I was trying my best to use the cd changer lwl connection as mentioned but wasnt able to find a cable route into the glovebooks and tried to put it above it behind the bar... With that position the cables remain enough length to work with them easily aswell. I will try it on the Weekend.
I have a e64 with CCC. If I install this module, can I listen to the OEM FM radio and receive a handsfree phone call at the same time, without the need to switch to the CDC for audio?
Fitted one of these units to my e60 with large screen when they first came out in June last year and CarPlay worked really well but needed firmware update for steering wheel controls to work. In October CarPlay stopped working with the message of accessories not supported on iPhone 13 plus after update but Bluetooth works fine.have updated to latest firmware from mr12v support page and gone through every you tube video on accessories not supported and it still doesn’t connect with car Carplay works seamlessly on ford transit sync 3 if anyone has any suggestions please let me know thanks
After installing this interface i can't use my factory Bluetooth of my car anymore. I cant find it in my Bluetooth list. The emergency button is lighting permanently. What is my problem what did i wrong? I checked all cable but cant find the problem.. Pls help me :(
@@mr12volt it says in the beginning of the video cdc is activated automatically??.....do i put the fiber optic loop in the back of the trunk? i see a optical cable here too....
after installation into BMW e63. got very dim screen. and it is only when Carplay/Android AUTO works. standard CCC works well. has any1 had the same issue?
Did you solve the problem? I installed mine today and i have the same problem, tried to adjust it in the settings menu and it is still very dim with all the adjustments all the way up…
This is the interface that adds modern features to your original radio through MOST bus, if you are looking for a high res screen, it is of a different product line.

So I need to purchase a cd changer for this to work? my car says it was the wiring for the cd changer but I don’t have a cd changer in my glovebox
you will need to code the cd/mp3 feature if car is not fitted with a factory changer

Go to Mr12volt menu setting and adjust brightness.

You will need to have an operational head unit

It is connected through MOST bus of a CD changer, therefore sound quality is absolutely perfect!
