He is the judge, I understand that the judge with mistress could lost his job. She as the wife can file and request for compensation, and he is from rich family. So why not just keep collecting more evidence and file for huge compensation? That is much better. I find lawyer's family very annoying. Mother was giving cold shoulder to her husband because of his old crush. But when it comes to daughter in law, how dare is she to treat my son like that? Yes, Pi Young was not buying any of it at all. She literally got everything she needed to see when they started the affair and what gifts he gave her and so on. Like she was on a roll, and she didn't even flinch when things were unraveling. Hats off to her; she literally had her aunt pick up her daughter to spend the night and went home to unravel more. Dong Mi was shocked, and the way she attacked A Mi was hilarious to watch, and Pi Young just sitting there watching all this 😂😂😂😂 I laughed so hard. Dong Mi seemed to admit that their relationship was an affair when she asked Yu Shin if he had learned nothing from his father, but not in the did you not learn how to be faithful from watching your father way. It sounded more like a didn't you learn to not repeat your father's mistakes.

These episodes were INTENSE- was crying and laughing… respect to Dong-mi!! Her craziness was channeled in best way possible - she was my hero for the last scene and I could not stop laughing when the episode ended with her in full on crazy pose🤣😂🤣

And episode 10 was EPIIICCCC🔥🔥 The scene with Pi-young bringing both Dr.Shin and A mi to account and everything what happened before and after was just pure enjoyment!!! I rewatched it 3 times. I LOVE PI-Young’s CHARACTER & story. She handled the situation perfectly with elegance, class, dignity and self-respect. In my opinion episode 10 made up for all the the previous „imaginary scenes“ that got on my nerves. 👌🏾👌🏾 I also enjoyed Dong mi attacking Ami and loosing her composure 😂 it was just so hilarious I wouldn’t have expected anything less from her once she find out her plan was doomed from the beginning. Son Wong (pregnant lady) meeting Mr. Seo was unnecessary. Hoping Mr.Seo is interested in the writer lady. I have a feeling that they are gonna end up together. She deserves to feel loved and special plus it would treat her ex and Hye-Ryung a lesson. ….🙄Hye-Ryung needs to finally let So yeon gooooo. She constantly tyrannizes him while planning to revenge cheat which is the most pathetic thing one can do. On top of that she acts all smart and strong even though she’s not better than any of the other women as she has a pregnant mistress to deal with lol. Agreed. But I do understand why Hye-Ryung react this way.. I think the authors wrote the story of three wives in their 30s, 40s and 50s, and it is not unexpectable for me to see how woman at 30s would be like as Hye-Ryung. Among these three wives, Hye-Ryung is the youngest, she is not as experienced and mentally matured as what 40s and 50s would be. She reminds me when I caught my ex cheating when I was in my 20s, and now, I felt like that was silly of me. That time I felt, I wanted to win the other girl. But now I felt that if it is not right just leave it, no need to waste your valuable time and mental health.

I knew there was a reason why I loved pi-young since the beginning of the show. She adores yu-shin but I knew in the back of my mind that once she found out he was cheating, she would kick him to the curb with no hesitations. I loved episode 10!!!
Best pay off ever! I think Pi young handled the situation the best I feel like it’s the most realistic portrayal out of all the couples put both of them on the spot so Yusin can’t lie to her and she can hear her side of the story before Yusin can manipulate A Mi of a lie because out of all the husbands he is the best at manipulating people. I’m glad the Song Won told Sa Hyeon the truth is he needs to take responsibility and stop putting her in a situation that affects her health and health of the baby. I’m so sick of him not taking accountability for his actions and creating this situation and not staying true to his word because it’s pathetic at this point. Hye Rung honestly I’m glad she’s looking at other options and making a plan to move on from Sa Hyeon Ho it’s what best for her and their relationship at this point. I’m so glad the mother in law smacked the hell out Yu sin that was so satisfying to watch it was beautiful then she came after A Mi the only mistress that hasn’t been beat up at this point Na bin and I’m waiting for that day the daughter confronts her! That will be the day! She out of all the mistresses hasn’t really suffered the brunt of her affair and I need a pay off for that too.
I truly hope that the wives get some vindication before the end of this show. I hate how these cheating men are getting everything they want. I'm so hurt that Pi-Young's husband doesn't actually love her. Wow, I feel so bad for her, why did he pretend so well? And his mistress is ugly! I hate this show, but can't stop watching it. Best episode so far. I really felt for Pi-Young when she ran out of A-Mi's apartment, she had been a great wife to Yu-Shin and now to see her go through this l was hurt for her. However throughout the entire episode she executes and makes Yu-Shin look like the clown he is, he's been so confident with his BS that he forgot the woman his wife really is. Pi-young knows what needs to be done and she will do it. Dong mi said it best when she told A-mi that she wasn't a 10th of the woman Pi-Young is.
Really? What did she actually do? She's a wife who lives in an apartment that her husband bought, driving a car that her husband gave her. She lives the life of a queen before she realizes the "affair", which shows that despite having an affair, Yu Shin treated her much better than normal couple. Why are those gestures overlooked? Caring and loving during an affair is less than no caring or loving without and affair? If love is expressed through gestures and action, why wouldn't the presence of those gestures or actions be a proof of love? You can't love 2 people? Who said that? South Korea even had a anti-adultery law that was revoked no more than 6 years ago, so if it was still in effect Sahyeon would be facing some jail-time. Also in the Arabian Emirates Song Won would be jailed for sleeping with a married man.

