Why are Scotts FNAF renders so unbelievably unique? I haven’t seen ANYONE capable of fully replicating what his renders look like, LIKE HOW???? It just comes to show the technical talent this one man alone contains.
it's really weird because imo it doesn't look that good, but it has such a good composition that it kinda makes it really unique. That really is the fnaf feeling, while the latest games made by steel wool studios might look better, something about these scott renders is really cool

i remember back in 2015 thinking that springtrap had a cool design but that he was less interesting that the other animatronics and then the night 5 minigame starts...
Honestly when this game came out I thought it was the worst one. But as it has aged I've realized that aesthetically and conceptually it might be my favorite one. It is such a visually cramped game, never giving you an area to breath in except the office, with the office in fact being TOO open, making the player feel defenseless. Springtrap hides in corners and for the first time it feels like something fully sentient and wise is stalking you, not just an angry and confused spirit. The locations intentional rundown and tacky look also gives it an abandoned feeling, something I am suprised they have never done for the story of any of these games. Come on, someone goes into an abandoned building and gets trapped in there with animatronics, it sounds cool right? Anyways, I love how stressless it feels in comparison to fnaf 2. It feels more like something sinister is slowly lurking towards you, and while in fnaf 2 you had a sure fire solution to beat every animatronic, this one animatronic is far more intelligent, not falling for your old solutions. It feels like an agonizingly tense situation, with him approaching ever closer as all of your defenses slowly become more useless and broken. It is the only game in the series that has enough subtlety that I would consider it ominous, the other games are far too active and high octane for that. But this game feels like it is worn out, just like the franchise was at the time with oversaturation, it feels like the animatronics are as weary of repeating this 5 night cycle as the players are. And I think that was intentional, Scott knew the series was on a downhill at the time so he played into it by integrating it into the story and gameplay. It is the only game in the series I could actually see being able to be made into a traditional horror movie without having to change too much. In conclusion, it's a pretty neat game and a unique twist for a series so obsessed with throwing a million mechanics at you at a time and hoping they all stick (not an insult, just an observation, I love this series.) Plus Springtrap is by far the best concept they came up with out of all of the animatronics. He is just edgy enough that he is scary while still maintaining a sense of realism, as opposed to the intentionally over the top Nightmare animatronics.
it is funny because for me, fnaf 3 was like low tier fnaf game, but nowadays is my top 3 fnaf game ,(of the original 7 obviusly) and fnaf 2 who was one of the best when it came out is just the worst (more so because of the mecanics and the boring loop you have to do for 7 minutes)

I love how fitting this ambience is. It feels so unique compared to most of the other games. That industrial droning and occasional (synth?) note really gives the feel of a dangerous, decrepit and abandoned establishment.

I really like the detail of Sprigtrap avoiding cameras, it's a change if pace game wise, spooky as fuck with the tension and what not, and a sort of subtle reminder that he's a child murderer, he avoids cameras to avoid getting caught.
Yeah, and there's so many places he can be, because there are many rooms, and he hides in the corners of the already dark cameras. Also, unlike every other animatronic ever, he doesn't have a set route to the player. So even if you do find Trappy Boi, you probably won't realize it. And then when you're freaking out because you can't find him, the ventilation goes out and then you die
It reminds you that the original animatronics had the souls of children and so they were reckless and easy to spot, while Springtrap knew what he was doing, hiding in dark spaces and staying just out of the view of the security cameras.

A lof of people say FNaF 3 is the least scariest. And that may be true if you ignore everything going on and just focus on playing it, but it becomes one of the scariest when you realize you're not up against animalistic robots with the minds of children, you're up against a grown human serial killer. He knows where to hide so you can't see him, he toys with you by looking straight into the cameras and by peeking around corners or hiding around your door when you see him. He takes his time and stalks you like an animal, or a hunter catching prey. He has strategy and experience in murder, he takes advantage of distractions like the phantoms or the systems going down, and he knows just how to get you. You're essentially dealing with another human, but twice as dangerous. Not to mention he's wearing the suit he used to murder children, it's not only stained with his blood, but theirs too. He's dealt with animatronics before, he's the most dangerous antagonist in the series. You're going one on one, in a game of hide and seek with a serial killer. He's not coming for you for misguided revenge, he's doing it for fun.

