UT99 is still alive and kicking, last time I checked. They use Discord bots to queue into PUGs though The arena shooter genre died, I think because of the high competitive skill ceiling. It's really fast, like Osu!, but you need to think about how you move and you are actually playing against other people, not just competing to have the highest score in a lobby. The lack of official skill-scoring (like ELO or MMR) makes it harder to play against similarily skilled players, but at the same time adds to the appeal of that "wild-west" feeling of the early 2000s, when you joined a random 16-player lobby not knowing what to expect. Also, maybe people got polarized by the evolving genres. If you want to be competitive, just to play CS2 or Valorant. If you just want to have fun with others, go for a more light-hearted or PvE game, like TF2 or DRG.
well if you are the OLD then i am your Grandpaa then lol just kidding... I played this game when it was launched... and for good time i kept playing it.. its so true it required lot of skills but google have distroyed the Brains of everyone.. Today everyone thinks that they know everything... if they want to learn they just google it.. TOday no one bother to do much hard work from games they should be simple otherwise dont make those games coz they will not work in the markit like this one which is dead... Today google have Distoroyed the brains of everyone out there they are LAZY all of them are... No one want to read anything the TEXT.. No one want to spend time invsting time is wast for them.... No one want to go to the ROOT of the issue and no one bothers about it... this is the problem for this game the Pain it need to learn and master the game like these it Reqire a TON of time which is no one have today... they are happy with PUBG or some other game which is even More lazy lol then the people who play those Games.. Art of games is Finished already my freind.. This is just an example you just posted here.... thankx for making a video for this so that people can see it and demand for a Game which makes ssence today... and required skills..
