  • Got a few items in for my personal rig, a new Modular Padded Shoulder Harness and Sure-Grip Padded Belt from HSGI! I really liking it so far and can't wait to get out in the woods this weekend to start the testing process. HSGI (High Speed Gear Inc.) makes some great gear for the tactical community, which will also work great for my purposes. Just wanted to share it with you guy. I could not help posting a facebook pic about it and everyone has been asking. Talk with you all soon!

    Where there is a will there is a way. Whenever you have change, put it aside no matter how little it is. Eventually it adds up and you can add to it however much the wife allows. Its a slow process but I bought my new Rem 700 .308 that way.

    Gene makes some bad azz gear, I have a 1st Generation Denali and my 14 year old son has a Warlord, not only does his gear rock but his customer service is the CHIT, which seems to be a HUGE issue anymore.

    A great looking rig but just a lil too wide for my liking. My preferences are also geared for bushwhacking which means a narrow backpack/rig that doesn't sit wider than my body width. I have really gotten used too having a clean exterior pack nothing but the water bottle is exposed. And of course my belt kit with my SAK Trekker, NWS pliers and compass on my hip. NWS makes a awesome 6 1/2" pliers. The NWS CombiMax 109 Chrome. Check'em out. Really multi functional.

    from someone that has scoliosis in his spine. ( abnormal curving of spine). I've been looking for a system that isn't hard on my back. i would love a system likes yours. Too bad the wife wont let me spend the money on the sabercat, let alone the rest of it. I hope you get out a lot more now. Enjoy the outdoors.

    I have the same setup. HSGI is about the best manufacturer out there. Don't forget the belt has 3 access ports for subloads...one in back and one on each side. If you get the "modular drop leg platform" or the "mini modular drop leg platform", it will give you more molle/pals for you to run more gear should you run out of space. Hope this helps. Great videos...keep it up!!

    You said I was jealous so I just mentioned my gear to show you I wasn't. I made a respectful observation that is rooted in experience and facts, provide reasons to support the kit in this video or just keep trolling like a little kid.

    I have a couple older Blackhawk setups that I've debated pushing into bushcrafting service. They've been in storage since I got out of the Corps. Thanks for letting me know I'm not crazy for thinking of using them Adam.

    Hey Adam, that green book behind you....I have that same book. They're kinda hard to find, but well worth it if ya find em. Great information that can be directly applied, or modified a lil to be used in current times.

    That looks like a pretty awesome piece of gear. Is the harness height adjustable? and how does the weight settle as opposed to a normal backpack? if you know what i mean

    You're not being harsh, a good question. The more I test it, the more I will know. As someone that has had a back injury, that is very important to me. Thanks for the input.

    i noticed the straps are hooked to the bag and not the belt. does this setup cause lower back tension/pain in prolonged periods of time?

    Hi Adam, going to order the shoulder harness and thought I'd ask a question as you seem to respond to feedback on your videos quickly (which is great, btw). Apart from color options there is a strap size option, what is that for?
    Thanks for the video, this is exactly what I've been looking for for my sabercat setup.

    Nothing to do with jealousy, I'm not trying to brag but I have thousands of dollars in equipment, I'm just thinking about running with this rig on and it would be impractical. Need something that tighter to the body and one piece.

    Hey Equip2Endure, I have an HSGI battle belt and I'm tryin to buy the MPSH suspenders for it, but the extra "strap size" option on their website confuses the shit out of me. 2-1.5, 4-1, 4-1.5, whatever. Which version of the MPSH did you get?

  • @Fadsmashers
    @Fadsmashers 12 років тому

    That looks so ridiculously impractical, just a bunch of stuff bouncing around all over the place to get snagged up on things and throw your balance off. Better off with a large capacity tactical vest and a versipack for one leg.
