    After 6 years of piano practice, I was able to learn and perform this piece when I was 13. I think it took about 3 months to learn? And let me tell you, IT FELT AMAZING TO PLAY. There are so many details, expression-wise, and technique-wise in this song, that my amazing piano teacher taught me to work on for hours. Nothing is impossible. Practice and hard work can really achieve almost anything. If you are passionate about something, keep at it. If you feel like quitting, remember why you started. You can do it! We are all just humans. And humans are amazing creatures caplble of incredible things. We each have our own talents and the potential for greatness. You are amazing, simply by being made in the image of God. YOU are capable of greatness.

Now as an intermediate player, i can start to see that it might be one of those songs that just looks hard to play but not... Well after abit of practice, i realized the only thing that makes it hard is the speed, and the fact that my piano is might be too tiny for this..

    • @StarstruckAWF
      @StarstruckAWF 8 років тому

      Oh really? I stand corrected. I think i had that thought of it being difficult because of Mozart's frequent usages of colourful arpeggios and swift melodies, he really wrote swift music mostly. As a composer, i prefer his major works to many of his minor works, which I don't value as much. I think Beethoven takes the cake for the better minor works. But that's just my opinion.

    I’ve learnt in ab 2-3 weeks and now I’m bored of the song. Some pianists will understand.
    Also I’ve been looking at some other comments and people are bashing others for saying it took a few weeks because it took them months. In my opinion, after two years you can study this ( Fur Elise is the same thing, if you play after 2 months, you can but it isn't good, and after two years you can study fur elise and rondò alla Turca in 2 days)

    (april 29) i'm excited to finish practicing this!, i'm still on the intro, really hard to do this practicing by music sheet
    edit: (may 1) i can do it till 0:46 and i'm using a music sheet with fingering so i won't get confused with what my finger is supposed to press. and i'm only practicing everyday for 1 hour or sometimes more
    edit: (may 12) i can do it up to 1:12 but i'm having trouble with playing the bass part together with the treble part

      In order to play the bass and treble clef together, for every two notes you play on your right hand, one note is played on the left hand
      It took me only 2-3 days to be able to at least play both hands at the same time slowly
