- Very rare and mostly continuous video of WTC-1 south side before and after the 2nd plane impact.
Messed-up interlacing repaired as good as possible. Doubled frame rate. Upscaled to 1920x1440. Distorted display aspect ratio of 3:2 corrected to 4:3. Denoised footage.
Removed repetitive portion at 05:02 in the original preview video file.
7:22 - 7:55 -- Restored original audio which was removed here and replaced by the previous 23 seconds, either by Courchesne or by Nimia, probably to delete a loud conversation of Courchesne and another gentlemen in Canadian French in order to make it newscast suitable.
Source for the audio restoration was another, shorter Nimia preview version, also found by UA-camr "911AnalysisVideo" ( ).
My mother was in the South Tower just above the impact zone and no part of her body has been identified after all these years if it even still exists. Some days it still feels like a nightmare you wake up from.

Ok, folks. There seem to be a few, quite a few instances where the "cameramen" line up the 2nd plane hitting the tower perfectly. As in, it almost seems like they knew it was going to hit. This cameraman seems to be preparing for a shot of the 2nd plane hitting the tower. He just panned out a bit too early. Notice how he says "ok" just before the 2nd plane hits?

Yea that’s exactly what I was thinking, when second plane hit , that dude filming said nothing and literally no response . And then they talk and laugh a little, that just tells you that this was all planned and these people were standing on front of the towers waiting with their cameras .

Back when the video starts, they are already discussing the probability of it being an attack. When you are not confused, it is easier to be calm. They’re not kids smoking to look cool, they do it to calm themselves. Unlike Americans, they probably remember the 1993 WTC attack and who was behind that. And they’ll recall that Bin Laden formally declared “war on America”. Unlike Americans, they probably saw and remember the news of 98/99 and two spectacular attacks on Americans overseas. They have a context for what they are seeing. They may not have many local ties, it isn’t their hometown they are watching burn. And they do not have “main character syndrome” like younger people.
They discuss early on that the first tower explosion was a plane (this information is being relayed in the phone call.) They all hear and see the second plane descending steeply over the water, making a slight curve, lining itself up. They verbally comment on it before it hits. (So did several Americans in at least two other videos). Yes, they had several seconds to anticipate it.
The French are the people who gave the English language its expressions for being calm under stress and optimistic in adversity - sang-froid and sanguine. The word “equanimity” in English (composure, keeping a balanced mind under difficulty) is also of French origin.
These are mature adults who (to judge from their language) have grown up in postwar France, a country with a steady trickle of terrorist incidents in its cities. They put a high cultural value on taking adversity in stride.

1st guy « but the plane completely disintegrated?»
Other guy : « that was a suicide then or it was remote controlled? »
1st guy : « meh no it cannot be remote controlled. I never saw anything like this. That’s really… unbelievable unbelievable. That’s something, really something. »
Other guy : other people are falling.
The woman asks them in English if they saw the plane hit and then says that they hit both buildings.
1st guy : « Oh the 1st building was also a plane? Ah… that’s why it’s (burning so much)
Other guy : "look someone is falling on the left"
1st guy : « ah shit Oh la la. These people have no choice (but to jump)
That’s quite radical, those were big planes (responding to his friend). In fact when you know you are gonna die… (talking about the jumpers).

After the collapse they are talking about where to go. They think that staying close to the water is where the smog is gonna clear first thanks to the wind coming from the sea, they also talk about trying to find their friends.

I was. 17 when it happened my mum was in New York a year and half before this tragedy happened
I took my niece to the 9/11 memorial and museum a few years ago. She was 5 months old when the attack happened. It was really interesting to see her reaction and answer questions about where I was. I was 17 at the time and watched it all on TV. I'm just under a 3 hour drive to the city.

To see this angle of the second plane hit at 9:58 is soo heart breaking. It still leaves me speechless! My heart hurts for those on the planes to this day! Just as so unfair to lose your life this way! My heart still hurts for everyone that died Sept 11th!

Yep. The night before last, a plane flew overhead while I was sleeping and I dreamed it crashed right in front of me.

