for some reason, these videos are really relaxing. Keep making them dude because I think I am not the only one who likes the chilled vibes you give off.
I got Folklore from my mom early on in the PS3 era, didn't play it for like a year thinking a it's a game my mom bought me those are never any good. Let's be honest we've all had those bargain bins games from our parents at some point. Absolutely loved it and it completely changed my mind on games I got from my mom. I even went back to my "moms gifts" bargain bin collection to find games like road trip adventure, a weird jrpg/racing game with so much heart it hurts. So I don't blame you for wanting to open this game, it deserves to be played.
I can remember all the fantastic times me and my dad played Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour. I’m 22, my dad is 48 and both of us are super hyped for Super Rush on the Switch
I passed on it as I wasn't feeling the demo at all, but I did eventually pick it up before the price went up because I kept seeing it on Hidden Gem lists
Hey Mystic, you should do a video showing off your entire video game collection along with consoles/hand helds. Even if it was like an hour long I'd watch it, very interested in what you've accumulated over the years! Thanks bro for the videos!
Found your channel recently, you do great work. Love the content. If I could recommend maybe putting a 3-5 second clip of gameplay from each game, in between each package you open, that would be really nice to see as a viewer
Two things: I'd definitely like to see a series of short videos where you show parts of your collection. Also I platinumed Dark Cloud on PSNow and it was fantastic.
Folklore is surprisingly good, glad you got a copy of that. Also, this is the third video today that Dark Cloud has shown up in, 2 of those 3 videos are released today. Sounds like Im getting a sign to play one of the 2 games that came out. Great video, these are always fun! Thanks Mystic!
Also Ryan, Sony would give some big box stores employees discount on their games and the games would have the scratch out upc bar on the back so you would not sell them.
Yeah i dont think that copy of Fokelore has any neat history. I used to get tons of games and CDs that had the barcode scratch/punch - its free ones they send to reviewers and discount bin stuff. IMO it makes it no more or less desirable - as its the game i want - a clean disc is more important than sealed or graded or any of the current nonsense. Worst timer to buy games in history. But yeah IMO I dont care about barcode! wouldn't hurt the value. :) but i dont think it could possibly add in any way.
Ryan, love the vids bro! I think I speak for the whole community by wanting you to do a video on your whole PS game collection that you’ve accumulated over the years. You’re library sounds vast and impressive that I’m sure would be really cool to share and see. Make it happen haha. Keep up the quality vids my guy!!
We Playstation fans are super fortunate to have a extremely professional and highly dedicated UA-camr like Mystic. Imagine if Mystic was more of an Xbox based content creator. Thank you Ryan; we the Playstation community adore the heck out of ya 🙏 #SuperThankful
So much better when you buy random games from different eBay sellers because we get to see their packaging style & the condition they send you the games in ... Very Entertaining, hopefully in the future we see more videos like this for that reason i Subscribed.
Man, it was a pain to get a copy of Folklore and NieR a couple of years ago, but I happened to get a good deal on them, except that their boxes were in really bad shape. Fortunately, I was able to change them to another case and they're like brand new now. I don't really collect games based on rarity, but those two games really were something special for me personally.
I bet right now it would be the same for the English version if a copy turned up at a retailer like GameStop, or if a store that doesn't specialize in games had a copy. But if you found it in a local store that specialized in older products they'd probably be aware of the game's relative rarity, and probably would price a pre-owned copy around $60-$75, or an unopened copy would probably be around the same amount as in the video. Pricing on old games is weird sometimes.
Man, I loved Folklore. The Demo was great and I had a blast playing it, definitely worth playing, but I don't know if it is worth the 130$. Hope you'll enjoy it!
More unboxings yes !!!! And Oh wow it seems we both got Destruction Allstars Physical copy in the same week lol. Been waiting to get one for so long . It's a pretty fun game
I love video games!!! I'm actually shocked that VF5 is $16. I picked up a good copy at one of my retro game stores a couple years ago for two dollars. Thankfully I also have folklore cause I see how much that one is climbing too. Good stuff over all! 👍
Frogger 2 Swampy's Revenge! I can still remember the hopping sounds and the pyramid pencil level. I used to play that all the time with my cousin. Makes me a little teary eyed haha

He never got that game back
Seeing Blinx brought back memories i forgot i ever had, forgot the name of the title 10+ years ago and you just reminded me of some of the best times in my life
Yeah I’ve seen the small square of bubble wrap used before, but just a piece of masking tape is a great idea too. (Much cheaper for frequent sellers to boot.)
if the adhesive is too tacky or strong on the tape, it could risk ripping part of the disc label off. This in turn would most likely ruin the disc and render it unusable. Maybe a smiley face sticker might suffice? As long as it don't touch any part of the label. The tape idea was good in thought but unfortunately there was a con to it.
@@tainteddragon2438 ive actually done this to get the data side off to make guitar picks out of aol disks and unless you use extremely high quality duct tape it wont work, but if you use frog tape or something it wont do anything
I own Dark Cloud 1 and 2. Oblivion and Folklore were my first PS3 games. My favorite all time PS game is Legend of Legaia. It's resale/collector's price is around 30 dollars. I know that as I am looking to replace the copy that was stolen from me.
That was awesome man. Sweet pickups! Not to nitpick, but you should get the Oblivion game of the year edition....it comes with the dlc expansions on the disk

On the PS3 and XBOX360 era of games.... Go for the Complete/Game of the year editions as they do have at least up to date patches and DLC on disk(s). So when the online stores do go offline, you will still have all the content.
Picked up a copy of Folklore used several years ago. Never know which games are going to shoot up in price. There are three dlc add-ons in the playstation store, I think at $6 each.
Folklore is a great game..... I bought it when it originally came out and knew it would be a sleeper hit so I bought a second copy when it was in the $20 bargain bin..... So now I have one opened copy to play, and one still sealed...... did the same thing with 3D Dot Game Heroes......
Would love a video on sort of behind the scenes on how you handle duplicates from mystery box or how/if you make any revenue reselling any of these games. Thanks for excellent videos!
Hey Ryan. That Virtua Fighter was sunbleached. I walk into local game shops all the time and see front facing labels bleached all the time. Same goes for spines. When you see an Original Xbox title that looks kind of blue, that's sunbleached as well.
Wow, I picked up a complete copy of Folklore at a local game store while I was visiting Savannah, Georgia! Got it for $27 and I also picked up a complete copy of Genji Days of The Blade for $6 but that's understandable lol
when I looked at prices for folklore here in Aus, I was excited, then I remembered my copy has a plastic layer over the entire disc to 'protect' the blockbuster stickers on it, the box art is also trashed, only played it a little bit but its a really enjoyable game
Just wanted to comment, because I resell video games when I can get my hands on them, that selotape holding the disc, that was quite a cool idea. May do that myself a few times from now on.
I’d love to see a video dedicated to cleaning up your roughest titles.
this.
I’d love to see this and also using other games/copies for good booklets and stuff to make games complete

I love video games too Mystic. Keep up the great work on your YT.
May do that myself a few times from now on.
random games videos is so fun to watch, love it!!
I've been sub to this guy for years his still making good content.Keep it up bro👍
Ryan: Let's... (2 second freeze)
My brain : (talk Playstation!! Talk Playstation)
Ryan: break into these.
13:44 i find this game on my local store , new game and the price was 10.99 USD
Also the burned/punched UPC code is from the Sony Retail Loyalty site where it was paid for about 10$ during that time.
This was such a relaxing video... until the part where you said you were gonna open the mint Folklore. That spiked my heart rate 😂
