- We have never ever stayed in a Tiny home before so this is our very first experience here in Tasmania and I think we are becoming addicted to these unique small living places.
Our off the grid, Tiny house where we stayed at in Australia: bit.ly/2pO3nBb
In our final episode here in Tasmania we have left Cradle Mountain and made our way towards the North West of the Island. Our first stop was the Nut in Stanley, drove past Penguin and checked into our tiny home.
The next day we checked out and went to Turners Beach Berry Patch for breakfast, Bridestowe lavender farm for lavender ice cream and ending our time back in Launceston.

Is anyone else’s video cut at 12 mins but it wasn’t it? They were talking about the possums and wallabies and then it ended. ☹️ don’t think this is the whole video
Mine did too. I think it was just a mistake, an unintentionally abrupt end to the video..??
In Germany in Bavarian Mehlmeisel there is a howl village of tiny houses and they also have 3 for tourists. Its a great experience cause all the people who live there are so nice to each other. Some of them raise their own plants and food and they are all vegetarian and try to live eco friendly .
- sry for my English but I’m from Germany so I learn it in school😅 hope it’s not that bad.
Love your Videos sooo much and all the best for you and your baby😍
PS: one of the tiny houses is also for Families 😉☺️
Wowww
If you guys are interested in tiny homes, I'd recommend the youtube channel "Living Big in a Tiny House"! He tours all kinds of tiny home structures, and he's from New Zealand so not too far from you!
I watch many tiny home videos and Bryce, by far, exceeds in quality and content. He searches worldwide, which puts him in a league of his own, and his passion for tiny and alternative living always shines through.
Couldn't click on the link quick enough , just home and relaxing with another wonderful video from you both
That tiny home was adorable! We live in a studio flat the same size, but not half as cosy! Beautiful video guys ❤️
I stayed in Burnie for a year trying to get out of Perth, Penguin was my go-to if I needed to de-stress. Loved it.
I love how peaceful your videos are, I think it's such a unique contrast to a lot of other travel vlogs, and the house looked incredible!
Stayed in a fabulous tiny home shipping container in Cornwall, England this summer. Found it on Airbnb.😊
I absolutely love Tasmania! I've been there 4 times and always want to go back. Highly recommend doing a road trip around the whole place.
love tiny homes, have to stay in one some day too
I love the eco lodge, it looks so cosy!
It’s so strange watching the place where I live on your channel.
You live on a tiny house in aussie??
I've never heard of this channel and I don't watch travel vlogs, I assume this got recommend to me off Google maps. But I was on that exact bridge at the cataract gorge two days ago and seeing her there was a total trip.
@@herclient4081 yeah. I actually do. I live in a tiny home in North West Tasmania.
What an adorable house. So happy for you guys. Sending you lots of ❤️ from Alaska.
I love Tasmania so much, all my family is there so it is a very special place to me💛 my late grandfather grew up in Stanley, where you were
All the best with the baby! Mine is going to turn 2, its a amazing journey. Record it and continue sharing!
I have followed you for a couple of years, now. I think you are two of the nicest and sweetest people on our puny planet! I am so happy for you both with the coming of your "puff pastry"! I knew you would be great parents after all the videos from Disney World! I have to say that I am happy you will continue your journeys, and I know that is kind of greedy on my part, but I truly love you both and I wish you every happiness!

"There's a place called Penguin!!
next second...
"We came to Penguin!!" - made me laugh out loud!
Tasmania! Its so strange seeing my home town on your channel (Launceston). The Cataract Gorge is my absolute favourite place in the world. I am so glad you were able to go and see it.
Amazing footage guys! Love your channel!
Love this style of video, great photography & cute tiny 🏠. Thanks!
Just love you both. I was raised off grid...love the travels and new child adventures you woll have. Xo from Canada.🌍❤
Thank you for the professional videos. Keep showing food, natural beauty, urban scenes and acommodations.
That tiny home is ten minutes away from where I live and I didn’t even know it existed!
Wow it’s beautiful!!! ❤️
As a Tasmanian who lives in Launceston and been most of these places this makes me excited seeing my state on your channel!
I guess your baby will love the music in your videos like us ❤️ always warm and feel like home
YESS! I love tiny homes, I fully have my design done already for my own tiny home! So cute :)
I'm a Civil Engineering student and I also did this for my own house :D
Absolutely love your videos but here lately they have just been cutting off without a goodbye or anyting. You really need to start having an ending.
