He and I would see each other every week at siat programs, until he graduated and our communication basically ceased. We went from talking every week, to basically not at all. That is, of course until December 4th 2019. This was a few months after my graduation. Now at this point I was packing for my trip to Israel, the best trip that I’ve ever taken without question. The two characters who loved Marissa the most. Despite their differences it didn’t matter at this moment. It was about being able to grieve and reconcile moments they’ve shared and felt with said person. The grieve and sadness never goes away but moving on is the only thing we can do to ease the pain. Death doesn’t just take away the people you love from you but it also brings them together. That’s perhaps the beauty behind such a natural yet painful part of life.
This is a wonderful scene. Two people who are never going to be close, who are never going to be friends, who have been enemies from day one, brought together, for the most fleeting of moments, by grief. Both tearing down their walls to share a moment of tenderness and emotion, together, as though they are old friends. In that moment Julie no longer cares that he's the kid from the wrong side of the tracks who reminds her a little too much of herself, she just wants someone to share misery and memory with, even just for a short while. I actually have almost finished rewatching the show and this is possibly one of my favourite scenes of the entire series overall (I mean the one with Julie and Ryan). The first three episodes were so good and then things went downhill. The stuff with Julie was ok but the rest of them were all over the place. I mean it’s like they had no idea what to do with summer and Seth and they actually annoyed me so much I found myself running on a lot of their scenes. The O.C should of kept Marissa then they would of made another series.
She was the worst part though
@@mrmaclovin255 she was stressful, a mess, and always causing drama, but that was the drive for the show
@@cannsmith they had lots of ways of making drama. Marrissa tried to steal the spotlight all the time. It's not her show
@@mrmaclovin255That only happened in Season 3. They never had any success writing her character. But her presence was still crucial regardless of your personal feelings. This type of show couldn’t move on without a character that was killed off senselessly.
I miss 2003.
The OC was one of a kind.
omg I believe just watched this show summer 2018.I loved it.please bring it back.Melissa A. Aug2018life without this show won't be the same.
One of the best OC moments
I actually have almost finished rewatching the show and this is possibly one of my favourite scenes of the entire series overall (I mean the one with Julie and Ryan). The first three episodes were so good and then things went downhill. The stuff with Julie was ok but the rest of them were all over the place. I mean it’s like they had no idea what to do with summer and Seth and they actually annoyed me so much I found myself running on a lot of their scenes. I may be in a minority here but I didn’t mind the Ryan and Taylor relationship but that was even a bit messy. There wasn’t nearly enough Seth/Ryan/sandy and Kirsten scenes. My only saving grace was Julie who I would watch doing anything on screen 😂😂 also I love the acting in this scene, Melinda in particular is fantastic
This show ends with the death of Marissa, the case is CLOSED.
No to doesn't marrisa was fucking awful nothing but miserable
I'm 28 and this show is nothing but emotional nostalgia. As shallow and poorly acted as it was - I still love it. Haha
I’m sorry I know this is supposed to be sad and all but when he said Seattle grace I broke out in a huge smile
We can all thank FOX for canceling this gem...
emdea Thank Josh and Mischa for fucking up a good thing.
Josh killed off Marissa.
Mischa was difficult to work wit.
@@shashimaharaj7703Josh said Mischa was professional regardless of what went on with her personal life. Josh wanted her out and said her death was 100% a creative decision. Something he regrets till this day
🥺 Marissa was written terribly in S3. She deserved so much better
everything was horrible in S3 except for the final 5 episodes
If Mischa really wanted to be off of the show he should've left for the whole 4th season to work with her dad like planned, and it would still be sad cuz u would see how summer misses her and everyone else does too. And Ryan is trying to be with someone he meets at berkley (taylor is so wrong for him) but he just cant say i love you to her cuz he's inlove with someone else(marissa) and then at the very end she comes back and they both understand that they cant live without eachother and start d
Leah Lopez Neeh, I prefer the way S4 was jajajajajaj.
