It's interesting that when I lived in South Africa, avocado trees were everywhere and you simply plucked the fruit from the trees. You never bought them; they were so commonplace. Here in the UK, one Hass avocado in a supermarket can cost you around £1.20. Just to add, "Avocado prices [in the USA] have rocketed in recent years by up to 129%, with the average national price of a single Hass avocado reaching , almost doubling in just one year." £1.20 would be translated to 120.06 in Indian rupees. A fabulous amount, I should think, for most earners. I don't think avocados are that popular in the UK, perhaps because of cost or people are unsure what to with them or they're not to everyone's taste. It's simple, in my case. Mash the pulp with some salt, ground black peppercorns and the sightest dash of white vinegar. Then I toast sourdough bread, layer unsalted butter on it, and then a great mound of the avocado mash. Bliss!
@@Asa...S ....Thanks for your really interesting view from Sweden. I guess the point is that the fruit itself hardly costs anything; it's the shipping or haulage, and, of course, the profit margin in doing so. Må alltid bra! Robert, UK.
I live in California which grows avocados yet the avocados in our markets are imported from Mexico. Someone said that when California avocados are not in season, the Mexican avocados are and that's why we see Mexican avocados. I don't believe that's true. I almost never see a California grown avocado anymore no matter what time of year I check. Apparently California avocados are exported while we import avocados into our state from Mexico. It's the avocado cartel that's behind this nonsense. I know it's sounds far fetched but there really is an avocado cartel.
@@2eleven48 Yeah, shipping, hauing, taxes... also avocado also seem to have a very short time when it's good, it´s always like way too hard, too hard, and then it´s like a day window when it´s perfect and then it´s suddenly brown inside, so they probably have to throw away a lot too, which cost a lot. Hope you stay well too!
Here in our country. When it's fruit season, most of these fruits just fall and rott on the ground. We usually mix this with sugar and milk to make it sweet. If the price is really $5 I would be rich already.

Sarru said he would like to see the people who eat avocado everyday to see if they healthy. I’m from Mexico 🇲🇽 and most of us eat avocado daily. Unfortunately, there are a lot of obese people in Mexico, but it is mostly because people drink a lot of sugar drinks and eat fattening snacks; we also have many people with diabetes. Mexico is a beautiful country with an outstanding gastronomy, but we could do better health-wise
I am so glad, it seems you ripened the avocados properly. They are bland and tasteless but are rich and creamy like butter, but they are hard and bitter if they are unripe. I would love to see them travel to Mexico and eat authentic Mexican food. Many of the world's favorite foods come from there, like hot peppers and chocolate.
They have their own taste, it's just not overpowering like may other flavors... So, yes, a bit bland, I suppose. But, that's why you add other things like tomatoes, onions, salt, a little lime juice, etc.
You should encourage them to start growing avocados, especially if they are so valuable there, i bet they would grow well in India as well, not too different a climate from Mexico's or California...
I looked it up, looks like it's too hot and dry: "In India, avocado is not a commercial fruit crop. ... In a very limited scale and in a scattered way it is grown in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka in the south-central India and in the eastern Himalayan state of Sikkim. It can not tolerate the hot dry winds and frosts of northern India."
I love how Raju describes avocado as "bland". I like avocados now that I am an adult, but I used to tell my mother that they had no taste - and when she added them to her salads, it just made them more bland.
Thank you. They clearly enjoyed this. You should show them what an avacado looks like and also show it on the tree. You should tell them where it comes from and show this too.

Avocado toast has become quite a trendy item here in the states. Avocado thankfully is quite bountiful and is one the earths healthiest foods. Great protein and full of healthy fats. You can flavor it many ways.
to answer Sarru's final question: Avocadoes have a very oily substance, opposed to a more carby carby cellulose base of apples watermelon etc. So people who eat avocado everyday are getting a lot of healthy fats, not unsimilar to the fats that occur naturally in fish. This makes avocado a popular breakfast addition for people who have a long day ahead of them, and also why people who eat a lot of avocado may gain some weight. Avocado oil is also extracted and used as a cooking oil or skin/hair oil.