This angle impact really gives you an idea of how fast that plane really was traveling. It's incredible The fact that plane is flying at twice its normal cruising speed. Then impacting the building. It just doesn't seem real.

People often mistake these for explosions but in the first few minutes at about 8:55-9:03am about 10+ people fell from the 92nd and 93rd floors on the East side down into the Plaza due to the fire encroaching their entire floor. You can audibly hear them hitting the ground at 5:09, 5:40, 6:08, 6:53, 7:15, 8:15, 9:46. There is video of this taken from a couple in the Millennium Hilton overlooking the Towers. Then later on you got 18:28, 18:32, 21:33 and 23:47. So people. There were no bombs going off. It was people literally exploding on the pavement.

From that point in the video till the second plane hits the South Tower. You see probably two dozen people fall from the 92nd and 93rd floors on the East side of Tower 1 and you could hear them hitting. Be aware, you will see the bodies at about 6:50

This video has some points that make me curious, first you can hear several noises of jumpers hitting the ground and exploding.
At minute 21:16 in the North Tower in the left corner you can see a person jumping but there is no noise even being very close.
At minute 17:40-41 I can hear two huge explosions, it sounds like a car exploding or something, whenever I listened to that part I noticed that detail of that specific part and I don't see any comments about it.
At minute 10:56 shortly after the plane hit the South Tower, in the left corner of the South Tower I seem to see 2 jumpers falling very quickly (seriously birds or my mistake?) and at minute 11:02- I can hear a jumper on the ground and shortly thereafter another jumper 11:06 hit the ground.
So to me it looks like it was 2 jumpers, although I have serious doubts about that.

I'm a millennial and didn't fathom what happened when it happened and then it sort of became a meme... Now that I'm older and I've worked in and live in a high rise building it's more real. I had never been in a city when this happened because I'm from middle of nowhere. I couldn't understand how many people were there and what they went thru trying to escape. Now I've been in similar buildings, not as large, and I've worked in a corporate office setting. Idk it just hits different now and I'm finally seeing the situation for as tragic and horrifying as it was 😨 and maybe I'm mentally preparing myself for something as bad or worse...

I used to love going on top of the observation tower. I still cannot believe those huge, beautiful buildings are gone. It was the first time I ever saw a Matryoshka Doll which were being sold by a female Russian vendor. I also went for a job interview and didn't get the job.

What I hear, after the second plane hits, is people screaming in the distance, both before and after the person who is talking in French on the phone in French says, “It’s… It’s the south…”. He means the south tower. The person at the other end has heard the impact but does not know what it is.
Europeans had many, many terror attacks in the late 20th century from a variety of terrorists. It’s not surprise, no. The WTC was attacked already in 1993 by Islamists, since Bin Laden had made two or three spectacular attacks on overseas US targets in 98/99, after declaring “war on America”.
Why would you be surprised that the reactions of 20th century people raised in post-war France are different from 21st century Americans or Koreans? Europeans certainly have the custom of “black humor” or “gallows humor”, it helped them through two world wars, enemy occupation and several decades of random terror attacks in most major European cities.
You don’t even know the context of any laughter, since evidently you speak no French.

It upsets me that building two did not evacuate right away. It's just crazy thinking about this. Why did they not evaluate?
in docs it's mentioned that the second building was in a "secure, go back to your office" type situation. i bet many people had no idea what happen in first building when the second plane hit. truly a terrible decision in hindsight but in the moment who knew a second plane was coming

Every time you see a puff of smoke and or papers shooting out is a floor collapsing from above. I saw one video I think it was the one with Edna Citrone waving where a window blows out just bellow her and I swear that it’s a person getting pushed out by the air pressure due to the collapsing floor. So so sad.
I have seen no evidence of floors collapsing prior to the main collapse. Is this something you read, or is it just your impression?

Yes, approximately around this time judging by the amount of light debris that is still swirling around after 1st impact.
Unfortunately, the video is not continuous up to the 2nd impact, there is a cut at 03:27 , then it runs uninterrupted throughout the rest of the towers footage until the post-WTC2 collapse scene sets in at 27:07 .
What I find bizarre is how the cameraman doesn't even react to the plane hitting the tower, like literally nothing happened.