Episode 9 was good, but dang, episode 10 was epic! I'll start with Sa Hyeon and Song Won. I don't know if Song Won being all polite and innocent is getting on my nerves or if it's the fact that Sa Hyeon is like such a pathetic loser wanting to be with Song Won so badly and him talking crap about his wife saying it's unbearable to be with her that's working my last nerves. This whole family, I'm so done with the father, the mother, and both Sa Hyeon and Song Won. As far as Hye Ryoung, that girl wants trouble, and she always wants rich men 🤑 😂 She needs to move on. She's dragging herself along while trying to be with a cheating husband who lets her know he doesn't want her from his actions. Let's move to Pi Young and Yoo Shin, like episode 10 has to be my favorite, and this couple has to be my favorite because Pi Young actually stood up to A Mi and asked her questions in her house. I did feel bad for Pi Young the whole two episodes because she was unraveling her husband's affair. She was lost and couldn't believe what she was going through, and she saw Yoo Shin and A Mi hug at the hospital. 😮 Like that's a big blow to see your perfect husband in someone else’s arms. The whole time she lost her mom, and she couldn't talk, I feel she got to think things over and cry out her feelings. The way she handled a lot of the situation was amazing to watch. Also, can I give it up for Dong Mi, like she is such a crazy woman, but I had satisfaction watching her attack A Mi and slap Yoo Shin!!! I was laughing the whole time and clapping all by myself, watching this craziness unfold. I can't wait for next week to see what kind of lies Yoo Shin will say and do. He is the most selfish of all of the men in a different way because he didn't even deny being in love with A Mi and wanted her to help him out because he doesn't want a divorce. He doesn't want his daughter to go through all this mess and be alone and have a terrible reputation of him as a father. Hmmm, 🤔 didn't he think about all this before he dipped into having an affair??? He doesn't want his image spoiled. Also, A Mi saying that their relationship isn't what Pi Young thinks is not shocking to see because side chicks will do anything to keep their men, I guess. 😂😂 she looks dumb, and Pi Young caught on!!!
Of all the three mistress, I think Ami is the worst. And in episode 10 I feel so satisfied seeing Dongmi did that. Yushin should come clean when Ami said they are in love and he can deny it. At least he has 1% to reconcile with PY but NO he kept quiet. I wish that PY can see Ami phone so that she can read all the message deleted by Yushin. Now I learn not to trust the clip shown on next episode, for all we know it is just in their mind.

Dong Mi was a life saver here. She might me doing this to herself so she can have Yu shin to herself but I was smiling when she attacked A mi and A mi had the nerve to glare at her!? Does she realize she is dealing with two women with lion power. Dong mi was right she not even the 10th of the women compared to Pi Young. A-mi deserved to have whiskey poured on her and get her hair pulled. She is so weak, and during the trailer for the next episode, Dong mi said if you let the mistress have her way, you make her win and I agree and I hope Pi young fights more. I do hope the engineer can be with the writer. Based how I see episode 9 he seems to care about her. I mean he even helped her carry the drinks. So I do hope I see one on one with the both of them because I can see them be a couple plus her kids like him as well. Despite the daughter not meeting him yet but knows his age. Plus I want that jerk of an ex husband to find out and feel guilty for cheating on her for a singer who probably doesn’t even love him!

