Turned out i have a wired xbox one controller

My new Xbox series x/controller was working fine. But then once I connected it to my PC the wireless stopped working. Now it won't turn on at all unless connected to usb

i was playing normally yesterday and for no reason it turned off. the batteries are fully recharged and i comnected it with a usb cable to the console wich always worked but nope nothing.

What if you just bought a battery pack and it doesn't light up to show it's charging? I've tried a wall socket and the Xbox itself but no light unless it's plugged directly into Xbox while it's on. Not ideal.

What if the controller doesn't power on with any batteries, battery packs, USB connection?

same issue. xbox controller doesn't turn on and vibrate upon connecting a cable. And btw the controller heats up shortly after you connect it to a cable or put batteries in it. So far as googling, I think is a board issue.

@@staytruog Hey! Yes, we returned it to the seller and gave us a new one. They did confirm its a board issue and they have to open it and replace one of the boards. No other way to fix it I assume. Thanks for the follow up

I updated the controller and when i unplugged the cable it didnt work then i changed the batteries and it turned on thanks 👍
