Great video, thank you! Short, and to the point...perfect. I have mine set at 0 - 7 and I do need to change my second setting to a higher %, thus the reason for again looking for support on how to do this. I'm only at 650 trouble free miles, but enjoy the bike and rides immensely!
Once i move to Devon. Im ordering the Step thro. I am 5ft 5. Should help me on my 5mile journey to work. At my age and health, it really should be a god send. So many great reviews
Himiway rep, can you tell us where we can purchase the old 2017 through 2019 control display or a brand new aftermarket that had higher/unlock advanced settings?

What is the part # of the pas on the cruiser. We’re can I buy one after market?
This spring, 2022, I bought two Himiway ebikes. One Cruiser and one Setp-thru.
On the Cruiser, the throttle works at pedal assist settings 0-5. I find that desirable, especially when teaching someone how to operate the bike for the first time.
On the Step-thru model, the throttle will not work on pedal assist setting 0 but it does work on settings 1-5.
I'd like to set the throttle control on the Step-thru to work the same way as the Cruiser.
Any ideas?
It would be extremely helpful if Himiway would make available a COMPLETE controller setup manual.

Yes it can. The only difference is newer models have the speed limited to 40kph or 24.8mph.
Hello, I bought the bike 4 months ago and I always use it at 25 km, but the battery lasts a maximum of 40 km. Is there a way to reduce the engine power and increase the distance? Can you please help?
so this only changes the acceleration/power at different levels, not the max speed? id like to have different top throttle speeds at different levels, is this possible?

The new display assist settings are limited to 0-5 and have better software for smoother riding and motor performance. These settings can not be changed. The battery level indicators also have improved and are more accurate at determining the remaining capacity. These displays are also more water and scratch resistant.
How about adjusting the throttle setting? Still not one video how to access and change it.

50 year old fat kid, just bought his first bike in 30 years... and I LOVE it. First ride was 15 miles, and it only used 1 bar. I should note... I'm 300 pounds. So... I only ever assumed I'd be able to ride the thing 20 miles at a shot anyhow! To know I will easily be able to double that in potential is astounding. (Though, right now, my bum is letting me know I was just sitting on a bicycle seat, aggressively... after those short 15 miles. lol)

Try pressing i to enter. If this doesn't work try a factory reset with the display. To perform a factory reset power up the bike then press the - and i buttons simultaneously. A small n will appear. Press + to get the letter y to appear then press i to enter then again to return to the main display. I hope this solves your problem.
Why my Throttle goes only to 7km/h .I set the pedal assist from 0 to 9 and the max speed to 40 km.
When i start the bike and using the throttle it can only drive 7 km/h. How can i make it up to max?
Sorry you are having an issue with your throttle. I'd try a factory reset with the display. To do a reset press the - and i buttons simultaneously. You will then reach a screen with a small letter n. Press + once to get to the letter y. Press i to enter and return to the main display. If this didn't solve your problem please contact Himiway customer support.
I recently bought this bike and made a few adjustments to the pedal assist levels. Kept it 0-5 and set the % at even increments. 1: 20% 2: 40% 3:60%.... up to level 5 which I set at 99%. My range has been cut in half. Before, I could go to work and back 2 and a half times - about 30km a day at max pedal assist so close to 75km on a charge. After the adjustment, one trip and my battery is dead. Any ideas? Edit - I have the EU version which has a 250w motor. Limited to 25kmh and only throttle to 6 kmh. Definitely not as cool as the US version.
Sorry to hear that. Maybe try a factory reset and make sure your tire pressure is adequate.
