I went to Arizona after living in North Carolina most of my life and returned after a few months. Sometimes it doesn’t take long to realize you’re not where you want to be and honestly that’s growth to know yourself well enough and be confident enough to do what’s best for you. I don’t think it matters to most of us where you are. We enjoy you and your content regardless
There was a time a few years ago that I was absolutely incredulous at what I saw people saying on the internet about a single mom who shared dollar tree hauls. Ive watched your channel since almost the beginning and it sounds a little weird but because of my own circumstances this channel has offered me a lot of comfort through the years during some extremely difficult times. I dont come here to know a damned thing about your personal life, or your private business. I come here because I genuinely just like you as a person. I think you have a good heart, and these videos are comforting to me. Ill be 100 percent honest, I just simply dont care where you decide to live or spend your money, or what you do in your spare time. Why would any of that be my business? People are honestly really scary if you stumble onto the right dark corners of the internet...so Ive made the very intenional effort to avoid all of that like the freaking plague. As long as you are comfortable and happy Im happy for you, and Im happy to go along for the ride with you as long as I am invited. ;-)

I think you are making a lot of sense of it all, and you are learning and growing everyday. Everything is a life experience to be enjoyed and you bloom wherever you are planted. Home takes on a deeper meaning now. You’re in the process of becoming who you are intended to become every step you take forward on this wonderful life’s journey. You got this girl. 😊💖💫
It takes a lot of courage to do what you did. Raising your daughter, making sure she was settled before you moved on. There is no shame in trying a new experience and certainly no shame to know when it’s time to move forward. Best of luck with the decisions you will be making. Wanting to go home is ok, really ok.💜

What you are experiencing happens more often than you think.
My husband and I did a similar move only to the west coast and had what we refer to as our extended 14 month vacation. It was a perfect and beautiful area, but we both learned how much we missed Texas. There is just something that draws you back home!

I lived in Illinois my whole life and moved to Arkansas 8 years ago ,after the first year I wanted to move back home so bad ,but it was never the right time ,didn't have the money ,and now I'm kinda stuck here. I'm 66 years old and on social security, it's just to expensive now so the only way I'm going home is in my dreams. I say listen to your heart ,do what makes you happy and never apologize to anyone ,I love you, I love your videos and I'm cheering for you ,I can't wait to see what you do next ,I'm excited for you too ! ❤
I’ve been watching your videos for several years now, and I feel like I can be honest here. It’s very obvious that it has been a struggle for you with this move. But…I’ve really seen you thrive - you’re so lighthearted and even funnier than you were when you were in TX. You’ve found your groove with junk journaling and starting your kits business. It has truly been so great watching your transition. Believe me when I say I know how hard it is to make a big move - I moved from Denver to a tiny town in 2019, right before COVID hit. And when I say it’s a tiny town, I mean we have one store (yes, one Kroger…that’s it!) and three fast food restaurants. No mall within 35 miles, now Barnes and Noble, no Dollar Tree, no Uber, and the only consistent cellphone carrier is Verizon. Most people here don’t even know how Amazon works. This has been the hardest three years of my life, and I’ve can’t even tell you how many times I’ve wanted to move back to where I’m comfortable. It has only been recently that I’m finally getting back to doing things I enjoy and am finding myself again. I don’t really know what I’m trying to say, really, other than you’re not alone. Be patient with yourself and the process. Sometimes things are supposed to happen, but it just takes longer than we anticipate. Oh, and please get back to doing your junk journal lives…I look forward to them every week! 😂

I have great respect for the sacrifices you made to provide your daughter with a stable and loving childhood especially since you were so young to become a mother. It shows what character and maturity you had when you were still a kid yourself. It is “your time”. Take adventures, explore, and discover more about yourself now that your daughter is older.
Never feel pressured to say anything you want to keep to yourself. And you need to try new things if you desire.Most of us love you because you are funny, helpful and you obviously care about all these people you don't even know. I do work full time but live alone. You brighten my life.

Honestly happy for you, I know...well as we all know your journey after Loxi's passing was difficult to say the least. It's good to be guarded with your plans...it doesn't mean you don't like to share, but you're just like all of the rest of us who aren't on youtube/social media...you need your space; emotional, and spiritual space, we all deserve this. With that being said, you asked if we want more of this from you (detail chats etc.) I would like that, it's nice to know what our girl is up to lol! But again, all of this needs to be within what you're comfortable with. Anyhow, happy for you and this decision (I live in Canada so I have no vested interest if you go back to Texas.. but I see the happiness on your face)! 💗

I can relate I’m a 68yr old lady who moved 17yrs ago never liked living away from my old home Any way story short do what makes you happy life is to short. I completely understand where your coming from. I was raised in Northern California but born in Colorado & all my dad’s family is there so I would spend some summer’s there in my teen years and visit often then life happens & I became a young mom (19yo) by 21 yo had 2 kids married after the kids & than divorced & became a single mom of 3. My life definitely was devoted to my kids worked graveyard for 27 years now grandma of 9 & retired in December of 2019. Thank God I got to go on a cruise & traveled to Israel right before the pandemic hit. Well…pandemic happened I was retired, got bored and just moved out of my apartment got rid of my furniture put some stuff in storage packed my car & moved to Colorado. Although I have lots of family I rented a room because I to am a private person. I visit with family occasionally but again I got bored & looked for part time work which I was so blessed to get & meet people on my own. I love Colorado compare to California but I was missing my grandkids. I’ve always been very involved with them but with the pandemic couldn’t visit with them and after 14 months in Denver it was time for me to move back to California. Even family thought I was crazy for traveling by myself but I’m so grateful that I DID IT & not live my life wishing that I had it. Got a new apartment & new furniture so it was no time wasted. So you go girl & I will pray safe travels back home. Blessings🙏🏻❤️

I was born and raised in J’ville and I miss it so much. I’m in GA and it only takes 25 minutes to get to the Airport but it’s not the same. I want to fiscally live there.

