yeah and it annoys me so much because obviously haikyuu was based off of volleyball, but they make it seem like volleyball was based off of haikyuu. everything in volleyball they relate to smth in haikyuu even though that smth in haikyuu was based off of that thing in volleyball, not the other way around
I lost interest in volleyball but decided to give it a shot again after watching a show that had inspired me. Now I’m going to try and improve my volleyball skills to hopefully try out for the high school volleyball team in 4 months

the girls at 0:25-0:42 are the varsity setters at my high school!! they are so good and also are the captains of the team!

To the two setters from 0:25 to 0:42, never have your back to the net during any portion of the serve receive. You should always be facing the 1 zone, even if you have to come off the net, you still 'radius' out whilst facing the 1 zone. This helps immensely with accuracy, consistency and provides a much better view of the opponent's middle blocker, whose location you always need to be aware of.
I started doing the setting against a wall drill a few weeks ago to knock off the rust. Those drills are HARD. Try them farther away from the way with full arm and wrist follow through, then up close with just the wrists moving/following through.

I like the drills from 1:17 to 1:32; are those deliberately designed for bump setting? IMO, the tosses are still high enough for those ladies to get under them and overhand set them. I've gone sliding to the floor to get under a pass to be able to properly overhand set it. If you can get under the pass to hand set it, do it!