Loving the tassie vlogs 😍 my husband and I grew up in Burnie on the North West Coast. Bringing back a lot of mems 💗 cradle mountain lodge was our anniversary get away every year 💗💗
I love this episode because Stephen and Jessica are so amazing together you guys are my favorite couple ❤️

I somehow found you guys on UA-cam yesterday and instantly liked your content. You have such a positive energy! Traveling around the globe is such a great experience. Keep up your good work and I am looking forward to your upcoming videos. Greetings from Munich! :)

From the title I thought it was yours.
Same
Love this tiny house. Nice video guys
Love this place. So cute😍
Love the background music 💓
I went to Launceston before without checking the bloom time for lavender and obviously not the right time hahaa.. but regardless, the bridestowe farm is still beautiful place to visit ❤
It's so lovely
Looks cozy
I really like both of you! Keep vlogging! 😍😍😍
That's a cool tiny home!!! 😆😍😁
LOVE that tiny house!! Wish we could live there.
Cool video guys 👍
Awesome tiny house , love the Tasmania’s views . I’ve been In Tasmania once planning to go to Tasmania again very soon after the pandemic, yay can not wait !!!
As a Tasmanian (live in Launceston) and as a fellow world traveller, coming back home is a humbling time, Exploring Tasmania such as you have, you find some really niche places and A class scenery, we are very lucky to live in Tassie, we cop a lot of slack from the mainland thinking that we are all in-breeds, but we need more travel bloggers to come and showcase just what an amazing life we have here. Thank you Jess and Steven for coming to Tassie, you both have inspired me to capture my future travels and to start my travel blog, It would have been nice to pick your brains here in Launny on how to get videos as great as yours however I am really chuffed that you visited my home, and congrats on the baby news, so so happy for you both and really interested in seeing where and what the future holds for the channel xx much love!
Eeek I only live an hour away from this! I’ll need to book a night in soon 🙌🏼✨
God this is absolutely perfect place for an introvert 🥰
Oh Jess! You actually did learn how to make sushi, as you mentioned in the other video! Good job! 👏
I have been watching you guys for past few weeks and I love all your videos!! Keep it up and post more!! I feel like I know you!! :-)
Woo tiny homes! Well set up, very functional, had pretty well everything you would need...except a nursery ;) The gorge was beautiful. Never hear of people going to Tasmania.
I love this. I'm from Turners Beach, and the publicity the berry patch is getting is amazing haha
Very exciting to see you guys exploring launceston, where I live. I live a literal stonesthrow from cataract gorge so it's always fun seeing people get so excited about it being in the middle of the town. If you'd had more time, I would have recommended exploring the Trevallyn nature reserve on foot, or on a bike, and seeing the dam overlook (just a couple of kms walk from the gorge).
So sad that you haven't visited South Tasmania (Hobart, Port Arthur, Gordon Dam). There so many amazing places.
Your videos give me life
Wanted to see more of the video :( Awww I hope they add in the rest on the next one❤️ mistakes happen and it’s totally okay!
We are absolutely hanging out to do Tassie on our 'round Australia roadtrip that we are half way through!
It is so beautiful and it has everything!
Beautiful video guys. DIdn't know about those lavender fields either! Will have to check those out for sure!
That cut between "There's a town called Penguin!?" and "We came to penguin!" was so great. I love Stanley. I actually spent NYE this year there with some family and friends. It's a beautiful little village. At times it feels like it would fit in in Ireland as much as in Australia.
I had never heard of Tasmania and now I can't imagine not going. It is incredibly beautiful.
You people from Melbourne really piss me off !
Lovely place tazzy.
lavender ice cream is my fav! especially with some honey 😋
The Tiny Home was well put together and what a great farm land it’s on. Just the best view to wake up and enjoy your coffee with. I think I would have put in a skylight above the bed just so you can stare at the stars/skies at night or wake up to. What is nice about traveling as you have been for years, you do not need as much all the time. #minimalism. They also have double, triple shipping crate Tiny Homes. I totally see RV adventures once the baby grows up a bit so you do not need to pack and unpack baby stuff all the time.