Avocadoes might be ridicously expensive to these guys, but it's in NO way wasted on them. The curiosity, the joy and the exitement is only the beginning... Then they taste the guacamole, and for a few minutes their world is pure happiness

Central & South America knows the history of avocado since its native there, eaten since time immemorial. As I recall about guacamole, it has jalapeno chilli for that heat I've never tasted tomato
Here in Brazil we got avocado trees everywhere, in the backyard of my house there are at least 3 trees. When it's avocado season we pick it from the tree, take a spoon and eat it with sugar!
It's $3.33 USD in Bangkok for 500g (1.1lb) for half decent avocados. Also dairy products are expensive. I paid $15 AUD for 1kg of yoghurt from Australia. You gotta be rich in some parts of the world to afford the stuff you're used to back home.
On another video he mentioned that he had henna "tattoos" applied to his hands as part of the celebration of his sister's wedding. It's a common custom in India.
Great video. The neat part is they keep eating, and eating, and eating the guacamole. I would take that as a sign they like it very much. LOL Nice they are given the chance to taste foods they otherwise would never get the chance to enjoy.
Aman's henna is so beautifully done! Love these three ^^ Greetings from America! It makes sense that they'd be expensive in India- but 5.40 a pop! Holy cow! Here, from what I've seen, (since I like to go to multiple stores to find the best price) they range anywhere from 0.98 USD to 1.68 USD a piece. Man! if I had to buy one for 5.40, I'd never have avocados again. At least not willingly.
I loved all of the reactions to avocado however I was shocked at the price $5.40 for one OMG I live in Denver Colorado USA and we can get 10 avocados for $10 so they're only $1 each and a lot of people have these trees just growing in their backyard in the right temperatures India could definitely have avocado Farmers it has the right temperature and climate setting someone should look into that to bring the price of this fruit down so that people in India who are poor can't afford to eat it and enjoy it as well and it does have a lot of health benefits to it again all I can say is the shock of the price is just crazy to me
Raju said he has eaten sapodilla. That is a tropical New World fruit. (north and south America, Cuba and Jamaica other islands) Just like the potato, the tomato, squash, maise (corn), avocado, cacao (chocolate), papaya, peppers (chili's), pineapple, vanilla, legumes (beans) including: pinto beans, lima beans, kidney beans, and black beans, peanuts, and more.
If an avocado is very expensive it's good to know for those good with gardening that it's very easy to grow an avocado tree from the pit and have it grow fruits for you, my grandmother cracks the pit open just slightly and leaves it in water, then plants it when it's grown roots. If they're too expensive to purchase often one could grow them for their own home, or even sell some for good money perhaps! I'm glad they enjoyed, guacamole is universally delicious
I love Aman more and more every time I see him! Aman and Sarru are happy to try new food. Raju doesn’t seem to like new food. He seems to not want to eat more than a few bites every time.
I think when they get fruit/veg that they have never seen or experienced..they should be given the seeds and showen how to grow them if the climate allows it.
Take the pits and grow them. the more people grow the more affordable they become. The price is directly related to the fact that they are grown but only a limited number of farmers. I think because they take many years to start fruiting. But it's worth the wait. My favorite.
I wish I could send them Dulse. I would love to see the reactions. lol personally like but I only buy it once a year and only in a paper bag to keep it crispy
$4.50, that's alot for an avocado. Maybe they're cheaper in California because there are so many. I either buy them for .50 each or get a bulk free from neighbors that have 1 or more trees and dont want to waste all the fresh avocados about to fall.

Give them the seed from the avocado so they can grow them. They have a simular climate to Mexico, they could grow them easy. I started it in a glass of water until it sprouts about 8 inches and then planted them. I sure they can look up the correct way to do it on line.

I was hoping tortilla chips would be served with guac, what else (at least in my book lol)? I hope Sarru is OK, seems a little tired; I know he had been really sick, and I am sure things are stressful right now with the dengue. Thank you as always for the great videos ❤ Love from the USA
I hadn't heard he'd been sick! Any idea? I pray he's okay, I just love these guys. They feel like long distance family now! 😢
@@windywolf4842 Yes, he and Aman were sick with the dengue and had to be hospitalized. I imagine lots of friends and family have been affected, too. We do not have it here in the USA, but I guess it's a real problem right now in India and other areas. I agree that they are like family, hope everyone stays as well as possible
I eat guacamole every weekend, mmm I love it, crushed with lime, tomatoes, onions and salt
one thing I always notice about these villagers is that they are not greedy for the food. They may like it but they can stop eating it after one bite.