I finally breathed a huge sigh of relief after episode 10. Who would have thought we would be cheering for crazy step mom when she went bat shit crazy on Ami and the doctor. Loved when the doctor went off on his wife feeling so sorry for himself. He said some of the stupidest, nastiest shit to her. Showed what an immature sucky baby he is. Poor baby had to admit himself in the hospital, because he needed to regain his strength. PY let’s him go on and on showing his true colours. But then, then, when sitting in the car, she turns to him slowly and says “put good old Ami’s address in there.” It was beautiful, made him eat all that shit he just tried to feed her. F’ing douche bag. And for all of us that are Team Writer, I think we are all going to be extremely disappointed. I seriously think the writers are going to put the interpreter and the engineer together. The writers want the DJ on bended knee like PY is in these episodes. The interpreter having her husband’s baby didn’t do it, but maybe the engineer dating the interpreter will. It just makes perfect sense. Ep. 10 made up for every other episodes prior to it. Looking back on how all three wives handled the affairs is a good representation of different women out there but I can also see myself probably going through all of those reactions in different stages after finding out. Everything Piyoung got to say and do was sooo satisfying. I will sleep well tonight-all is right in the world! Note: I can’t believe A-mi swore on both her parents that she was not lying. I’m not sure if the writers are thinking that because she is from America, she would not know better and would be more likely to put things on their parents without a second thought BUT that was the worse, not only is she a home wrecker but a selfish daughter as well. A-mi’s mom seemed like she loved her very much. Almost all cultures understand what swearing on your parents would mean. That was low.
So I wonder if something will happen to Ami’s parents since it looks like her mom is coming to Korea and maybe she will find out who her dad is. That’s what she will get for having such a loose tongue.

WOW is right! These 2 episodes were really good. I have to say I have been a defender of Sae-hyeon, but his immaturity is getting on my nerves. I still believe he needs to go to Hye-ryung and tell her he wants a divorce so he can be with Song Won, but I really hate that he is so intimidated by her that he just folds every time she demands something from him. Now he wants to go ask a fortune teller to see if he and Song Won are destined to be with each other?!? I guess in Korean culture fortune tellers hold a lot of weight, but he just needs to man up and handle his business. Hye-ryung running after Mr. Seo like a puppy is so pitiful. I think now that she knows Mr. Seo is a son of the SF Electronics guy and also the brother of Dong-ma, the wheels are turning in her conniving little head as to which rich brother she will seduce and leave Sae-Hyeon for. She's having a lot of fun in her little fantasy world right now. I really felt badly for Pi-young. Up until now, I was wanting to see her eat crow when she faced her mom after finding out about Yu-sin, but when the time actually came, Pi-Young was so crushed and felt so guilty, I didn't get any joy from seeing that. It was very sad but I am glad that she got to reconcile with her mom before she died, albeit in a very unconventional way. I loved how she handled Yu-sin and the reveal of her knowing about A Mi. I honestly don't think Yu-sin had any idea Pi-Young knew about A Mi until she told him to go to her address when they were in his car. He was just under the impression that she was mute because of the shock of her mom, but when she told him to go to A mi's address, he looked like he was gonna shit himself. Pi-young handled that whole situation like a straight up B-O-S-S! I loved every minute of it. Once she told Dong-mi, I was kinda surprised by her reaction. I didn't think she would be ready to cut a bitch, but Dong-mi is gangster I guess. I don't like that Dong-mi grabbed A Mi. I hate when adults bring violence into a situation because they should know better, but I get why her emotions were so raw. So to mention other minor story lines: Where are the writers taking Ghost grandpa? That one scene where he was checking out the bathing suit beauty near the pool was definitely weird AF. Also, Auntie said something about Pi-young's mom maturing in hell?!? Did she really not love her sister and that was all an act? I do think that Mr. Seo wrote that message to the radio talk show and I think it was about Si-eun. I would like to see them get together for sure. Also, I am not sure but I think in a previous episode when Yu-sin called A Mi, the title for him that showed up on her phone was MY LOVER or LOVER or something to that effect. That's why he looked so panicked when Pi-young asked A Mi for her phone. Okay, thanks for the review and I will see everyone at the livestream on Tuesday.

