Toyota Avensis 2.0 D4D T250, 2008 EGR cleaning

I did this video to demonstrate how easy it is to clean the ERG in a Toyota Avensis 2.0 D4D T25 2008, I used cheap and non destructive product to get it like new and remove a lot of carbon build up and it has greatly improved the power on the road 💥 hopefully this video can be of some help and it’s just a video to show how i do it and not a guide and do at your own Discretion, please give my video a like if you get some useful information and please subscribe

Followed your video,but I couldn't uncouple the wiring cluster. I decided not to stress the connections and just cleaned as best as I could with the wires attached.
Thank you and the cleaning seems to have reduced the amount of blue smoke on start up.

hello sir. i have a question, the part where u used the vacuum cleaner, is a part of the admision ? i mean if a piece of carbon goes inside it will be straight into the admision?

It was running nicely after the work was done and as far as I remember around 7/8 ltr per 100 km

It must be tightened to 22nm as far as I remember it’s in the video, but don’t over tighten it as it’s steel into aluminium

Just deactivate
