Amen. May their souls rest in peace. I had been in that twin tower many times. New York was changed forever. I am glad that the new building is not a twin building because those of us who knew the old twin tower would still be thinking that it is the same. I have not been to the new building. To be honest, I would be too afraid to go into this new one, not because I do not trust the structure, but it would remind me of the destruction of the old twin tower.

They also have screens on the inside walls of the elevator that play a video so you have something distracting you during the ride up. It was insanely fast though it’s pretty awesome. But considering how many people they have going in and out of that building every day for tours, the elevators needed to be fast.

If a tank were to magically become a majestic skyscraper, this would be it. I've watched documentaries on how the Freedom Tower was built and it's beyond impressive. The engineering and planning that went into the goal of making it "nearly indestructible" is just mind-blowing. Despite the old towers being 110 stories and the new tower being 102, the Freedom Tower from base to rooftop is actually the same height. The spire at the top is how they achieved the new tower's 1,776 feet, which was clearly a nod to our country's independence.

Because earth spins from west to east, so while traveling west, the destination comes to you at 1600 kmph speed. So you should reach the 100 km westward destination much quicker.
But in reality it takes exactly 1 hour to reach 100 km destination at 100kmph speed in both directions. This clearly scientifically proves that the earth is NOT spinning.

It also has an incredible "animated elevator" that starts out at ground level with an unpopulated island of Manhattan and as you go up, time is moving quickly and you get to see Manhattan grow, even getting to see the twin towers built and standing tall before they eventually disappear and you're suddenly in present day Manhattan. That's probably the most horrible description ever so, if you don't understand, just look it up. It really is incredible.

I just watched this engrossing program for the first time, and found it both very moving and informative. It moved seamlessly between re-creation/docudrama and actual footage of the horrifying event, while never losing sight of the human toll, as survivors recounted, in granular detail, what they experienced and felt. I can only imagine the PTSD that envelops these individuals on a daily basis, and my heart goes out to the poor souls who perished that horrible day, along with their loving survivors.
May nothing like this ever happen again....🧐⚖🇺🇸🙏💯
