You know Texas is starting to get really good again when you know the names of a lot of their players and you don’t even watch their games. I am so pleased for this Texas team and for the Big 12 record against the SEC. I, like most of the rest of us didn't think that Texas would win, and I can't think of one pundit who predicted a Longhorn victory, but this was a pretty good beatdown--and pretty convincing. We've become so used to soft Longhorn teams that we didn't recognize Tom Herman's steadily improving toughness teaching program. Little by little, step by step, recruiting class by recruiting class, he is bringing this program back to and ahead of anything that's ever been there before. I look forward to what hopefully lies ahead.