Episode 10 was a life giving episode. I was on the edge of my seat from the 20 min mark until the end of previews for next weeks episode. And you didn't mention it but I believe hye- ryeung is gonna be pregnant now. Based off the conversation they had about her being hungry. I really want her to be because them just ended up divorced seems too undeserving

first TY for this recap. The 30-year-old couple- mistress. having children and a son is very very important in many cultures. The mistress not being able to have a child destroyed her identity as a woman and a wife. I do think the mistress cares about baby daddy but does want to do the right thing. Her total focus is her baby. The 30-year-old husband has been raised by a traditional mother who did everything for her family and a husband that has great expectations of a picture-perfect wife. the father is a distant do what he wants guy. I really think the mistress words to the father on how to treat the wife seemed to really be a light bulb moment for the father. 30-year-old wife just yells and corrects her husband. husband just looks into the distance- Lack of communication is the cause of so many problems. The 40-year-old husband wins the jerk of the year award. Manipulating his wife child stepmom and mistress. He needs to face facts and worry about his stocks bonds property and bank acct cause it is you get half time. The 40-year-old wife will be fine she has found her true self and now will be a lioness. The 50-year-old couple let's realize the wife is getting her footing. I think of all the mistresses, I dislike the pregnant one the most. She talks a great a good game, but she slept with a married man knowing his marriage was on the rocks. We don’t know, really. I think the writers are just using them so that us viewers can dedicate two hours a week to watching the show in hopes of getting a glimpse of them for more clues about them. Then we spend the rest of the week trying to figure out what purpose those two men have in this show based in new clues the writers gave us. We don’t know the dad. All we know is that the engineer is his older son from his first wife and the step brother his other son with his second wife. We don’t know the age gap between the engineer and his step brother, do we? Does anyone? Seems like the step brother is about 35 or so. If the engineer’s dad remarried after his mom passed that would make the engineer around 62. Didn’t we think he was in his 50s? If he’s in his 50s, that would mean his dad maybe cheated on his wife and had the step brother with his then mistress and now wife???

On Episode 15 Season 2: I much prefer GaBin and Dong Ma together. They are both young and good looking. The professor was out of her league being older and not so good looking. I want to see the wife rejecting him and going against her principle that a mother s happiness can be sacrificed for the children s sake. I would like to see her loosen up and enjoy life instead of always cooking for the kids. I am still irritated that there was no follow up on A Mi s Dad who fell off the horse two episodes back. Y u Shin should really tell both women in the house to leave and not just say it without conviction Although I was confused when he told Dong Mi to leave. Wasnt he living in his late father s house which Dong Mi owns because his house with Pi Young was already for sale?. I love the part when the Pi Young offers coffee to A Mi. It was a classy move. That shows that Yu Shin is no longer important to her. I think the writers should wrap every loose ends of the subplots. There wwre too many scenes that were misleading without follow ups. Like Seo asking the pregnant mistress to learn English, A Mi s father, Dong Ma having dinner with the DJ and Dong Mi s romantic feeling for her step son. The scenes that were repetitious and didn't move the stories were the scenes of parents and pregnant mistress and the ghost. They were fill in.. They are running out of fresh ideas.

That wasn’t a good scene because she’s shameless treating her mom like trash and wanting forgiveness after death; continually abusing her beautiful mother! I have ZERO empathy for her NONE! I wish adultery was still illegal in SK. 😂 I know freedom of choice or whatever, but people like Dr. Shin... the deepest circle in hell is for betrayers, but I wish we could give them a taste on earth. 😏 Watching his “Good Son, Good Husband, Good Father, Good Doctor” role fall apart as he chastises his wife for her perceived grief was one of the more painful moments of the show. Not because it was emotionally taxing, but because his narcissistic behavior was unraveling before my eyes and I could see just how manipulative, controlling and unfeeling this man really is. To watch A-Mi literally glare at Dong-Mi for speaking the truth on her character and to see her confidently and arrogantly tell Pi-Young what car Dr. Shin bought her really made me cheer for Dong-Mi’s actions even though I don’t believe in violence in most situations. Side note, I don’t think Pi-Young said horrible/terrible things to her mother. I think she told her what she felt - what most children of divorce feel like. I never found it to be fair that women especially tend to cut their children off from their fathers after a particularly difficult divorce. The man, as long as he is willing and wanting to, deserves to build a relationship with his children outside of his failed marriage. His relationship with his child doesn’t have to fail and I think that’s what Pi-Young was saying to her. There was no need to be spiteful because he cheated on you. Yes, he betrayed his family, but he still loved his kid... Can’t wait for the next two episodes. Everything is coming to a head and I just want to see the wives free of their husbands and moved on with their lives. Hae-Ryung deserves a family that will cherish her and not side with their son when he’s a royal fcuk up simply because he knocked up a girl. She deserves to live judgment free just as she is and the same goes for all the other women. Is there a season 3?
I agree with everything you said!!! I have had complicated feelings towards my parents, so I really resonated and felt for Pi-young being upset with her mom. It was raw and real. Her mom was in between excuses and asking for forgiveness, so I can see how it was hard for their relationship to mend. I'm glad that in the end Pi-young forgave her mom. It helps with healing those old wounds. Very hard to watch. Her aunt got on my last nerve from beginning to end. She spoke like her sister was a saint even though Pi-young and her mom acknowledged the wrongdoings within their relationship. The show threw me off with her death because when she invited her to bring in the Lunar year with everyone I thought that there would be some growth in their relationship in a positive way.
@@ihatejellybeans7375 Life doesn’t always go to plan. This happened in my own life and all I can say is that regret and guilt are the two worst human emotions you can feel. They’re debilitating and take a long time to heal from. I understand that PiYoung will have a very difficult decision ahead of her because of her own personal experience, but I must say, choosing the kid is fine, but I don’t think that it sets a good example for the child. Best to choose yourself and coparent to the best of your ability.

