Perfect explanation and demonstration! Question: Does this unit bypass the old CCC completely? My CCC is not working, started fading in/out, then stopped. My sound is not working. Bluetooth and Radio not working! I'm not sure what happened all at once. (325i 2006 E90 N52) I am looking for solutions. Thanks for the video!

@@nlmb.9099 I’ve purchased 2 for my wife BMW also. i installed rear camera witch it came like OEM style with trunk release handle. Response excellent once you open the car your device will connect automatically and fast i had it for a month now i can tell you go for it strongly.

Do you need to use aftermarket mic? Or will factory mic work?
Is the sound quality good and 100%? Because aux gives only 70% sound
Do you have CD interface (MOST) carplay screen? Because Aux sound quality is not good. Mr12volt has cd interface box but they don't have screen.
How is the audio quality of this unit? Is it a downgrade from factory audio?
Hi i have this system But the sound when I connect the aux input comes out very noisy and the music is heard very quietly, I think it's a problem with the p2 plug that goes to the aux input
In the LVDS ( video connection ), it need to connect the GND ( ground ) cable . For this box

My idrive controller does not work, so menu button press doesn't work either. Can I still use carplay?
If the idrive go Wong , you should try to fix it first , if that is wrong , it can not install CarPlay
when connect and wanting to go back to original ccc screen it just go fuzzy any reason why ?
You can check the video connection and the DIP settings.
Will this still work of my ccc unit is rebooting?
Mine works most of the time but often gets stuck in reboot.
if your original radio with rebooting problem, it need to fix the original radio first, because the apple carplay box, it transfer the power cable from OEM radio, also, the Carplay box , the sound work via factory unit (via AUX), If the original radio goes wrong, the Carplay also with problems (such as reboot or no sound etc..)
