To avoid confusion with the title of the video: This isn't a fire drill to evacuate all the occupants in the building to prepare for fire emergencies, instead this is a fire alarm system test (bell test). The reason why he titled the video "Quick fire drill at a elementary school" is because he pressed the "drill" button on the panel to conduct the bell test Also to avoid confusion with bell tests that aren't tested with actual bells: bell tests are when you test the notification appliances, regardless of what kind of signals are installed (Horns/Horn Strobes/Bells). The reason why this confusion occurred in the first place is because older/popular fire alarm notification appliances are called "bells"
Well my school has Edwards EST for the fire alarm system and the principal said the system has been protecting all students and faculty in the building very well.
@@boydalexander4652 I don’t think Edwards is a very good product principles think they know everything it’s the same in my schools I’ve had lots of problems with Edwards products
From your fire alarm test/inspection videos in schools, are classes ever in session while in field work? At my school, the fire protection company comes yearly to inspect the fire alarm system while classes are in session. The technician would test the smoke detectors on Silent Walk Test, then he’d set the alarms off for fire drill.
@@nics-systems-electric Wow they let do that? I was supposed to meet the electrician from high school like 2 years ago and then the pandemic happened and ever met him
Nice Video

I wish my school had this system instead of the stupid EST Edwards system that keeps breaking.
At the beginning, what is the annunciator model? (The black box in the right)
ACM 24 I think
Nice! I wish my school had this system instead of stupid EST crap that keeps breaking

Is this the same school where you replaced the bells earlier this year? Great video!

Nice job!
Fire drill??? You said bell test
Read the title
@@Lighting_chris11 Yes fire drill because I hit the drill button
@@nics-systems-electric yep
Isn’t that the school with only five nacs where you replaced the system?
Five horns I think there’s only two nacs maybe three
Smart thinking
So is this a job? LOL.
I know sometimes it is a job and sometimes it is a tag all long with the inspectors.
I’ve never worked with an inspector all of my videos are just working with my school district electricians
