MrMoviesandstuff Actually it is pretty underrated - not many people saw it upon release and it was considered a box office flop. People assumed it would be bad, and the movie had a severe lack of advertisement funding.
For years I never watched Tom Cruise flicks because of things I heard. Edge of Tomorrow was one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. Been watching his films non stop now. Rogue Nation was unreal. Tom Cruise is an unbelievable star, drastically entertaining, and does every thing to the highest degree. Hope he has many more movies left

In the movie, there is a mission which has been presented as impossible. Ethan Hunt has to dive into the water and hold his breath for three minutes to execute his task. Yet, Tom Cruise said he was trained to hold his breath for 6 minutes during the takes *Blows my mind*
This is why Tom Cruise is one of my all time favorite actors. He just gives his all every time he is putting on a show.

Tom Cruise is the man! All his movies are awesome. Not a bad one in the lot. I also noticed that other actors who costar in a Tom Cruise seem to get bigger roles in other films afterward. Tom Cruise got that midas touch and anyone starring in a movie with him benefits from it.

I just saw an interview with Jon Stewart who is awesome of course and also 53 yrs old. He is four months younger than Cruise yet looks ten years older. The difference is cigarettes and exercise. Jon smokes, doesn't exercise, Cruise doesn't smoke or drink and is still crazy fit.

I think Tom Cruise is an amazing actor and I find it astounding that he does all of his own stunts! I saw mission impossible rouge nation and it was an excellent movie. So is Jerry Maguire and The edge of tomorrow so if you haven't seen them yet I definitely recommend them! Especially Mission impossible! And he is incredibly gorgeous and seems like an awesome guy I wish I could meet him!😃❤️

Cruise just gets better and better, I feel that he is really at the top of his career right now and it just keeps going. The last three movies of Oblivion, Jack Reacher and Edge of Tomorrow were just awesome. Cruise is really good in Sci fi as well. He is the consumate professional and you can see that energy and passion for his work. It flows through his movies.

When I saw MI: Rogue Nation the first thing that came to my mind was that Cruise really puts efforts into pretty much everything he does, he's done that for the past decades, and no one can replace him in the job that he does.
He looks so young with that hairstyle. Like he just turned 30.
That's pretty impressive if he can actually hold his breath for 6mins. The average healthy person can only hold their breath for 2 mins tops.

HezyFoShizy It's a mental block not physical. A little bit of training goes a long, long way... Jamie O'Brian (pro surfer) did a bit on it for Red Bull not long ago. They went from being able to hold their breath for a couple minutes to anywhere from 6-10+ in a matter of a couple days
PrimeGribbs Not without the heart stopping and brain cells dying. It takes 5 minutes without oxygen to the brain for someone to 'officially' die. It only takes 38 seconds to drown. It's just not physically possible to do a stunt like that.
Like I said: a little training goes a long way. For the average person five minutes may be the max but not for trained surfers, free divers etc. The world record free dive is over 20 minutes if I remember correctly
You can't train your body to live without oxygen. Its like trying to live without a heart or lungs: physically impossible.
