Thanks it helped 5/13/23 1 kicker L7122 Series & a kicker cxa1800.1. In a qbomb box… Being playing some chopped & screwed. All I can say is dam dam dam. Found this video right after getting setup installed. Didn’t make it a half mile down the road from the sound shop where it was installed and the strange noise. I thought they fuk up my car 😂😂😂. This video is accurate for non Bose system. I followed his exact steps.. it worked 😂😂😂
I only unplugged the front microphone and my subs work fine. Also I tapped my AOC to the rear speakers by removing the two panels that cover the front seatbelts. The speaker wires are easier to access at that point and if you use the right AOC it has a remote wire that turns the Amp on as soon as it senses audio from the speakers. This way, I didn't have to remove the head unit. Great install though!
Timely video. About to do my install. My 2019 Luxe only has 6 speakers, 4 6.5"s and 2 tweeters. Wasn't aware of the plastic piece, was going to take my entire back seat out. Thanks for the tip
@@Sliipsy Just so you know, we provide the easiest (proper) way to upgrade your audio system. All my kits are 100% plug-n-play, so you can install audio equipment in no time. Check out the channel/website if interested.
I believe you can go into the secret diagnostics menu thru the headunit and toggle on/off the cabin noise cancellation/fake exhaust sound in sport mode so that way you wouldn’t have to disconnect the factory mics in the ceiling.
Great vid .I'm about to start my install. Was wondering, with speakers in the trunk, why didn't you just splice into those with your LOC? That's the route I think I want to go, and it would save some time routing the RCA's through the car. Just wanting to know if you gave that some thought, abd maybe guide me as to why I shouldn't do that.
only reason i didn't use speakers in the back is because i have none. The stock system does't have rear deck speakers in only has rear door speakers. I couldn't find any info on best location for LOC on the base model.
Hey bro. Just picked up a 2019 Q50 3.0t Luxe. Has the stock speakers. I’m not really impressed at all I think my back speakers in the rear doors don’t even work. Know anything about that? Can’t find anything online but if they are working then the speakers in this car really so suck.
Idk if you’ll respond to this, but with my car I can’t seem to get the power wire through the trunk area you were talking about. Did you run it through like a square plastic piece in the trunk??? And then the same thing with the rcas and the remote wire??
So on each side of trunk you have a white plastic piece I forget if it's a little square or circle I just remember it's a little white plastic peice. You can take a drill bit to that piece and make a hole for the wires to run through
i installed 2 bose 10 inch speakers and they make a bass sound with the radio off when i drive and get to 30 to 35 mph they make a bass sound please needed help
I think the non Bose system has 6 speakers because there are no mids. Had an install on mine and the mids were missing. Infiniti didn't bother to modify the door panels to hide the mids speaker cutout for non Bose systems.
I don't have my gain on the amp turned all the way up because the alternator can't handle it. When I don't have the ac running the rpms drop when I have it turned all the way up. Only when it's turned all the way up at night my tail lights dim just a tad when heavy notes are playing. So to me the light aren't dimming to much even at full voluke so I figure the car can handle it. I think I'm pushing around 1200 watts from what it sounds like
isnt there a remote wire going to the trunk already for the stock amp, ill probably just use that one and omfg dude just go into the diagnostic menu and turn off the ANC and ASC instead of unplugging the mic's LMFAO
You guys know their is a second battery on this type of car and you can avoid all the hassle from runing the power wire thru the fire wall and all that ?????
@@MrSerratus it's in the left side of the trunk. I'm currently trying to figure out if this battery is simply in parallel with the front battery or if it is somehow isolated. For some reason every single amp install I have seen on this car has used the front battery and I don't understand why, except in some cases the installer just didn't know there was a rear battery 😂
Bro i know this video is old as fuck but I have the same car as you, would you change the speakers all around? They are ass if you don’t have the Bose package. Better way of framing my question, is the sub enough?

What did you tap into for the remote wire?
Can u send me where you got the AOC or make a video explaining? Just got my subs and not trying to touch my dash

Pitbull56ace for the non boss system, even though there is still ANC, it’s not in the diagnostics menu to turn off
If you search up hidden menu, for the Infiniti you’ll be able to turn off fake exhaust and mics. No need to disconnect
@@Mikedonoso Not for non bose, I attempted it. ANC is not a option in the secret diagnostics 😂😂😂
@@MikkosSoGone Absolutely correct! Only on Bose system.
Hey thx for the video! can you give me a link of what i need to get to hook up the rca cables to the factory head unit?
hey bro quick tip, turn the box around and vent it into the car you would be surprised how much better it could sound when its vented into the car.
Could you go into a bit more details about how it sounds better. I run 2 l7 12” with ported box. Is that rattling the same?

your a goat 🐐
Anyway you could provide a list of what wiring items I would need to get as well as what you needed to put behind the stock radio?
Hi/low converter for behind the headunit you will want two gauge wire at least 16ft for positive and 4 ft for negative also remote on wire and rcas
Good vid. I got the bose system, wish it had a little more base, but maybe not this much lol.
It smelt new to me lol
New speakers give off a burning smell when breaking in
Couldn't you have just turned off active noise cancelation (ANC) via the diagnostic menu in the head unit?
Yes this is a much better way and much simpler than unplugging all your microphones in your car.
That option is only available for Q50s with the Bose system. Non bose systems don't have a way to turn off. Unplug mic and done.
🔥
How did you do that to your grill? Took it off and painted it? Or ordered one onlinev
Actually I Vynyl wrapped it while it was on the car
Nick Linder dang, mind linking me to the wrap ??
Would this all work for the premium Bose system in a Q50 Red sport ?
DeeZ NutZ no
What color is the mic harness tho there’s like 4 harness up there
What’s the exact info about the subwoofer?
Any problems with your battery or alternator after a few months?
Not at all
I did notice that my windows roll up slower and sometimes my rpms drop.
it jams now!!!!

Did you install it yourself?
Does the mic work for bluetooth calls since the mics are disconnected?
I only disconnected the mics for road noise not the Bluetooth call mic
So yes my calls still work the same
Do you have a video doing the rca hi/lo install?
I do not I installed this way before I made the

On my Infiniti q50 all I had to do is turn off ANC. And the humming goes away.