I stayed in the same AirBnb at Launceston... how cool
its beautiful
Looks so cute
Weird ending !!! I guess it got cut off
But still another beautiful vlog you guys are the best in the business
Love from Toronto Canada 🇨🇦
You should have checked out The Ship Inn in Stanley! Amazing room. ⚡
You guys pick the most beautiful music
Love Tassy! My sister lives in Burnie xx
That “good morning Tasmania” at 7:54
I read your comment when he said it
The fields look so much like British ones well since Captain cook founded modern Australia so I guess it makes sense.
That tiny home was absolutely gorgeous 😊 Tassy has so much to offer. I can’t wait. Flying into Launceston this Sat 30th Nov now after watching this, I wanna go now lol 3 sleeps to go
Sani Laomahei pack plenty of warm clothes. Terrible weather at the moment.
Aaron oh no 🤦♀️ I’ve just checked the weather lol oh well all part of it. And with temps almost 30degs here in Brisbane I’m definitely going to enjoy the cooler weather 😊 thank you
I reckon you guys should go see the southern lights while your in tassie
they are in Finland now
Fresh berries are the best 😍🍓 have a safe road trip!
Loving your Tasmania videos! I know it’s not close but if you do more Australian videos, check out Broken Hill in the NSW outback. I grew up there and there is no place quite like it!
Next time you visit Tassie coming in via Launie or Devonport, you should check out Sheffield the town of murals, which is a 20-30 Min drive from Devonport
Cute tiny home. Check out the tiny homes Kara and Nate stayed in, in Switzerland and Norway. Maybe you can take your little one there some day! Take care and Happy Travels!
Love from karachi 😍😍
I m simply addicted😍😍😍
Birds Nest is so appropriate knowing what we know now about your little bird.
The weather and fauna of Tasmania is really unique and unlike mainland Australia.
Finally reached home 😊
the area of tassy you were in going up the nut looks a lot like scotland and cornwall in the UK!
Your videos always look so beautifully smooth. Do you use a gimble and if so which one?
What a Pretty farm
Yet another awesome video guys and welcome to Tassie :) if you're heading back to Launceston, let me know as, as a fan...would like to meet you both and shout you a coffee
I live in Tassie! So glad you guys loved it, it truly is a stunning place. Really enjoyed your video! X
Believe me New Zealand is so much greener and most of Victoria is amazing also.
@@qiratlamour been to NZ and loved it, been to victoria and not a huge fan, love tassie so much more, such a beautiful place to live. Much prefer the east coast though (so not where Jess and Steve went)
Me encanta y sobretodo el dormitorio que está en el.1 piso y se puede andar de pie 💚💖💙❤💜🧡💛👏🏆💯
Once again great video. And you would have past our house on your way to Stanley. Sad you only have 5 days. But the Northwest is best.
Looooove Tassie ❤
Did you do the Adelaide hills Tiny home/Earthship? You'll love that...if you can get a booking!!
Had to look on the map for Tasmania. I guess the further south you go in Australia the older it gets. Couldn’t figure out. Love the tiny house!
Yes lol that's the direction of the south pole. Antarctica is very close to southern Australia/Tasmania
I just didn’t know. Sorry
who could possibly give this a thumbs down???
that looks so cozy 🥺🥺 can i move in with you guys ?
There is another place to visit called the pump house a friend stayed there.
Go to LAPLAND and check out the tiny houses or just cool houses their!
I have relatives that live in Smithton, plus I have ancestors buried in one of the graveyard's in Stanley, should go up there to the Northwest of my home state soon.
You need to do a road trip of the east coast of Tassie.. Beauty point with the seahorse, echidna and platypus world, Bay of fires is an absolutely amazingly beautiful beach, Denisons beach, freycinet national park and a place close to where I live Richmond (of course lots more to mention)... A lot of people misjudge how much time they will need to travel tassie... You can do it quick but you miss out on so so much.. ( 😁 I love my little island home)
I live not even a minute away from the berry patch
I knew you would get the Wombat, Jess! Prezzie for that new baby. Fun fact-Princess Diana's nickname for Prince William was "Wombat".
I forsee a video titled, "We decided to build a tiny home" 😍
Honestly, I am in love with Australian accent.
Omg! How Do you find these houses? I cannot believe :)
We stayed here a few months ago! It was a great experience and we really enjoyed it, especially the bed and the view. We were lucky enough to have the colourful cows close by. It is in a lovely secluded, very green part of the world just outside Devonport. An impressive off-grid experience. We have our own tiny house down south in Tasmania just out of Hobart. It's not on wheels but it's eco-conscious and charming. Check out The Dell on AirBnB. :-)
