Hi, Parker I got my Ged today I would like to thank you for your social studies videos . I was writing it for the 6th time today and I passed, it was my last exam.
I personally like your videos for educational content and uplifting moments, not to mention the adorable cat. But I personally thought in my opinion that talking about favorite food survey wasn't very productive.

I'm always trying to come up with ways to make learning math (and other subjects) more fun and less painful, which is why I included that segment. But that being said, I can understand why you feel that way and am glad you shared your opinion. Are we allowed to bring our own scientific calculator into the math exam? I find it very difficult having to use the one on the screen, if at all just to wrap my head around it. It slows me down soo much! I'm from south Africa :)
Hi, thank you for watching and for your question! Sorry to hear that you're having some trouble with the on screen calculator. Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to this. In the US, the TI-30XS Multiview Scientific Calculator is the only calculator allowed. I've heard some students outside of the US say they aren't allowed to bring a physical calculator to the test, but I don't know if this is true for South Africa. I recommend reaching out to the GED Testing Service with this question. Sorry I can't be of more help, but I'm wishing you the best of luck with everything. Thanks again for watching!