I like the tone of this track, a eerie sinister tone that really sounds like something's there, and it's out to get you. It also gives me a run down vibe as if I'm in some abandoned facility or house.
I like how Scott Cawthon can make the lighting looks like it actually lights up It’s just two images, one lit up and the other dim He overlaps the two and fades it in and out
scariest part is how you can see him hide and toy with you, it shows he’s really still got the mind of a murderer, normally the animatronics in the other games are quite obvious and don’t take long to find, but with springtrap he either hides in the shadows so you don’t see him coming, or looks directly at you just to mess around with you, it’s especially creepy when you realise the only reason the voice gets rid of him is because he wants to kill whatever is making that voice and sometimes he doesn’t even listen to the voice because he’s realised that it’s not even real, but because he’s got the mind of a murderer who killed children he just has to check time to time.
He actually follows the sounds because the springlock suits a re programmed to stay around where the sound is, so when they are in animatronic mode, they would stay around the children. That is explained in one of the tapes
I love how Scott's art style when it comes to 3d modeling and lighting gives off vibes of 90s horror point and clicks such of the likes of drowned god, I have no mouth and I must scream, D, and harvester come to think of it, I'd love to see what fnaf would look like if it came out in the mid 90s

I think perhaps the most frightening thing about this game is that William knows all the tricks. He knows all about the location and your lack of safety so he toys with you by staring at you through the cameras, like he's taunting you that he will be seeing you soon

It feels like an agonizingly tense situation, with him approaching ever closer as all of your defenses slowly become more useless and broken.
It is the only game in the series that has enough subtlety that I would consider it ominous, the other games are far too active and high octane for that.
But this game feels like it is worn out, just like the franchise was at the time with oversaturation, it feels like the animatronics are as weary of repeating this 5 night cycle as the players are. And I think that was intentional, Scott knew the series was on a downhill at the time so he played into it by integrating it into the story and gameplay.
It is the only game in the series I could actually see being able to be made into a traditional horror movie without having to change too much.
In conclusion, it's a pretty neat game and a unique twist for a series so obsessed with throwing a million mechanics at you at a time and hoping they all stick (not an insult, just an observation, I love this series.) Plus Springtrap is by far the best concept they came up with out of all of the animatronics. He is just edgy enough that he is scary while still maintaining a sense of realism, as opposed to the intentionally over the top Nightmare animatronics.

I really like the detail of Sprigtrap avoiding cameras, it's a change if pace game wise, spooky as fuck with the tension and what not, and a sort of subtle reminder that he's a child murderer, he avoids cameras to avoid getting caught.
Yeah, and there's so many places he can be, because there are many rooms, and he hides in the corners of the already dark cameras.
Also, unlike every other animatronic ever, he doesn't have a set route to the player.
So even if you do find Trappy Boi, you probably won't realize it.
And then when you're freaking out because you can't find him, the ventilation goes out and then you die
It also makes you lean closer to look for him, which makes you more vulnerable to jumpscares

It reminds you that the original animatronics had the souls of children and so they were reckless and easy to spot, while Springtrap knew what he was doing, hiding in dark spaces and staying just out of the view of the security cameras.

A lof of people say FNaF 3 is the least scariest. And that may be true if you ignore everything going on and just focus on playing it, but it becomes one of the scariest when you realize you're not up against animalistic robots with the minds of children, you're up against a grown human serial killer.
He knows where to hide so you can't see him, he toys with you by looking straight into the cameras and by peeking around corners or hiding around your door when you see him. He takes his time and stalks you like an animal, or a hunter catching prey. He has strategy and experience in murder, he takes advantage of distractions like the phantoms or the systems going down, and he knows just how to get you. You're essentially dealing with another human, but twice as dangerous.
Not to mention he's wearing the suit he used to murder children, it's not only stained with his blood, but theirs too. He's dealt with animatronics before, he's the most dangerous antagonist in the series.
You're going one on one, in a game of hide and seek with a serial killer. He's not coming for you for misguided revenge, he's doing it for fun.

scariest part is how you can see him hide and toy with you, it shows he’s really still got the mind of a murderer, normally the animatronics in the other games are quite obvious and don’t take long to find, but with springtrap he either hides in the shadows so you don’t see him coming, or looks directly at you just to mess around with you, it’s especially creepy when you realise the only reason the voice gets rid of him is because he wants to kill whatever is making that voice and sometimes he doesn’t even listen to the voice because he’s realised that it’s not even real, but because he’s got the mind of a murderer who killed children he just has to check time to time.
He actually follows the sounds because the springlock suits a re programmed to stay around where the sound is, so when they are in animatronic mode, they would stay around the children. That is explained in one of the tapes
I love how Scott's art style when it comes to 3d modeling and lighting gives off vibes of 90s horror point and clicks such of the likes of drowned god, I have no mouth and I must scream, D, and harvester

I think perhaps the most frightening thing about this game is that William knows all the tricks. He knows all about the location and your lack of safety so he toys with you by staring at you through the cameras, like he's taunting you that he will be seeing you soon