i would like to agree with you.. but marissa and him just didn’t seem happy together, idk it was just so toxic to me. i liked him and taylor. don’t get me wrong though, marissa and ryan has some good moments
@@leohcarrillo2981 she died because the actress chose that. And taylor was way better than marissa who the fuck would want to go out with a girl who causes drama and moans and cries every bloody time. How many times did Ryan get into trouble because he was too busy defending marrissa yet she can't even pick between Ryan and Johnny and when she picked Ryan you can tell seh really wanted to be with Johnny. Taylor will actually keep Ryan happy and would be a proper wife. Ryan is litteraly miserable every time he is with marissa
@@grantmcroberts4089 Why are you talking this to me? 🤣 Did you read my comment? I said I prefer the way S4 was. Like: hey, I love S4 & Ryan + Taylor. Wtf? 🤣
Exactly!!! Idk why the writers didn’t think of this😒 I just stop watching at season 3 final before she dies and pretends Ryan and Marissa get back together and end up together
love this , miss the oc so much
This break my hart so much
Mica Cardoso ur beautiful tho
Im sorry. He referenced Grey's Anatomy.. ❤️
Killbro Fragginz when?
T. When Summer's dad says "Seattle Grace". It was the name of the hospital in Grey's Anatomy until the plane crash.
JeonJungkookie99 yep
I KNOW IM DIEING
I tear up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHO LEFT THESE ONIONS OUT HERE!?!?
THE OC!!!! Big big big series.
Diese Szene bricht mein Herz😢😢😢
Miyah Rose you’re beautiful tho
No its not. The first 3 or 4 eps of Season 4 were the only good ones in that series. The rest revolved around Taylor's Townsin.
Not to sound too dramatic, but when Marissa died, so did the show.
i agree
Nop.
Hell no the show was dying because of marissa. Marissa was terrible and she show was acting like was her show because everything was about her taylor was actually normal and never miserable every single day
@@grantmcroberts4089The show actually still did better with shitty writing and revolving around her character in Season 3 than the Circus Show with that revolved around Taylor in Season 4 with ratings so low it was cancelled 😂
Anyone else catch the Greys Anatomy reference.
lol it took me years and multiple watches but finally
Start dating again! And that it would be obvious that they get married one day but it would've been soo weird if they had 2 weddings at the finale, and seth and summer had to have a wedding! They're perfect!!!!
I love this show i am so upset that they don't have it showing on the TV anymore
oh my god her dads moving to the hospital off greys anatomy
Who would have thought?Ryan and Julie together.
That’s what I was thinking. That’s how far they both have come in their relationship with each other. I’m glad she did this.
@@derekmathews1818 I loved them together. He was like a son she never had.
@@IOANNA333, Yep. Amazing how far they have come with each other. She hated him in the beginning.
@@derekmathews1818 She really despised him.I wish they had more scenes together though.
@@IOANNA333, me too.
That scene between Julie and Ryan gets me everytime ! I wish the show lasted longer Unpopular opinon I loved Ryan and Taylor together
I loved Ryan and Taylor together too.
Ryan was better off with Taylor, just like he was pretty well off with Lindsay.
Not meaning that as a diss against Marissa, but, he was moving forward with each of them, especially Taylor
Me too! They were great together!
they didnt kill her off, Mischa wanted off and she had a choice.let marissa live and go with her dad,or die.she thought it would be more dramatic to die, so obviously thats what she choose.
Still loving the oc 17 years later lol
What a great show. Period. Really miss it. /3
I felt my heart break when scene of Marissa dying with song first aired .
I was way too old for The O.C. I was just the right age for The O.C. I miss the O.C.
Settle grace hospital??? Was he supposed to be moving onto Grays Anatomy?

After this episode, there was no more episodes but the finale. Season 4 did not happen. It’s The OC: Epilogue.
i consider this scene to be the last of the show, nothing after that exists to me
@@SPACEDOUT19 Except the final final scene with Ryan leaving the Cohen house.
The OC season 4 was great. Ryan and Taylor > Ryan and Marissa
@@jamescarr1265 Not a chance in hell. As cute Autumn Reeser is, I wouldn’t touch that character with a 10 foot pole. Especially if you’re Dean Hess’s sloppy second.
@@madcapmakov2 Julie slept with a teenager. These sorts of storylines happen in all 2000s shows.