I think his access to his daughter should be determined by Ji-a herself. Maybe if initially the song is too bad she may not be ready to face him. But it shouldn't be mom's decision, and the father daughter relationship should be encouraged.
The mothers don’t cut the relationship with the father just because he cheated on her. that's cool, but i still stand behind what i said. its not just the fact that they "are there". it's the choice of using them in certain shots to contrast what's happening between the same people in those photographs, (fights/arguments) right in front of them, going all the way back to season 1, used in scenes with all 3 couples/families. There's also pi young's mom taking a picture of their family portrait for herself, and then later she is the reason pi young is finally able to confirm yu shins affair (by going to the same hospital), ultimately leading to the symbolic dismantling of that same family portrait. At the scene i spoke of in this video, why not have that shot blocked in such a way that we are looking in at the mother with the family on their side of the window? that would be a more "normal way" to shoot it... instead it's more like the audience is on the side of the glass the mother is... looking at the family in the box of the window frame. these decisions are never made without reason in filmmaking of any kind of quality. 100% intentional use of an extended motif IMO :)
Honestly, for the lawyer is Hye they should not have gotten married. I actually like the mistress but did not like the husband cheating he obviously wanted to break it off from earlier and he should of done so plus Hye behaviour annoys me and she would not treat her husband good or out of respect and scared him. He now has drifted away and her ideal person is rich and muscular with abs and whatever and forced him to work out too. They should of discussed it but Hye is like that so it would not have worked since they both dont love each other and she wants to keep her pride and knows she can switch men and have her life smooth and whatever. They should divorce, (also to add he wanted a child too and had to sacrifice that for her plus sacrifice his peace of mind but did wrong by finding comfort elsewhere) he should of ended it looks like he hasn't been scared enough but they seem also like they can work out. If they let him be with Gabin they should not be able to have child since he cant even care emotionally for his rather than financially. Lawyer and Song Yuan should maybe be together but go through a rough patch so he can mature but also get guilt from his cheating.

Pi young’s reaction to her husband‘s infidelity is probably my favorite. I think her not being able to talk allowed her to claim some clarity. Because when you’re alone with your thoughts you really think about what you’re about to say and she decided.

I think the authors wrote the story of three wives in their 30s, 40s and 50s, and it is not unexpectable for me to see how woman at 30s would be like as Hye-Ryung. Among these three wives, Hye-Ryung is the youngest, she is not as experienced and mentally matured as what 40s and 50s would be. She reminds me when I caught my ex cheating when I was in my 20s, and now, I felt like that was silly of me. That time I felt, I wanted to win the other girl. But now I felt that if it is not right just leave it, no need to waste your valuable time and mental health.

I’m glad the Song Won told Sa Hyeon the truth is he needs to take responsibility and stop putting her in a situation that affects her health and health of the baby. Hye Rung honestly I’m glad she’s looking at other options and making a plan to move on from Sa Hyeon Ho it’s what best for her and their relationship at this point.

Best episode so far. I really felt for Pi-Young when she ran out of A-Mi's apartment, she had been a great wife to Yu-Shin and now to see her go through this l was hurt for her. However throughout the entire episode she executes and makes Yu-Shin look like the clown he is, he's been so confident with his BS that he forgot the woman his wife really is. Pi-young knows what needs to be done and she will do it. Dong mi said it best when she told A-mi that she wasn't a 10th of the woman Pi-Young is.

