bass preamps are still under development. We've made some great models from some really awesome bass amps but the preamp hardware needs some tweaking to get them perfect for bass.
It'll be under wraps until they're ready :)

love the ninety orange!
Originally got it to replace my Rotovibe, but it turns out I love a fast phaser into a slow phaser.
Any plans to have a dual phaser that works simularly, but in one casing?
The noise when switching the pedal on pretty much renders it useless
yes!! bass preamps with good speaker simulation would be an instant buy for me!!
Holy shit, I'd never realised you could do that with an effects loop. This means I can use the preamp of my tiny tube amp through my 100 watt solid state's speakers. I just tried it and it sounds amazing!
Love both you guys, been watching for a good two years now, but the real MVP is the editor who puts in all the sound effects lol!
I love seeing Rob and Lee doing their demos on guitars, amps, and pedals. But, we can't have them without the magical touches of Rory's editing skills.
Rob always seems to amaze me with his playing
That look on Lee's face when Rob won't let him talk...priceless.
Here's the whole list of preamps:
001. Diezel Hagen
002. Marshall JCM900
003. Koch Powertone
004. Vox AC30
005. EVH 5150
006. Fender Blues Deluxe
007. Tone King Falcon
008. Mesa Boogie MK III
009. Engl Blackmore
010. Two-Rock Coral

Love the new room, classy and fresh
love your guys channel! glad to see guitarist having fun and adding their personality to the video and guitar! always a joy to watch. keep up the great work
Robbie, I hurt for you... My son who is close to your age, recently had twins, three months premature. Three extra months of crying. They are now nine months old and I forgot how bad it could be, I truly wish you all the best! All of a sudden, it will stop but you still have a little time. Keep ya chin up my brotha, Love ya Man!
Buddy Martin the earliest a baby can be born is 7 months? Even then you have a high risk of issues?
ad1170 I can only tell you that our twins were born eleven weeks early due to complications with the mothers health. They were in incubators for two months and are totally fine.
ad1170 I was born twelve weeks premature.
I was born 2 months premature
@@ad1170 I was born with 7 months. I am fine ;) I had to spend some time in a incubator though
21: 12 the coffee mug edit was brilliant 😁
Rory is the real mvp with these edits
These videos are always so bad for my bank balance.
Ditto
Oh yes.
G.A.S. attack!
this!
the sound of these going into the power amp was fantastic!
you guys are my standards when I come to youtube looking for reviews and demos of gears. keep up the good work
i love the editing in this, the bits with the mug are jokes as fuck
Rory you fucking legend \m/
Thomas McAteer why thank you very much! 👊😜
Definitely agree, the mug tripped me the hell out! What on earth do you use to edit? Makes PP look like childsplay!
cunnerzzz Final Cut Pro X for these vids! 😀
The mug jokes were funny as hell. Please put more :)
Rory killed it on this one 😂😂😂
loving the new room and mug visual effects lol, enjoyed the review too :)
The violin bit lol.
Sounded like my anus
I love the disappearing coffee mug.
17:48 for the audio interface or direct recording guys :)
Hey Rob. I want to thank you and the captain for everything, i'm taking my guitar student guitar shopping next tuesday and i've used your videos to show her how to pick a first electric guitar!
Im a new dad too, and im missing sleeping since 10/2015!!! :D
Good luck! :D
My life ended 2013.
They sounds really good... makes me wanna get one of those. Great demo of the Mooers, thanks!
Mad respect for Rob! When my brother became a dad, playing his guitars became a veeeery rare treat. Now that his kids are a bit older, he can afford to fire up the olg Gibson again.
But knowing that Rob is going through the same exhaustion and commitment...mad props to you, sir!
The Fender-y clean sounds impressive. Also. The coffee cup exploding and re-materializing just made me laugh water through my nose. 👌
It’s so random hahahaha
Chappers is so wrecked he forgot the "GREETINGS" part of the show. For the first time ever.
Vincent Doyle Holy shit you're right!! Ha ha
The cab sim on the 5150 sounds pretty good! Thanks for the video.
Wow, Rob, what you played around 10 minutes, on the blue channel of the 5150-ish pedal was just absolutely beautiful!
Cool, how the cup vanishes, when he switches on the pedal. ;)
21:12 the coffee cup ;-)
Your animation is the best !
