When I was younger I fished yellow fin tuna off the Washington's Coast 25-60 miles off the coast. No limit as many as you can catch if you can find the school but most are 20-30 pounds.
Being half Japanese I have and do eat tuna raw , melts in your mouth. Fresh tuna is a dark Red and when cooked changes to pink or white. Most people buy their tuna in a can and yes it's great on sandwiches . I mix Mayo and chopped pickles to mine.

First, whoever cooked the fish deserves a medal! That tuna looks delicious! And I love their observations! Tuna is called the chicken of the sea... And tuna sandwiches are such a staple, especially in the USA, that it is on almost every lunch menu. And thanks to Amaan I will now sing the tuna song the next time I make some... LOL

My father, who passed away sadly way before his time, was an amazing cook and loved to make everything he could.
He would grill three tuna steaks for dinner, and the third would be made into a tuna salad sandwich for my school lunch the next day. So, a great tuna steal for dinner, and a much better than canned tuna salad for lunch the next day.
He was an amazing cook, and an amazing dad

What a lovely surprise for them all. So enjoyable. The genuine appreciation is very moving. One small quibble about translation: the words "hearing" and "listening" are not interchangeable. One does not say - "I am listening this for the first time", rather, says -
"I am hearing this for the first time." This is something I keep hearing, (not "listening"!!!) not knowing whether this is an actual quote, or the choice of the translator.

Tuna is delicious. You can make tuna salad also. Just mince up tuna, add a little mayonnaise, finely chopped onions, dill relish, salt and pepper. Eat like that or put on bread or toast. Delicious. Let them try baked, smoked or pan fried salmon. Delicious. If you don’t have canned tuna, bake the tuna to make tuna salad, don’t fry. If you have canned, strain to get oil or water out before mixing with other stuff.

I always wish all could be there to try yummy food together! Fresh tuna is great, canned tuna is weird, but I eat that too. I love the songs! Be healthy and abundant!
