The ingredients contain flour, icing sugar, water, etc., You can see they roll them into dough in this video. Then you roll it into an oval shape, with the filling. It was a basically snacks in early Taiwan. Actually, I really love it haha. The rich fragrance of flour, soft maltose. I can't speak the exact words to explain, but you can try it by yourself. Don't forget that this is Taiwan, not some shack in the middle of Mainland China. So hygiene would be a huge deal; he must have washed prior to avoid contaminating the food. Food safety is no joke in East Asian countries.

這家做的是素食牛舌餅, 很好吃, 跟小時候在鹿港吃到的傳統牛舌餅味道差不多, 中間的麥芽糖酥類似太陽餅的餡那樣, 爽口不膩也不太甜, 不會有油耗味.
以前每次到秀水都會順便繞遠一點過去埔鹽買一堆回來慢慢吃.
現在秀水好像也有分店. 也可以電話訂購用宅配的, 只是傳統大節日的前後通常他們忙不過來比較不會接訂單.

我家那的是完全手工制作,手工和面,擀面杖压面上料,长度比这个长一倍,平均每10-15分出一炉。之前是1.5元两个,后来变成1元一个。