*applause* Hats of to you, Rob! Get any amount of rest you can, whenever you can. We'll be OK, endure until your glorious return (obviously with a badass riff going in the background)!
This is exactly what i thought mooer was missing. Great!
You guys are killing me with the cup thing 😂
Thumbs up for the disappearing coffee mug magic stomp! Another great video guys! Cheers!
Wow background remodel looks nice ! Love Andertons ! I want a t-shirt please!!!
I'm listening this on my tv through my 5.1 home cinema thingy and the cab sim sounds totally okay to me!
I like the idea with the two channels!
Good pedals, great editing!
I love the idea of these, add a classic preamp to a more attainable tube power amp.
I heard these minis sound better in other places and I can't shake the feeling you're not getting the most out of them.
They sound pretty good for what they are. I can see the value of bringing one as an amp backup to the gig.
Thank you guys for the honest reviews. I understand that you own a shop, but I'm always a little curious about channels where everything they review is the absolute best, most accurate everything. Thank you.
flame me if you want but the pedals sound great through the direct in with cab emulation.
I'm loving what Mooer are doing ... I've been slowly collecting a few of them over the last year or so and some of them are awesome! The hustle drive, dark secret and the green mile are fantastic pedals ... so much so I've stopped using the drive chanels on my blackstar HT100 and run these through the clean chanel instead. I just picked up the little "wahter" which is fantastic!!
you rock rob!!! keep up the awesome work! !!!!!
so far I have the rumble drive and the echoizer -both are great and make my fender blues deluxe reissue really come alive !
the high gain sounds fun and I'd pick one up (5150) just for that.
great, honest video guys.
You guys are great, I can imagine that this is entertaining even for non guitarplayers :-)
For the price... and function... this is a good starting point to have a direct system... especially for poor guys like moi :(
Great videos and I love the editing **SMASH** haha
I love the fact that you reviewed a product that you didn't love.
Oh man I want that 5150 one. Really dig that one.
I think the direct sound is pretty damn good, actually!
God dammit, great editing as always.
Your playing around 9:33 was really nice Rob.
playing was on point today Chappers!
I liked them the most when being used as preamps. Straight to a power amp.
I have one of these three 002. Couple of things I have noticed:
1. They need careful tweaking to get the most out of them.
2. Really require 300mA from your power supply or the audio may cut out.
3. A little reverb always on either on your board or FOH will really help these sound the best with the inbuilt cabsim.
4. Changing channel happens when the switch clicks up, not down, so you have to take that into account.
5. Popping sound does not occur for me going direct (have not tried with an amp)
Know this young fellas, one day those nights are cherished memories
Perfect for one channel amps as well!
just get the Boss AB switching pedal and then hook loop A into the frontend of your amp and hook loop B into one of these and into the FX return.
Just what I needed, cuz the Fender one sounds kinda nice and my Orange can't do cleans very well :)
Awesome review 🔥🔥 I fell in love with these pedals, and i plan on getting the 001 diesel or the 009 blacknight. I wanted to ask you guys, if your amp doesn't have a fx loop can you run it threw the front of the amp? The only thing I hear wrong is the volume when running it threw the front. But when u turn up the volume on the amp or pedal, it sounds just as good as running it threw the fx loop
Coming though my TV the cab emulation sound great
Rory is having a lot of fun with that mug haha
@ 11:25 the channel eqs are saved when you switch back and forth, so you actually do have separate controls for each' channel's eq!
Did you get a new camera or just better lighting? The video quality has gone up again. Great work.
woah nice new room!
Hang in there, Rob! It does get easier, even babies with colic get better.
Whatever you do, breathe easy, and focus when you're doing anything. I didn't when my first girl was very young. Ran a rental car right into a telephone pole. Luckily, no one hurt, but the experience haunts me to this day.
All the best to you and your family and friends.
Intriguing. While I wouldn't base my sound around one of these, I can see several uses for them as an emergency backup. One of these could easily be a gig saver if your main amp dies. Also, having listened to the cab-sim tone through my stereo, while it's not going to replace a carefully crafted software sim, for a quick-and-dirty "get the idea down" recording, it's perfectly usable...
The Boogie one in the loop might be the perfect answer to the bad drive channel in a Roland JC.
21:00 couldn't agree more with the capt'n on this fact !
I now have the 005 and compared throughout a lot of VST, because I used to be a VST junkie.
