Due to my childhood I quit going to school in the 4th grade and I’m 30 now. I’m having such a hard time memorizing the times tables and it’s vital for the math portion. It’s wild how I’m a bar manager and I’m handling tip outs for people. I literally take the total of what the bartenders made, let’s say the total was $2500 for the night I google 10% of $2500 which is $250 and if there’s 4 door guys I divide that by 4 which is $62 a person. It’s so fucking embarrassing honestly. I really want my GED due to the fact I’m going nowhere at this place. And I want to enlist in the army before I get too old. How difficult is it to obtain a GED at my level.
Nooooo! Please don’t be hard on yourself. Life happens!! You got this!! Purchase flash cards from the dollar tree and you can hire a tutor. It’s not embarrassing at all. Trust me!! Also look up adult education classes in your state and they can tutor you for free. Goodwill and United Ministries usually have classes
You can do it!! I’m 27, similar experience but freshman year. It’s hard but not impossible! I have math and science left but passed English and social studies first try! Get yourself a ged book for the practice tests, take the placement and see where you’re at!! You may even pass a few subjects without even knowing!
Don’t give up as long as you work hard for it I promise, you will be extremely grateful for the outcome. It will be hard at first but it comes with a reward worth the while. As long as you believe in your self you will always be successful.
Yo I'm in a similar vote I dropped outta school in the 4th grade too, I'd recommend buying ged books and if you're having trouble with multiplicatoin you can use flash cards and download multiplicatoin games on your phone. @TestPrepChampions thank for your reply! So when you calculate the equation, it comes out to negative 1 but it the answers they offered, none of them showed a negative 1 the closest correct answer was the one you chose 6x²-x-1.