As a Mexican myself...they would love it with some cottage cheese and some lemon or lime and a dash of salt and pepper and some red chili flakes and cliarto.
We sometimes make our Guacamole spicy.
Gotta have cilantro, lime , and pepper . I was hoping a fellow Mexican was here .
@@texasslingleadsomtingwong8751 That's right! 👍
We invented Guacamole, that's part of our culture and we do it in many variety of ways.
Every Mexican has Guacamole in the refrigerator somewhere, we make it all the time, especially during the holidays.
It's a Mexican dish.
It's interesting that when I lived in South Africa, avocado trees were everywhere and you simply plucked the fruit from the trees. You never bought them; they were so commonplace. Here in the UK, one Hass avocado in a supermarket can cost you around £1.20.
Just to add, "Avocado prices [in the USA] have rocketed in recent years by up to 129%, with the average national price of a single Hass avocado reaching , almost doubling in just one year."
£1.20 would be translated to 120.06 in Indian rupees.
Bliss!
In Sweden they are really popular, on toast, in salads or as guacamole with tacos, but they often cost like 20 SEK which is like £1.70 or 160 rupees.
They are India, where only educated people know what avacodo even is.
Smashed Avocado on toast is a favourite breakfast and brunch meal in Australia
For the curious: Avocado is "Makhanphal" in their language
😆Aman says he's grown up. I guess he thinks he's had everything in his 18 years on earth. I enjoy these young people.
Ohh, I just got your video, I haven't watched it yet, but I'm sooo happy that Sarru is there to try that!!💓 Thank you!
Here in our country. When it's fruit season, most of these fruits just fall and rott on the ground.
We usually mix this with sugar and milk to make it sweet.
If the price is really $5 I would be rich already.
I think Aman is my new favourite. (They've all been my favourites). Has he been to a wedding? That's why he has henna on his hands? Is he drunk? Funny guy. He seems a bit more outspoken today. Now he's singing. Definately drunk.
This was fun. I hope Babu is well! xoxo from America!
Mexico is a beautiful country with an outstanding gastronomy, but we could do better health-wise
good that you feed aman. he seems very hungry and is also master of eating :D
Aman's personality is such a vibe he's so loud and bubbly lol
To the channel -- have you warned Aman not to harvest wild mushrooms without perfect knowledge? Some of us viewers are still worried from the other video!
This video was good; thank you.
He has been told that. Thanks
@@NoviceSquad Thanks, Novice Squad. I was one of the "still worried" viewers,
I was hoping tortilla chips would be served with guac, what else (at least in my book lol)? I hope Sarru is OK, seems a little tired; I know he had been really sick, and I am sure things are stressful right now with the dengue. Thank you as always for the great videos ❤ Love from the USA .... P.S. I love that song!! Great job Aman ❤
Sarru the wise today . The new one seems excited to experience these things and I’ve grew fond of him instantly.
This was really fun with the “ boys “.
We should all sing songs every day . I can’t sing well but I don’t think it matters . At least not here . They seem to appreciate the idea that to sing is the point. Period .
And I went and got guacamole after this .
I love this channel and the people on it .
Thank you to the staff who Awww to it that we are a part of their lives .
♥️♥️♥️
They dress so colorful!! Amazing! Why does Aman have henna decorations on his hands? 😍😍😍
In another video he stated that he had it done for brother's wedding
I adore watching these gentlemen try new things. It makes me so happy when they enjoy something. Each person brings a uniqueness to this channel I love that. I live in the USA could you have them try freshly made S’mores?
Central & South America knows the history of avocado since its native there, eaten since time immemorial. As I recall about guacamole, it has jalapeno chilli for that heat I've never tasted tomato
Here in Brazil we got avocado trees everywhere, in the backyard of my house there are at least 3 trees. When it's avocado season we pick it from the tree, take a spoon and eat it with sugar!
Aman cracked me up in this video.....and his song at the end was delightful!
I love aman he's a villager the others got very modern now.
In the states it's $0.80 for an avocado. It must be really hard for them to get. Love these guys. Sarru is a favorite.
more like $1.50 here (after conversion) and theyre often small and poor quality
I see them for $2 frequently in the Midwest. Sale price is $1 and we all load up!
Where I live avocados only cost $0.02 but you have to fight a wizard for them.