One great advantage of this pedal is that the latency is way below of what my pc kicks out latencywise, which already is at 10 ms at max. The thing is, you can't really hear the delay, but kind of feel it. It lacks a direct attack.
This is most of solved by the pedal, which is a very cool thing for me.
Also, the 005 proves to have some very "valve" type feel to it. It responds very well attackwise, very nice.
I personally have found my alternative to VSTs. I would say a good combination is best, but for now I am using the pedal with integrated cab sim only, and its a lot of fun.
Using a tubescreamer TS7 with Keeley Mod done to the circuit, it very depends on the guitar also, if the 005 will respond in a rich, harmonic way or let its gain structure either be "destroyed" and washued up by the TS driving it.
For me, I'd give 8 - 9 starts out of 10. The cab sim is a bit muddy, but Mooer has plans one releasing kind of an IR pedal, they told me via facebook, asking if the TresCab simulation has different speaker types than the micropreamp have.
Have you guys ever done a "Active Pickup Guitar" exhibition? I'd love to see one.
I know what a couple of the other pedals are based on the video Ola did, 1 is a Engl and another is based on a Diezel, if i find anymore i'll add them
can you please do in depth reviews and demos of the new chapman range? we were ultimately only teased by the previous videos we've had! Thank you!
The only "mooer" I've got is my cow of a wife Peggy.
Hank Hill Oh my god😭😂
Hank Hill is she still huffing propane?
Hank Hill
You win the internet ;-)
Michael Atkinson she would absorb the shock
The videos are all good, but I find I'm starting to watch them for the editing more than anything else
When you run a pedal in the fx return of the amp, does it take over all the EQ therefore the amp's front knobs don't work any longer? And all the EQ is done on the preamp pedal?
Would love to see a comparison between these pedals and the amps they're based on :). Even if its a hella long video :P
Great video! Still waiting for the Epiphone relic video and guitar olympics :D
Hello, which of these Mooer Preamp simulates the Bogner Atma amplifier? Thank you!
the editing in this video is great hahaha
I'd like to see a video with these preamps used with the mooer radar cab simulator direct into p.a. or logic.
Are these out yet? I've been dying to get hold of them
Would be curious to hear how these sound compared to Tech21 or Joyo amp sim pedals
Anyone else notice the vanishing mug? :p
Great video to help make my mind up but I wonder what they sound like in an effects loop
I think these sound pretty great for what they are and cost indeed. - A very nice tool to just throw in some sound-shaping that could completely change it up, more so than just a different gain-pedal or equalizer. - It's like a plug-in in a box, and that's not a bad thing if they put in the right chips and programming. - It would be a sham(e) if they were more like 150 Pounds or more, but I think this is pretty cool if you just want a flavor-changer, and you have a couple to choose from. - It would be even cooler if they'd make like a double-trouble version for like 125 Pounds or something.
Liking the new-look studio
Cool video, glad you're not letting the internet critics get to you. I imagine most of them have yet to cut their teeth but have opinions on every aspect of the video. Hope to see more cool stuff, good luck with the family
You can use the pedal direct to the sound card as a preamp without the cabinet emulation and use Impulse Responses from other brands.
Began playing guitar after xmas and have a question about scales:
Are the patterns for the minor pentatonic scales same for each key but played from a different position on the fretboard?
"comme ça" hahah ! Good french Lee.
what about a clean setting being pushed by overdrive/distortion pedals? on those micropreamps of course
Congrats on having a little Chapman!!
I'd definitely also like to hear these with IRs, or with something like a torpedo cab or any of the other new smorgasbord of cab emu pedals now available.
They make a mooer IR pedal called the Radar that allows 3rd party IR loading. It also is a power amp with different power amp sims loaded (6L6, EL83/34, the usual culprits) in it and they're bypassable...making is also a standalone IR pedal at the end of your pedal chain.
Why did you have to play on the neck and middle position the whole video when you get mesa/5150 preamps.. sighh
because he had set up the middle position as a lead sound (ie with the bridge pickup selected more than the neck, but inn his case a mixture of the two) and then the neck pickup selector for a rhythm clean sound ... you can do that with three way selectors on a gibbo
So one of these and an EHX Magnum 44 and you've got a backup amp for £230 that'll fit in your gigbag.
What Les Paul was it that Lee was using? The finish is outstanding!!
