Thank you. I bought one in cherry red donkeys years ago but gave up bass soon afterwards due to unfortunate personal circumstances. I’ve recently dug it out the cupboard & am learning to play again & had no idea what all the knobs were. Took me an afternoon to find the volume as had only flat 9v batteries lol!
Great bass so stick at it but yes the big downside of active pickups is the battery can go flat, remember to unplug the guitar lead when you're not using it coz that disconnects the battery
oh im a bit out of date if you are buying new...if looking 2nd hand theres a stagg BA20 amp that can be found really cheap and its really good.i love my roland cube bass but theyre expensive
One of my favorite basses in my collection is an Ibanez Ergodyne EDB500. Have you ever played one before, or any of the Ibanez Ergodyne basses? If you have, curious of what you think
It's ok, now I got the SDGR SR370E, but I can testify how great sounding ergodynes are, though the material they are made of is a bit nasty haha, if mine was made of wood, it would probably have survived the fall ^^, but then I imagine the sound and especially comfort and playability wouldn't have been the same...
I have one with a plastic body . It cost 260 two years ago . Only one problem, once you pick it up you never want to put it down. They were selling them like they were about to go out of fashion
@@MADMALKO people were speaking about fretless version and I, altghough I could see the frets on the bass, I thought iti s a fretless version where the frets are just are just drawn out on the neck. I'm entry level, you know...
@@ovidiuboureanu8565 yeah i know what you mean, im not a fretless fan myself -if you see me play a fretless id be sliding up and down the neck at every bit i could squeeze a slide in!
oh i didnt notice that but the body does seem "small" - i guess im flipping between all sorts of basses and guitars all the time so am used to shifting positions all the time?
Ibanez guitars need to come up with some names you know like Stratocaster you know something man these letters I mean it's like 10 letters numbers what does that mean you know
oh i couldnt shoot a deer! - not a big venisson fan ....if they were made of bacon there could be a problem... (i think what we call bacon you call canadian bacon? - crazy amount of food comes from a pig - bacon, gammon, ham, pork) yes i have been on the buckfast tonight!
Got one, in blue, nearly selling it then I seen your video and now I’m in my room, headphones on feeling the beat. Bloody good review.

Does this bass have a built in preamp?
I've experienced a few of those, superb instruments.
What budget amp do you recommend for this bass, please?
