Another thing. If storing any mower that doesn't have a fuel cut off for say 2-3 months, it's best to empty the tank and run the mower till the gas runs out of the carb. Same way with two strokes as well. It saves the carburetors from gunking up.
How come you didn't clean fins on cylinder head and jug so it will have short life since dirt and oil on fins it can't cool properly to make last longer.

I only use gasoline without ethanol in my lawn power tools. Never have a problem. Plus ethanol in 2cycle is really bad.