Episode 9 was good, but dang, episode 10 was epic! I'll start with Sa Hyeon and Song Won. I don't know if Song Won being all polite and innocent is getting on my nerves or if it's the fact that Sa Hyeon is like such a pathetic loser wanting to be with Song Won so badly and him talking crap about his wife saying it's unbearable to be with her that's working my last nerves. This whole family, I'm so done with the father, the mother, and both Sa Hyeon and Song Won. As far as Hye Ryoung, that girl wants trouble, and she always wants rich men 🤑 😂 She needs to move on. She's dragging herself along while trying to be with a cheating husband who lets her know he doesn't want her from his actions.
Let's move to Pi Young and Yoo Shin, like episode 10 has to be my favorite, and this couple has to be my favorite because Pi Young actually stood up to A Mi and asked her questions in her house. I did feel bad for Pi Young the whole two episodes because she was unraveling her husband's affair. She was lost and couldn't believe what she was going through, and she saw Yoo Shin and A Mi hug at the hospital. 😮 Like that's a big blow to see your perfect husband in someone else’s arms. The whole time she lost her mom, and she couldn't talk, I feel she got to think things over and cry out her feelings. The way she handled a lot of the situation was amazing to watch. Also, can I give it up for Dong Mi, like she is such a crazy woman, but I had satisfaction watching her attack A Mi and slap Yoo Shin!!! I was laughing the whole time and clapping all by myself, watching this craziness unfold. I can't wait for next week to see what kind of lies Yoo Shin will say and do. He is the most selfish of all of the men in a different way because he didn't even deny being in love with A Mi and wanted her to help him out because he doesn't want a divorce. He doesn't want his daughter to go through all this mess and be alone and have a terrible reputation of him as a father. Hmmm, 🤔 didn't he think about all this before he dipped into having an affair??? He doesn't want his image spoiled. Also, A Mi saying that their relationship isn't what Pi Young thinks is not shocking to see because side chicks will do anything to keep their men, I guess. 😂😂 she looks dumb, and Pi Young caught on!!!

Dong Mi was a life saver here. She might me doing this to herself so she can have Yu shin to herself but I was smiling when she attacked A mi and A mi had the nerve to glare at her!? Does she realize she is dealing with two women with lion power. Dong mi was right she not even the 10th of the women compared to Pi Young. A-mi deserved to have whiskey poured on her and get her hair pulled. She is so weak, and during the trailer for the next episode, Dong mi said if you let the mistress have her way, you make her win and I agree and I hope Pi young fights more.
I do hope the engineer can be with the writer. Based how I see episode 9 he seems to care about her. I mean he even helped her carry the drinks. Ep. 10 made up for every other episodes prior to it. Looking back on how all three wives handled the affairs is a good representation of different women out there but I can also see myself probably going through all of those reactions in different stages after finding out. Everything Piyoung got to say and do was sooo satisfying. I will sleep well tonight-all is right in the world! Note: I can’t believe A-mi swore on both her parents that she was not lying. I’m not sure if the writers are thinking that because she is from America, she would not know better and would be more likely to put things on their parents without a second thought BUT that was the worse, not only is she a home wrecker but a selfish daughter as well. A-mi’s mom seemed like she loved her very much. Almost all cultures understand what swearing on your parents would mean. That was low.
So I wonder if something will happen to Ami’s parents since it looks like her mom is coming to Korea and maybe she will find out who her dad is. That’s what she will get for having such a loose tongue.

