I love how they always do the breath test last...like all those other tests matter if you blow over a .08
Because the PBT is inadmissable in court. We do it last because we don't want it to influence how we judge the actual field sobriety tests (which are admissable in court.) The PBT is just an extra tool to prove P.C, but you can't solely rely on it.
Some people cant drive even if in the legal area.
Greg Bach I did not know that...I would have thought the breathalyzer would be the go to before the physical tests.
Little known fact is that the breathilzer portion of the impaiment field test accounts for 90% of your overall grade
To add to the others, the FST is used to see if you're physically and/or mentally impaired. Some drugs can effect certain aspects of the test.

I went golfing and had mine in the trunk in my golf bag and was going home and got pulled over, yes he looked at me strange when I said it was in the trunk. I asked why I was being stopped he said a car the same make and model, color got stolen, I said really this is a 1993 then he said I didn't use my turn signal.......

Even if you pass the tests, they most likely will still arrest you. At least here in AZ they do. I had it happen to me. Officer told me I passed all FST’s, did not have me do a breathalyzer, and then he placed me under arrest to take me to the station for a blood draw. I had not drank in over 12 hours and the only reason I was pulled over was because it was my girls car and her registration was suspended and she never told me. It was a bunch of BS. I clearly was not impaired. It shouldn’t matter what the blood test shows.

Everybody knows you deny a field sobriety and opt for the breathalyzer. Field sobriety tests cam be difficult to pass even sober

I can follow the pen w/ my eyes and the one they sometimes do where u count. But the walking heel to toe and standing on one leg I flat out fail.

I got pulled for going 81 in a 45 a couple weeks ago. No doubt about it, i was drunk. Maybe a .12 or so. Passed the sobriety test with flying colors. Officer gave me a speeding ticket for 70 in a 45, sent me on my way. I woke up later the next morning still drunk.

Tulsa hasn't been on for months ( I beleive since December or January) but Sticks is frequently in the studio.. Lawrence works for the Richland County department in South Carolina.. he is on pretty much every episode just this past weekend he and his partner Mastrianni were in the studio instead of on the streets
