Now a days, I’m not so sure, as GOTY editions are becoming increasingly rare in the market, and even then games that got one like BloodBorne, have just the base game in its GH edition. So it’s just a matter of preference if you like the box art (and different case, if you happen to live in a region in which PS4 GHs still keep the red design) and find more appealing the price drop that come with these editions.

Lol they give off such similar vibes to me
@@Bensaw11 yeah they were really excited about it
That spec ops copy is flawless. And I loved playing enter the matrix lol back in the day
Medal of honour frontline is a great game you should give it a go
Return of the King is a great game! I have very fond memories of playing the co-op campaign with family.
The original Medal of Honor is better than ANY Call of Duty game, period.
Eh not any, majority sure.
That Pixar Cars game is actually really fun to play :D Even though it's kind of childish and such, it's fun to play with younger siblings or even alone
"no manual"
price: COMPLETE
uh, that's not complete...
Love the random game lots videos! I've started picking some up myself and got some good pickups.
Damn, collectors complaining about the “Greatest Hits” editions always make me feel bad for liking those and having them xD the red cases in the PS3 era were sick to me.
PlayStation Hits on PS4 might be the worst honestly
@@brandon_nope that I can agree with, in PS3 the whole case and label was red, making box arts like the ones of Red Dead Redemption and Uncharted 2 even better. But in PS4 whether you got a blue or red case, you will have the blue label sticking out which makes everything look odd.
@@brandon_nope I didn't even know there was a greatest hits PS4 cause I had never seen one. Even though I have at least 50 PS4 games, they are all the original case at release. Now PS2 on the other hand, the majority of my collection is greatest hits.
Is there actually any difference between the standard and greatest hits? I saw the greatest hits version for Yakuza 0, but have no idea if I should get it or the standard version.
@@hyperdim8457 back in the day, if a game got a GOTY version, that’s the one that was used for the GH edition, giving you bonus stuff. I for example got a ton of avatars, a dynamic theme, an animated comic and multiplayer maps with my Uncharted 2 copy.
Theses videos by mystic are like therapy for me :)
Western New York, like Buffalo? How's the snow out there this morning?
I live in the Rochester area near Buffalo. We have only gotten around 4-6 inches so far. Not bad at all.
@@ThrillofTill Live from Plattsburgh... we’ve got lots more. :)
@@lyonadimral Oh I can imagine Plattsburgh got tons of snow.
I live in Syracuse, we beat Buffalo for the Golden Snowball just about every year, yet they get all the glory :) I assume because they were a major city back in the day, most people still dont know what Syracuse is besides a basketball team :)
@@squidracerX I have family in Cicero. I know snow.
cant stop watching these videos keep up the good work
Ah yes, the trash dumpster that isn't THAT bad eBay.
You said you live in western New York? I live in Rochester! Couldn't believe I heard you say that! Keep up the good work My Brother!
It's kinda sad people in the comments really don't know how much a game can go for these days .. any horror game on any system you can be sitting on 100 to 1000 of dollars depending on what you have
Nice buy, Ryan! There are a few games in there that I would certainly like to get my hands on again. And you're not alone. I also really enjoy Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2. I was actually quite mad that it wasn't included in the HD Collection.
Also, these types of videos are always interesting to me. Here's hoping you will do one with PS3 games again in the near future.
Lastly... I am still waiting on my PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, I did not make the initial batch, so I have to be patient a little more. Recently watched your review on the system and it made the wait even more difficult. At least I have this channel to jeep me occupied. And an Xbox Series X, which I did manage to get day one, fortunately.
Thanks for the video!
I'm too broke to care about if a game is a greatest hits or not, though I'm managing to avoid ps4 greatest hits
Lol same
Watching these videos makes me want to get some of these lots, but I have nowhere to store that many games
No matter the length of your videos, they always zoom by so fast.
Awesome video as usual! The Lord of the Ring ROTK for ps2 was a classic and great couch co-op game with friends. As far as GameCube's go, you need to check Facebook marketplace because there are people who genuinely don't realize the value of those consoles. This past December I snagged a Gamecube, 3 controllers, memory card, and Zelda Windwaker for $80 on FB marketplace. Keep your eye out there
I’m still contemplating buying the jak and daxtar collection on PlayStation I’ve never played jak and daxtar can someone convince me what the hype is about?
i loved the story personally, but it's also a good platformer, and it's made by the same people who made crash bandicoot. for me it's a must play on ps2, like ratchet and clank or sly cooper.
@@rayzojams thank you u may have just convinced me didn’t know these the same developers as crash do the games get better with each series or is it more of a 1 title is by far better then some of the others basically is the collection nessesary or does one game stand out from the other’s?
@@lahdopa hm, well I'd say it's best to experience the full series from the first game to Jak X (even though it's a racing game but still part of the series). if you have a psp then i also recommend getting daxter, takes place between the first game and the second one. but there's no real "best" title, it's just what you feel is the best, so this is why it's better to play all of them, and make your own opinion.
I love these types of videos, please make more of them👍🙏