WOW is right! These 2 episodes were really good. I have to say I have been a defender of Sae-hyeon, but his immaturity is getting on my nerves. I still believe he needs to go to Hye-ryung and tell her he wants a divorce so he can be with Song Won, but I really hate that he is so intimidated by her that he just folds every time she demands something from him. Now he wants to go ask a fortune teller to see if he and Song Won are destined to be with each other?!? I guess in Korean culture fortune tellers hold a lot of weight, but he just needs to man up and handle his business. Hye-ryung running after Mr. Seo like a puppy is so pitiful. I think now that she knows Mr. Seo is a son of the SF Electronics guy and also the brother of Dong-ma, the wheels are turning in her conniving little head as to which rich brother she will seduce and leave Sae-Hyeon for. She's having a lot of fun in her little fantasy world right now. I really felt badly for Pi-young. Up until now, I was wanting to see her eat crow when she faced her mom after finding out about Yu-sin, but when the time actually came, Pi-Young was so crushed and felt so guilty, I didn't get any joy from seeing that. It was very sad but I am glad that she got to reconcile with her mom before she died, albeit in a very unconventional way. I loved how she handled Yu-sin and the reveal of her knowing about A Mi. I honestly don't think Yu-sin had any idea Pi-Young knew about A Mi until she told him to go to her address when they were in his car. He was just under the impression that she was mute because of the shock of her mom, but when she told him to go to A mi's address, he looked like he was gonna shit himself. Pi-young handled that whole situation like a straight up B-O-S-S! I loved every minute of it. Once she told Dong-mi, I was kinda surprised by her reaction. I didn't think she would be ready to cut a bitch, but Dong-mi is gangster I guess. I don't like that Dong-mi grabbed A Mi. I hate when adults bring violence into a situation because they should know better, but I get why her emotions were so raw. So to mention other minor story lines: Where are the writers taking Ghost grandpa? That one scene where he was checking out the bathing suit beauty near the pool was definitely weird AF. Also, Auntie said something about Pi-young's mom maturing in hell?!? Did she really not love her sister and that was all an act? I do think that Mr. Seo wrote that message to the radio talk show and I think it was about Si-eun. I would like to see them get together for sure. Also, I am not sure but I think in a previous episode when Yu-sin called A Mi, the title for him that showed up on her phone was MY LOVER or LOVER or something to that effect. That's why he looked so panicked when Pi-young asked A Mi for her phone. Okay, thanks for the review and I will see everyone at the livestream on Tuesday.

We don’t know, really. I think the writers are just using them so that us viewers can dedicate two hours a week to watching the show in hopes of getting a glimpse of them for more clues about them. Then we spend the rest of the week trying to figure out what purpose those two men have in this show based in new clues the writers gave us.
We don’t know the dad. All we know is that the engineer is his older son from his first wife and the step brother his other son with his second wife.
We don’t know the age gap between the engineer and his step brother, do we? Does anyone? Seems like the step brother is about 35 or so. If the engineer’s dad remarried after his mom passed that would make the engineer around 62. Didn’t we think he was in his 50s? If he’s in his 50s, that would mean his dad maybe cheated on his wife and had the step brother with his then mistress and now wife???
In the preview for the next episode the engineer was with Song Won and he said something about staying single.

On Episode 15 Season 2: I much prefer GaBin and Dong Ma together. They are both young and good looking. The professor was out of her league being older and not so good looking. Although I was confused when he told Dong Mi to leave. Wasnt he living in his late father s house which Dong Mi owns because his house with Pi Young was already for sale?. I love the part when the Pi Young offers coffee to A Mi. It was a classy move. That shows that Yu Shin is no longer important to her. I think the writers should wrap every loose ends of the subplots. There wwre too many scenes that were misleading without follow ups. Like Seo asking the pregnant mistress to learn English, A Mi s father, Dong Ma having dinner with the DJ and Dong Mi s romantic feeling for her step son. The scenes that were repetitious and didn't move the stories were the scenes of parents and pregnant mistress and the ghost. They were fill in.. They are running out of fresh ideas.