I probably should have said where I live.
Sarru is my FAVORITE in every video - he is a genuine youngin!
I've been waiting for GUACAMOLE!
Can't help to think that Aman looks like he is going to cast a spell on me with those hands haha, also when I see Sarru I miss Babu and Raen...
Love these three ^^
Greetings from America!
Guacamole is the best. You can put spicy peppers in it to make it less bland and extra garlic.
All the other fruits you eat sound wonderful..love to you all. Fun song at the end.
We serve this GUACAMOLE with chips at Parties, or when guests come!👍👍😁 As well as other dishes. 🥰🥰🥰
Add 🍋 lime 🧃 juice, 🧄 garlic, & 🌶 jalapeño. It's excellent!
I loved all of the reactions to avocado however I was shocked at the price $5.40 for one OMG I live in Denver Colorado USA and we can get 10 avocados for $10 so they're only $1 each and a lot of people have these trees just growing in their backyard in the right temperatures India could definitely have avocado Farmers it has the right temperature and climate setting someone should look into that to bring the price of this fruit down so that people in India who are poor can't afford to eat it and enjoy it as well and it does have a lot of health benefits to it again all I can say is the shock of the price is just crazy to me
They are all so terribly cute and open to learn new things!
I was wondering what to eat for dinner tonight. I have 2 avocadoes in the fridge so I think I'll have some salad with sliced avocado.
I'm living near the Mexican border this winter. Avocados are cheap and plentiful. I bought some for 25 cents recently. 🥑
In my place, we eat avocado not with salt, onions or tomato. We mix it with milk and sugar. I'm glad they're trying food again.
So good that they are all open to trying new foods. Hope to see Raeen and Babu back.
I'm digging that song and dance at the end.
we should call these 3 "the apprentices" and the other three ( Babu, Raeen and Akbar ) "the seniors"
I believe Raju once mentioned being a little shy about eating on camera ?
I think when they get fruit/veg that they have never seen or experienced..they should be given the seeds and showen how to grow them if the climate allows it.
Love guacamole! So happy they got to experience it as well😊
They should try sliced and seasoned Avocado slices with their traditional rice dishes.
These guys just make me happy
Thank you for sharing something truly nutritious with our Hindi brothers!
It sounds like the avocados were ripe. I'm glad to see that because unripened avocados are hard and they don't taste good.
Take the pits and grow them. the more people grow the more affordable they become. The price is directly related to the fact that they are grown but only a limited number of farmers. I think because they take many years to start fruiting. But it's worth the wait. My favorite.
Don't worry about price plant the seed see on youtube it grows in tropical areas! Great show!
But they don’t live in a tropical area.
Love the video
i like adding black salt to avacado that is turning more yellow. it will taste just like an egg. especially if you also add a bit of pepper to it
Aman works better for these videos, he eats with a lot of gusto and looks much more interested at the subject hahaha
HI!!! I LOVE YOU GUY'S!! AVOCADOS ARE ORIGINALLY FROM MEXICO AND GUACAMOLE IS A PREHISPANIC MEXICAN DISH VERY TRADITIONAL IN ALL MEXICO, AS A MEXICAN I LOVE IT!!
Saru needs to have a farm or a food cart, or both. He would be excellent in both roles, I think.
I don't think they have tried Pico de Gallo yet. It is made with onion, cilantro, tomato and lemon juice. Sometimes avocado is added and sometimes not. Pico de Gallo and Guacamole are eaten at gatherings such as parties, it is what they serve you first with chips and after a few minutes they bring what is going to be eaten at the party. Greetings from the North of Mexico.
Give them the seed from the avocado so they can grow them. They have a simular climate to Mexico, they could grow them easy. I started it in a glass of water until it sprouts about 8 inches and then planted them. I sure they can look up the correct way to do it on line.
Sarru is always doing a head tilt when tasting new food.
Wow, and I thought avocados were expensive here in the US!
It would have been good to show them the actual fruit also.
I remember the first time isaw advocado and its giant seed. It would have been fascinating to see them examine the fruit.
Master in eating - I can relate to that LOL
Oh, I loooove guacamole 😋
If guacamole is seasoned right its awesome. It's the constancy and look that throws alot of people off.
You can grow a tree from the seeds. The tree grows big and produces a lot of fruit.
