That was definitely interesting! Reminded me of when my husband decided to take a shortcut through the mountains of N. CAROLINA with a loaded car hauler. Kinda scary looking over the egde that day! Good job!!!
Sure enjoy your videos! I had to quit hauling oversize in 2015, because of my health. My last truck was a 2012 4900 Western Star. Cummins & 13 speed. Thanks for taking us along!
You did awesome beautiful job to handle heavy duty surrounding you and your co workers!! No wonder I really love watch you how to drive those wide turns !! Drive safe out there everyday! God bless you!! Take care
Hi, feel the engine working as an Driver too, it looks so easy but is hard and good work of all team-members, thanks for your vids, they are amazing, best regards from southwest of Germany, Mike 💪🤙
@Lucky Banana Heavy Haul…Howdy Doug, you sure are smooth on gear shifting that beast, up hill, loaded….you sure make it look easy….. I used drive 3500 gallons of Jet A fuel in the mountains of San Diego County in a 8 speed straight truck….was fun (not)….I sure wasn’t as smooth as you. What was the gvwr ? Do you ever travel west on I-90 through southern Montana ? Thanks again for the cool videos. Looks like another job well done.
you make it look easy! nicely done. i like to hear the audio between all of you. much easier for you when it's in english rather than french with subtitles!
The language isn’t really my choice. It depends on which escorts I’m working with that week. On this video you actually hear that my lead escort is English and my rear escort is French.

Just started watching your videos a couple of weeks back. I'm a retired trucker and can appreciate what you do. I was wondering if you could give some details about the tractor. Specifically engine, trans, and rears gear ratio.
You can see it on either side of the vehicle, and momentarily behind the load on the right-hand side looking backward. But, then again you can see the downward progression as you are traversing down that road.
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407P s I’m taking about rt 33I ran West Virginia for 10 years feel lucky you don’t have to go from Elkins to Harrisonburg in the snow ❄️ but the people are the best I’ve ever known. Talk to you later hero🤗
Wish this one would have been a little longer time wise. Just started following you a couple of weeks ago. The large tubes you were hauling, were they part of the towers for wind turbines? Stay safe and keep the videos coming.
I know you being that calm cool professional that you are, that was probably easy peezy! But do you get a little nervous sometimes whenever you encounter stuff like that? 🤔
You can’t speak French in West Virginia, you have to speak hillbilly, over yonder=30 miles, just what I’ve picked up. Poke is a sack, tote is to carry, pack is to carry also. Lol we do a lot of work in wv, good people, just having fun! lol

Wild, wonderful West Virginia! Their state motto for many reasons. Thanks for the great views!
You handled that professionally.

Awesome videos!
Uk truck fan.
Thank you ✌️
Funny how the state couldn't coordinate the construction zone!
Good video!
Story of my life 🤪
Thanks ✌️
My worst nightmare was to come up on construction that was not told to me about when the state gave me the route, and you only have inches to spare
I always say it only starts getting interesting when it doesn’t pass 🤣✌️

Of course they routed you through a construction zone 😮

You got to Love(sarcasm) when they route you on a two lane road with construction.
🤣 if it only happened once in a while 🤪

It’s nothing too crazy.
Cummins 565, 18 speed, 3.90 ratio, 14,600 steer, 46,000 rears
Greetings from southern WV
So this video hits close to home! Lol
Why is it that grades on a curve are so much tougher that on a straight away?
PS: I didn't know W.Virginia had anything but steeper grades!!
I assume you're based in Canada?
Greetings from retired driver UK
Yes from Quebec. Love hearing from people across the pond. Thanks for following ✌️

You know Doug if they flattened West Virginia it would probably as big as Texas 😅
Haha I never heard that one yet! 🤣

Salut, Hi 👋
I love your videos
👍👍👍
8 percent up or down is the bottom of the gear box

I stay pretty calm until we actually start breaking stuff. Then I get excited lol

What gear where you in going up the hill?
It looks steep in video to me, what is it 8+%.?
I don’t know the percentage. It was a good pull but not crazy.
Sign the other way said 9%

Bom dia irmão parabéns por mais um show e de todas as palavras e frases que você falou só entendi, oeste Virginia e vamos kkkkkkkkkk
🤣🤣🤣
It sucks trying to pull those cones out from between the duels
Hahaha! ✌️
You didn't show going over the gorge on the big bridge. So I'll just ask, did you look down? He-He
I didnt notice a big gorge so maybe we didn’t pass there
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 I misread the map on the video. The gorge is located on US 19 which exits south of Clarksburg on I 79 down to I 77
What was your final destination ?