You have a right to share what you want to share, and do so when you're ready. I think for most of us we could sense Texas calling you home and saw the joy jump outta you when you were there recently. Above anything, you viewers want you to be happy and healthy, wherever that might be. Healing is a good thing and you needed that.
I'm glad you realized what ur heart wants and where u belong sooner than later really. Just glad u don't have to stay somewhere that u are miserable. Honestly, I've noticed you just don't seem as happy. Just do what makes U happy Marie and share only what u are comfortable sharing. It's ur life,ur business and those that don't support you can leave. I hate to admit it,but I don't think anywhere has ever felt like home to me, except when I lived with my papa and nannie in GA. My Nannie died when my daughter was 8 and I didn't go back to GA even to visit my dad til my daughter was like almost 18. It was just too hard to go back, bc even then I drove to my nannies old apartment and just sat in the parking lot. I was going thru some stuff and that was the only place that felt like home to me. So I just sat in that old parking lot like an idiot til i felt slightly better. I'm still not where I want to be, I've been here in NC for I guess 2yrs now. I kind of hate it and rent is ridiculous everywhere. We just all do what we can. Just focus on U chic. Oh I do want to know where u left off with the big blue aliens 😆 I'm in Icehome, Steph's outcast

I was born and raised near Youngstown Ohio. I moved to Texas in 1999 @32. Fast forward to February 2022, I lost my husband/soul mate to Covid. I decided to move home so I could spend time with my Mama. It has been a really really hard transition. I expect I too will end up back in Texas. I'm praying things go smoothly for you friend.

I absolutely know how you feel. After 16 years in NC we moved to MA in 2021. Same situation, we didn’t vibe with the town, used to vacation there, bought the house sight unseen and absolutely hated it. We moved back to NC after exactly a year. You know where home is and where you’re supposed to be.
God will open the door for you at the right time. Until then, enjoy the healing journey… and the beach 😊 this is coming from a Michigan girl , which God took me out of to Illinois for 4 years. I had a lot of healing to do from physical, emotional and mental abuse. God opened the door and I am now back in Michigan. I truly understand the not feeling connected in another state.

Born here, many friends here and I found out my heart was here too. My hubby held out for many years but he found he doesn’t dislike PA either! Follow your heart.❤. Just don’t leave us! We will continue to love you and Loki wherever you live!!❤. (And Loki maybe will get rid of his allergies!!)

You have to do what’s best for you. You know your a strong person. You can do this. I lost my soulmate this last year. We had been going from home to Texas in the winters. I decided I wanted to do that still. And I’m here in texas, not really knowing anyone.

Moved from PA to Colorado, was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It took me a long time before I got used to being away from home. But I had my husband and kids with me so that was a huge help. I’d never go back to PA to live, and have lived in about 10 different places since that first move, but I do know everyone has a different experience. I do say I miss my brother and extended family who are still there though. Only you know what’s right for you.

Hi Marie. I completely understand how you feel. Totally felt stagnant in living in my hometown. I moved from Michigan to Georgia, the only state I lived in for my whole life. It’s been 6 years and still miss home but really am happy with my decision. However, I really do not know if i will stay here, go back home or move somewhere else! I understand completely. I was born and raised in California and have lived away from home for the last 40 yrs. I still make frequent trips to CA because that is where the majority of my family lives. I’ve lived in Arizona for the last 30 years. Every time I go home, part of me never wants to come back. But the reality of it is that there is no real place for me there and it is WAY too expensive. My quality of life is better here. I get the conundrum 😊
Marie, I love your videos, but honestly you don’t owe us anything when it comes to your personal life. Share what you feel comfortable sharing, your long time subscribers will still be here watching your content. It’s nice that you share personal stories, but in reality, the internet is a scary place and your privacy is of utmost importance. Take care and lots of love. I will ask that you still share lots of Loki, he makes me smile every time he’s on the screen. His little butt wiggle when you go on walks gets me every time, lol

In my honest opinion, no one is entitled to know what is or isn’t going on in you’re life or your daughters life, you’re privacy is still within your own capacity to keep whatever and everything you want to yourself, no one has the power, unless you give it to them to know every single last thing in your life..
Yeah you do hauls which we all enjoy, you do scrapbooking and blogging, we love all of that…
But still NO one and I mean no one has the right to make you feel as though you need to tell us about your lif, if you want to keep it private, then keep it that way..
If you want to move to Tim buck two then you can do that too. Wherever you live, you live, no one can make you stay where you don’t feel like it be if it’s your life style or your happiness, and health..

I've heard so many UA-camrs say that they get tons of nasty. What I can't figure out is if they're that angry at you or don't like you why are they watching you??
I agree. Life is short, and the older I get the shorter it gets. I don’t have time to do/watch all the things I love…..how am I gonna spend time watching things I don’t? 🤷♀️