I wish adultery was still illegal in SK. 😂 I know freedom of choice or whatever, but people like Dr. Shin... the deepest circle in hell is for betrayers, but I wish we could give them a taste on earth. 😏 Watching his “Good Son, Good Husband, Good Father, Good Doctor” role fall apart as he chastises his wife for her perceived grief was one of the more painful moments of the show. Not because it was emotionally taxing, but because his narcissistic behavior was unraveling before my eyes and I could see just how manipulative, controlling and unfeeling this man really is. To watch A-Mi literally glare at Dong-Mi for speaking the truth on her character and to see her confidently and arrogantly tell Pi-Young what car Dr. Shin bought her really made me cheer for Dong-Mi’s actions even though I don’t believe in violence in most situations.
Side note, I don’t think Pi-Young said horrible/terrible things to her mother. I think she told her what she felt - what most children of divorce feel like. I never found it to be fair that women especially tend to cut their children off from their fathers after a particularly difficult divorce. The man, as long as he is willing and wanting to, deserves to build a relationship with his children outside of his failed marriage. His relationship with his child doesn’t have to fail and I think that’s what Pi-Young was saying to her. There was no need to be spiteful because he cheated on you. Yes, he betrayed his family, but he still loved his kid...
Can’t wait for the next two episodes. Everything is coming to a head and I just want to see the wives free of their husbands and moved on with their lives. Hae-Ryung deserves a family that will cherish her and not side with their son when he’s a royal fcuk up simply because he knocked up a girl. She deserves to live judgment free just as she is and the same goes for all the other women. Is there a season 3?
I agree with everything you said!!! I have had complicated feelings towards my parents, so I really resonated and felt for Pi-young being upset with her mom. It was raw and real. Her mom was in between excuses and asking for forgiveness, so I can see how it was hard for their relationship to mend. I'm glad that in the end Pi-young forgave her mom. It helps with healing those old wounds. Very hard to watch. Her aunt got on my last nerve from beginning to end. She spoke like her sister was a saint even though Pi-young and her mom acknowledged the wrongdoings within their relationship. The show threw me off with her death because when she invited her to bring in the Lunar year with everyone I thought that there would be some growth in their relationship in a positive way.
@@ihatejellybeans7375 Life doesn’t always go to plan. This happened in my own life and all I can say is that regret and guilt are the two worst human emotions you can feel. They’re debilitating and take a long time to heal from. I understand that PiYoung will have a very difficult decision ahead of her because of her own personal experience, but I must say, choosing the kid is fine, but I don’t think that it sets a good example for the child. Best to choose yourself and coparent to the best of your ability.

I think his access to his daughter should be determined by Ji-a herself. Maybe if initially the song is too bad she may not be ready to face him. But it shouldn't be mom's decision, and the father daughter relationship should be encouraged.

Actually the family photos are extremely common in Korea I like your idea but it is just there for the family lol
that's cool, but i still stand behind what i said. its not just the fact that they "are there". it's the choice of using them in certain shots to contrast what's happening between the same people in those photographs, (fights/arguments) right in front of them, going all the way back to season 1, used in scenes with all 3 couples/families. There's also pi young's mom taking a picture of their family portrait for herself, and then later she is the reason pi young is finally able to confirm yu shins affair (by going to the same hospital), ultimately leading to the symbolic dismantling of that same family portrait.
At the scene i spoke of in this video, why not have that shot blocked in such a way that we are looking in at the mother with the family on their side of the window? that would be a more "normal way" to shoot it... instead it's more like the audience is on the side of the glass the mother is... looking at the family in the box of the window frame. these decisions are never made without reason in filmmaking of any kind of quality. 100% intentional use of an extended motif IMO :)
Honestly, for the lawyer is Hye they should not have gotten married. I actually like the mistress but did not like the husband cheating he obviously wanted to break it off from earlier and he should of done so plus Hye behaviour annoys me and she would not treat her husband good or out of respect and scared him. He now has drifted away and her ideal person is rich and muscular with abs and whatever and forced him to work out too. They should of discussed it but Hye is like that so it would not have worked since they both dont love each other and she wants to keep her pride and knows she can switch men and have her life smooth and whatever. They should divorce, (also to add he wanted a child too and had to sacrifice that for her plus sacrifice his peace of mind but did wrong by finding comfort elsewhere) he should of ended it looks like he hasn't been scared enough but they seem also like they can work out. The mistress and his parents are cute I wish she wasn't pregnant and he had some other older brother who was attracted to her and when her and the lawyer dude breaks up they could be together since her and his parents click. Miss P and that sad excuse of a husband, She did good with cutting it off and him talk about being a manipulator much. Even lying he was all words and no actions. His wife was so good to him where did she go wrong but at the same time the person you give your all to and value might not think the same of you and she really loved him. Not even that but his wife might be older but she seems young in behaviour at time also where did she go wrong. Is it that she also independent in a sense and A Mi is like some lost puppy and you like that. It's funny how they cheat with the same group of friends while there wives are also the same group of friends. He was the worst of the three even bringing his mistress to lie infront of his wife. Miss Writer must be upset she is such a hard working wife but ill say what destroyed their relationship. They didnt spend much time together and had fun and relate on some sense. She isnt taking care of herself properly and husband is lacking when it comes on to parental duties if he also assisted there would be time for them she worked so hard for him and he dropped her for what? I called it that Hye would go after Mr. Seo younger brother but I also thought that Piyoung would be would Mr. Seo since they also have that best friend vibe of a relationship would is good not just love but friendship but it may also be possibly he ends up with the Writer or Song Yuan? I don't really wish for that to happen though him and Piyoung seems like they would do well.
