The Bald Explorer - A Toad in the Hole in Lewes

I am Richard Vobes, TV's Bald Explorer and I am in Lewes in East Sussex. I am on the search of the pub game Toad in the Hole. I meet up with Ben Ward, the town's toad champion to find out more.
Lewes is the county town of East Sussex, in the south of England. It is elegant, picturesques and full of attractive architecture. I viisted the town to make a full length documentary about it for my TV series on the Community Channel. Now, I have included this interview for this on-line mini series.

Its normally just a brass slug bigger then normal coins they weigh maybe an ounce.

It wasn't just the popularity of Darts. In the 70s & 80s a lot of more individual older pubs got taken over by chains & their individuality was destroyed as the old interiors got ripped out & replaced by chrome & plastic & generic non-local vintage photos.
