I have to spend 5 hours in one class today with no assignments. Instead of doing schoolwork ima binge watch your video and listen to scary stories. Send help lol
My school’s from 1902. It’s the oldest building still in use by my school district. It was recently remodeled and added on to. Fire alarm panel is an EST3. Smokes and pulls are the current EST siga. (Not the old traffic cone looking smokes.) Notification appliances are mostly EST EG1-HDVM genesis horn strobe models in white, but there are some that were replaced with the newer G4 series LED double-gang versions.
Because the portables get moved around site to site every few years and they were in a different location that requires them to be sprinklered however this municipality where they are located now does not require portables to be sprinkling
I guess you could but I guess it’s just more convenient to have somebody there so you can do it on your time sometimes you want to ring a little longer than others and it is more convenient to have somebody there who can also be writing down all the devices
@@nics-systems-electric True. I think some panels have a log of devices during a walk test. Haven't seen much of Notifier Walk Tests. Where I live, people tend to go towards simplex. the 4005 my old elementary school had used walk test on the days the students were off, and they had logging on for each device.
only 2 smokes? is that even legal given heat detectors are only property protection? still better than my middle school with no heat detectors and only one smoke detector
Smoke is probably the better way to go. Some say you have to use smoke but the companies in my area say magnet is acceptable I don’t make the decision though
"wHO pUT a hOLE in mY waLL?" "wHO stOLE mY waLLS?" "yOUs tAKe aLL of mY dRYwALL?!?" I found that super funny
Your videos make me more interested in fire alarms

Does the Newer Codes require Smoke Detectors to be in Hallways in Canada? Cool video!
Not sure it’s different in every building seems to depend on the engineer
Hello @@nics-systems-electric
Are there horn strobes in the building!?
Yes watch till the end of the video and you will hear them
I’m confused about why there is even sprinklers if they aren’t connected?
Because the portables get moved around site to site every few years and they were in a different location that requires them to be sprinklered however this municipality where they are located now does not require portables to be sprinkling
why dont you put the panels into a walk test? do they have that feature?

Do you like fire alarm simple
only 2 smokes? is that even legal given heat detectors are only property protection? still better than my middle school with no heat detectors and only one smoke detector
The building is fully sprinklered so I think that’s how they got away with no smokes in the Corridors
@@nics-systems-electric oh, yeah
Frenzy
Make another bike video
I would but I took everything off and put it on my electric scooter
shouldnt you be smoking the smoke detectors for testing? Not just using a magnet
