FLOUNDER and CROAKER on the CAPE FEAR

Went SOLO kayak fishing on the Lower Cape Fear River to try to find some Red Drum but ended up hooking up with some Croaker and the flat fish Flounder (since they are endangered according to North Carolina).
I was using a Z-Man Diesel Minnow in the Slam Shady color and it paid off, on my Penn Fierce 3 setup.

A little further north than Federal Point. River Road. I'd love to do something with Elias some day but I'm sure he gets a lot of requests and I don't know that I'm at that status yet. If nothing else, I'd like to learn more about vertical jigging from him because it seems like he's pretty much got it mastered.
